Years later Seo Soojin was a busy woman but her chaotic lifestyle was wearing her out, her best friend Minnie suggested she take a vacation but she knew she wouldn't be able to relax so her other friend Soyeon suggested that she find something or someone to distract her, a sugar baby perhaps, apparently Soyeon had found one in an app and suggested that Soojin do the same. Helping someone financially in exchange for company seemed absurd to Soojin but she ended up downloading the app, profiles of women of all types appeared but none of them had caught her attention as she would have liked.

On one of the nights when Soojin couldn't sleep she decided to run along the Han River, after about half an hour running she decided to grab a latte in a coffee shop, it was a warm and cozy place and it was practically empty

A cute young woman who looked to be in her early 20s appeared at the counter and Soojin smiled at her

The barista gave her a shy cute smile and Soojin didn't know why but she couldn't take her eyes off her, there is something about this girl…Yeh Shuhua according to her nametag, and she decided that she would go back to the coffee shop whenever she could

And she did, she always came to the coffee shop, asked the same thing and she was always served by Shuhua with few words being exchanged between them, just shy smiles and generous tips, it gave her a warm feeling inside, it became part of her routine and she only realized that she missed Shuhua when she traveled to Japan and Thailand on business, she spent almost 3 weeks traveling and when she came back to Seoul the first thing she did was visit the coffee shop

Soojin couldn't help but smile when she saw the big smile Shuhua gave her

That night Soojin introduced herself to Shuhua and found out more about the barista, Shuhua was 21 years old, daughter of Taiwanese immigrants who lived in Jeonju, she is living in Seoul to study literature but her big dream is to be a successful writer, she had already sent some drafts to publishers but had not been successful so far, for now Shuhua worked in the coffee shop and several other places to be able to support herself and pay for college.

Shuhua was cute, funny and after that night, Soojin's interest in her only increased, in addition to the generous tips she started to bring sweets and chocolates to Shuhua, which made the barista extremely embarrassed

-Ma´am, you don´t have to bring me anything, your tips are more than enough

-Nonsense, take it

Conversations between them continued normally, they kind of became friends, Shuhua even showed Soojin some texts she had written and poems but Soojin craved for more.

 Soojin had a busy week and hadn't had time to go to the coffee shop, it was late but she needed to see Shuhua so she decided to take a chance, she drove quickly but  when she stopped the car in front from the coffee shop the lights were off, Shuhua must have gone home already, Soojin sighed, she really wanted to see Shuhua, defeated she started driving again but after driving two blocks she recognized a silhouette walking down the sidewalk
