Friday night movie marathons and constant conversations

We share chores and clothes and we brush our teeth together before bed

Oh god I think I like domestic life with my best friend

I met Yeh Shuhua when we were kids, our mothers had enrolled us into the same dance class, I was the shy girl who didn't talk to anyone while Shuhua was the talkative girl who no one understand what she said due to her accent, I never talked to her until the teacher paired up  us at a Mother's Day presentation, after that we became friends and we never parted again, when we both entered the same university we decided to live together in an apartment near campus.

-Are you sure you want to live with Shuhua?

My older sister asked me while we were packing my bags.

-What do you mean by that unnie?

-Sometimes living together can ruin a friendship

-There's nothing that can ruin our friendship

-Even the fact that you like her?

-What? You know that Shuhua and I are only friends!

The university classes were harder than I imagined and if it wasn't for Shuhua's presence I think I would have already freaked out, despite her being extremely messy with her math books scattered around the apartment and her aversion to washing dishes she made me laugh and it kept me fed when I was studying like crazy. We made some friends too, Yuqi studied with Shuhua and Minnie, Miyeon and Soyeon were from my composition class, we went with them to some parties but honestly? As much as I loved dancing I preferred to stay at home with Shuhua watching movies, series and testing late night cooking recipes

I had forgotten the conversation I had with my sister about liking Shuhua until the day I failed an exam, I had studied all week non-stop and still failed, I felt stupid and for the first time I had the feeling that I had chosen the wrong profession, I don't know how I got back home, I was so upset with my  grade that when I realized I was on my couch sitting on Shuhua's lap while she tried to calm me down.

- It was just the first exam Jin ah I'm sure you'll do better next time

-I'm so dumb

-Hey don't talk like that about my best friend! You're the smartest person I know and I know you'll get your grades back

-Do you believe in me that much?

-Of course, you are the best person in the world

Shuhua answered me while wiping my tears, making me smile

-Thanks Shu, you always know how to cheer me up

Shuhua answered me with a goofy grin on her face and that was the moment I felt something on my stomach and a big urge to kiss her… my sister was right, I'm in love with Shuhua

-Jin ah, how about I make you a chocolate mousse?

Shuhua asked as she caressed my face making my stomach turn

-Really?

-Yes, but you have to promise me you won't cry anymore
