Lee Suhyeok won the first task  of the Triwizard Tournament and Hogwarts exploded in celebration, Miyeon saw Minnie and her sister talking to Rose, trying to cheer her up and for a few moments their eyes met, why did she have to be so beautiful?

Miyeon turned her attention to Yuqi

-Song Yuqi, what did you just say?

Yuqi gave Miyeon her famous puppy eyes

Yuqi and Soyeon looked at each other and Miyeon was pretty sure they were trying to have a telepathic conversation

Yuqi shrugged

-I know a guy who knows a guy

Miyeon turned her attention to Soojin

Soojin just shrugged

-It's not the first time and they'll be careful

-What do you mean this is not the first time?

Sana put her arm around Miyeon's shoulder

-Miyeon relax, I got your butterbeer

-I have to set an example for the kids

Sana winked at Yuqi and Soyeon and the three burst out laughing.

-If you get caught...

-Miyeon just relax and enjoy the party, starting tomorrow we will have busy days

Miyeon widened her eyes, she had forgotten that before the second task there would be the ball, Miyeon risked looking in Minnie's direction and to her surprise she was looking in her direction with an unreadable expression on her face, was Minnie looking at her? Suddenly some Beauxbatons students called out to Minnie and she looked away.

The announcement of the ball caused something of a panic in Miyeon, in addition to her functions as Head girl she would take N.E.W.T.s at the end of the year so to say she was busy was an understatement

"Dress robes will be worn, and the ball will start at eight o'clock on Christmas Day, finishing at midnight in the Great Hall. Now then — The Yule Ball is of course a chance for us all to — er — let our hair down. But that does NOT mean, that we will be relaxing the standards of behaviour we expect from Hogwarts students. I will be most seriously displeased if a Gryffindor student embarrasses the school in any way."

Professor McGonagall said at the first meeting of the ball's organizing committee and while some of her classmates were worried about their abilities to find dates Miyeon was more worried about who Minnie would go to the ball with, the few times she saw Minnie in the castle corridors she was always surrounded by boys and girls of all kinds and according to Nayeon, Soyeon's Quidditch teammate, she already said no to a few students.

In the weeks leading up to the ball Miyeon kept herself busy, the proximity of the event was making her nervous and she only had time to think about Minnie when she put her head on the pillow, she knew that Minnie still didn't have a date for the ball thanks to Shuhua. Soojin's crush had turned out to be a fun company with her cute accent and strong personality, despite her busy schedule Miyeon always found a way to talk to Soojin and Shuhua at night in the common room. Soojin and Shuhua, despite being completely opposite, complemented each other in a unique way, at first Miyeon was afraid that Soojin would end up getting hurt by this flingy? but as she got to know Shuhua better she could see that her feelings for Soojin were real and she felt hypocritical for judging Shuhua when she harbored feelings for her sister

Miyeon left the alchemy class with a slight headache, she couldn't wait for the ball to happen and she had more time to rest, she was checking the time on her watch when a small commotion caught her attention, it was Rose and some Beauxbatons students including Minnie, her heart pounded harshly against her ribcage as Minnie walked past her

-Why does she have to be so pretty?

So, as if she heard what Miyeon said Minnie looked at Miyeon with a mischievous gleam in her eye and gave her a big smile as she walked with her friends

-Man, you got it bad, don’t you?

Soyeon said when she saw Miyeon's red face

-It’s just a crush

-Uh-huh

-I think you should be more concerned about asking Yuqi to the ball before Yiren asks her

Soyeon widened her eyes and ran away.

Miyeon was working on her potions homework when a familiar sound caught her attention

-UNNIE

A disheveled Soojin appeared in front of her

-What happened?

-A fight, Yuqi and some Durmstrang students

-Where?!

-In the east wing hallway

Miyeon followed Soojin through the halls with a heavy heart, the idea of Yuqi getting seriously hurt or even being expelled for that made her even more nervous.

-Do you know if they called any teachers?

-I asked them not to call any teacher, you know how Yuqi's record is

-You did good, we can't take the risk

They walked through some corridors and when they reached the east wing Miyeon was surprised by the silence

-Where are all the students?
