Shuhua’s eyes opened, fluttering at the bright lights, her head is hurting and a doctor is talking to her

-Who are you?

Shuhua voice was hoarse and the doctor gave her some water

-Welcome back Miss Yeh you’ve been unconscious for a week now

-What happened? Where I am?

-We are in Los Angeles Miss Yeh, you were leaving the airport when a runaway car hit the taxi you were in, you fractured some ribs and your leg and suffered a big blow on your head, please look over my shoulder for a minute

The doctor pulled out a pen light and leaned in and flicked it on

-Why do you call me Miss Yeh, I am married, has someone contacted Soojin, my wife?

-I'm here Shuhua

Shuhua saw Soojin in a corner

-Jin ah what did I do this time? You only call me Shuhua when you are mad at me, were you in the taxi too? Did you hurt yourself? What happened to your hair?

The doctor looked at Soojin worried

- Miss Yeh, what year is it?

-Is this a joke ? It's 2029 Soojin and I just got married

Soojin and the doctor looked concerned again and Shuhua noticed that something was wrong

-What’s going on doctor?

- The date today is July 4nd, 2032

-Why are you doing this doctor? Is this a prank?

-We should do some tests Miss Yeh but you forgot the last 3 years

Shuhua looked at Soojin, the Korean woman had her eyes lowered and seemed to be holding back crying

-But am I going to get them back? right?

-We will have to analyze your case better to give a more complete diagnosis

When she woke up last week the lastest thing Soojin imagined was that she would receive a call from a hospital saying that her ex wife had an accident and that she was still her emergency contact, it was days of suffering waiting for Shuhua to wake up, Soojin had had the difficult mission to contact her ex-in-laws and tell them what had happened, it was Ms. Yeh who explained why Shuhua was in Los Angeles, she had traveled to take the divorce papers for Soojin to sign. Now Shuhua was awake but did not remember anything that had happened in the last 03 years, including their divorce and Soojin didn´t know what to do

- We did all the tests Miss Seo and Miss Yeh suffers from retrograde amnesia

- But will she get them back?
