Soojin was having a wonderful dream when Shuhua ripped the curtains open making Soojin groans with the light as she buries her face in the pillow

-JIN AH! LOOK OUTSIDE

-I wanna go back to sleep Shu

-But Jin ah

Soojin felt the pout

-Fine, I’m awake. What's got you so excited?

Shuhua rushes back over to the window and opens the curtains

-It´s snowing Jin ah

Shuhua's smile is contagious and for a moment Soojin forgets that she woke her up early

-Looks like you and Hyeon will have the snow fight you were hoping but now let me sleep some more before the kids wake up

-Just half an hour Jin ah, I waited for it all year

Soojin just settled on the bed but before she could sleep someone knocked on the door

-EOMMA, MOMMY WAKE UP

Hyeon and Jina enter their bedroom, the boy just as excited as Shuhua about the snow

-Eomma, its snowing

Little Jina jumps in the bed making Soojin moan louder

-Wake up eomma

Shuhua and Hyeon look at the girl who insists on jumping on the bed, they know how sulky Soojin can be when she doesn't get enough sleep

-Jiji let your eomma sleep a little more ok? how about we make cookies?

-But I want to play in the snow

 -And we will play, but not now ok? Let's go to the kitchen

Shuhua and the kids left the bedroom and Soojin tried to go back to sleep for a while but the laughter from the kitchen and the slight fear of leaving Jina near a hot oven supervised by Shuhua made her get up soon. When she arrived in the kitchen, she found her children and wife dressed in matching aprons with matching hats, courtesy of Grandma Yeh, Hyeon and Jina were making chocolate cookies while Shuhua worked on plain cookies and Soojin can't help but remember when she and her sister used to made cookies with their mother when they were children, she still talked to her father and sister but the relationship was not as close as before, both divided between pleasing Mrs. Seo and not severing ties with Soojin once and for all, Soojin's heart sank as she remembered her mother but she preferred not to let herself be overwhelmed by it, not when she had two amazing children and a wonderful wife to celebrate Chr
