Adapting to a new life and a new reality outside of jail is not easy and Shuhua was lucky to have Soojin by her side for the first few months, it wasn´t easy to share a roof early on in the relationship but she needed a place to stay and Soojin was willing to help her get back on her feet, at first they each had their own room, they were still adapting to each other and personal space was needed so they didn't become too dependent on each other.

Having a room to herself was extremely necessary for Shuhua to deal with the frustrations of readjusting life outside the bars, finding a job with a criminal record was not very easy, Shuhua had applied for several different positions but no company wanted to hire an ex-prisoner, she had been looking for a job for months without success, she didn't feel good about depending on Soojin, even though her girlfriend didn't complain and always encouraged her not to give up, many times when Soojin arrived tired from work she found dinner ready in the kitchen and an angry Shuhua punching the punching bag she had hung in her bedroom

-Hey Shu, how was your day?

Shuhua stopped punching the bag and looked at Soojin

-Hey Jin ah, I delivered my resume to the recycling company, they didn't shoo me away at first so I think I have a chance

Soojin smiled at this and noticed some flowers thrown in the room's trash.

-Has something happened baobei?

Shuhua lowered her eyes

-I went to visit my older sister...

-Shu...

-It's okay, I understand her...

Shuhua went back to punching the boxing bag and Soojin sighed, Shuhua was trying to reestablish her relationships with her family after her release from prison but so far she had achieved nothing

-Baobei, why don't you join me in the bath?

Soojin hugged Shuhua from behind and kissed her back, caressing the parts of the wolf tattoo she could see

-That sounds very tempting

Shuhua smiled at Soojin and kissed her as they walked to the bathroom

It took months but Shuhua finally found a job, Mr Bae is an ex-cons who have built a successful businesses in the construction industry, he liked her record and as long as Shuhua worked hard and not cause any problems he had no reason to not hire her, in her new job she met people like her and little by little they became friends, especially Mr Park, the carpenter who worked with Mr Bae, he was a very serious and meticulous middle aged man who after months of watching Shuhua work he noticed that she could do well in carpentry, he was very happy to know that Shuhua was about to finish her studies and get her high school diploma and he offered her vocational training in carpentry which she happily accepted, as time went by Shuhua left her punching bag aside for carpentry projects and gradually she built Soojin's dream house

-How are things going with Soojin?

Shuhua smiled at Soyeon who was sitting at the kitchen counter, the ex hacker had gotten out of prison a few months ago and was living with Yuqi not far from their house, they all had busy lives but they made a point of getting together
