Shuhua sighed nervously as she looked at the box of chocolates in her hands, she had spent a good part of her allowance trying to make the perfect chocolates to give to Seo Soojin and after several failed recipes she had finally got it right. She had a crush on Soojin since freshman year, Soojin is beautiful, kind, friendly, she is the captain of the girls' basketball team and many boys and girls had tried to gain her affections and woo her, but none succeeded. While Soojin had admirers of all kinds Shuhua went unnoticed, she was captain of the debate team and one of the best students in the school, maybe it was crazy to give Soojin the chocolates but Shuhua had to try

Shuhua walked towards the school basketball court, trying to get past all the buzzing students who were carrying gifts for their loved ones, all the way she kept repeating what she wanted to say to Soojin while trying not to pass out from nervousness.

Shuhua's eyes widened when she heard Soojin's fans screaming to get her attention, classes were already over and she thought it would be easier to talk to Soojin, but it seemed that she was wrong

-Soojin ssi, please accept my gifts

Shuhua just stood in the door of the basketball court as she saw Soojin's teammates making fun of her because of the fans.

-Shut up, let's finish our training

Soojin said and the team went back to training. Shuhua hid behind the bleachers and watched the training, as soon as the coach ended the training, the fans who were waiting for Soojin invaded the court and went to deliver gifts to her

-Maybe this is not a good idea.

Shuhua said as she looked at the chocolates in her hands, she continued hiding behind the bleachers, watching Soojin talking to her fans and to her surprise they all walked off the court with a sad expression on their faces and their gifts in their hands

-She didn't accept any gifts?

The fans left and Soojin and the team went to the locker room to change clothes. While the basketball team was changing Shuhua decided to go to Soojin's locker, maybe it would be better to just give her the card, she tried to put the card there but it looked like there was something blocking the passage

-What will I do now?

Shuhua tried to put the card a few more times and nothing, then she decided to wait for Soojin and give her the chocolates and the card. It didn't take long for Soojin walk into her locker with her best friends, she opened her locker and an entire pile of letters and boxes of chocolates fell to the ground

-How did they manage to get all that in there?

Soojin picked up the letters and read them one by one as if looking for something.

Minnie asked as she helped Soojin pick up the gifts

They watched in silence as Soojin throws the letters in the trash

Soojin asked as she looked at the names on the boxes

-Were you expecting to receive something from someone special?
