A new family had moved into the neighborhood, according to Soojin's father they were from Taiwan and had been in South Korea for a few months. The Yeh´s was the name of the new neighbors and they had three daughters, but it was the middle one that caught Soojin's attention cause she is kind of weird. Like most children in that neighborhood, the Yeh sisters started studying at the same school as Soojin, they were always together at recess, speaking in a language unknown to Soojin but the girl in the middle always looked at her with a strange expression. Soojin always been different than other kids, a shy and quiet eight year old girl that was always been more interested in playing with her toys than make friends so the middle sister's interest in her was at least curious

-Hi?

Soojin was so distracted with her lego that she didn't notice that someone had approached, when she looked to the side the middle sister was standing there.

-You need anything?

The girl looked at her with a confused expression.
-You have been watching me

Soojin said but the girl just bit her lip and placed her hand on her chest.

Was she introducing herself? Soojin just stared at her

-Seo Soojin

The girl smiled, looked at the lego and then at Soojin

-Play?

-Uh, sure

Shuhua sat next to her and stared at her.

-Do you want to start?

Shuhua just continued to stare

Soojin continued to set up her little house but smiled when she saw Shuhua pick up a block too.

Soojin and Shuhua became inseparable since that day, not that Soojin had any other option, Shuhua was always waiting for her at recess, she knew they were an odd pair, the shy girl and the weird girl, the children in Shuhua's class didn't play with her, she was the kid with the accent, the kid who always got words and phrases mixed up.
