When Soojin imagined herself studying Dance at college she didn´t imagine doing calculations late at night at her favorite coffee shop, but her parents had insisted that she do a few more subjects, just in case, and now she was late at night studying Calculus 03, at least the shop was quiet, there were few customers and she could study in peace, she had discovered that cafe a few months ago and since then whenever she could she would sit at her favorite table and study, not only for the wonderful coffee they serve but because of Shuhua, the cute and clumsy barista who served her. Shuhua is younger than her and had a cute accent, at first she didn't talk to Soojin much, just asked her order but one day she saw Soojin with difficulty in a subject and ended up helping her with the homework, turns out she studied physics at the same college as Soojin, she had received a scholarship and had moved from Taiwan, that´s why she has a cute accent and is shy to talk to strangers.

Soojin had some difficulty in making friends due to her shyness but Shuhua awakened a sense of calm in her and soon both became friends, Soojin started to go to the coffee shop at the times when Shuhua worked even though the Taiwanese distracted her more than helping her to study, Soojin could not stop smiling whenever she saw Shuhua carrying the trays biting her lips focused on not dropping orders, unfortunately this had happened a few times because Shuhua was really clumsy and Soojin had to hold on to her chair to not fight with stupid customers when they cursed Shuhua.

 - What are you doing?

- Calculus 03

Soojin say, pulling a face

-It’s due tomorrow?

-Yes

-Well, I have to take my break then

Shuhua signaled to Miyeon, one of the other attendants and sat down at Soojin's table

-What are you having difficulties with?

-You don't need to spend your break helping me Shu, I know you must be tired

-Nonsense Jin ah, let me see

Soojin handed over her notebook and smiled when she saw Shuhua's concentrated face '' She's even more beautiful up close ''

Shuhua spends the next few minutes explaining to Soojin what she should do to solve the equations and when she has to go back to work Soojin practically finished her homework, she wouldn't be able to explain why but when Shuhua explained the equations they seemed much simpler

Whenever Soojin goes to the coffee shop Shuhua is smiling so when she enters the shop and sees the girl with a sad face she became worried, she approaches the counter and noticed that Shuhua gives her a fake smile but the coffee shop is full and she can't ask Shuhua what is going on so she sits at the table waiting for her, after some time Shuhua delivers her order

-Shu, is everything okay?

-It´s my mother's birthday today ... I think I'm missing home

-Did you speak to your mother today?

-I talked to her, but it's not the same

-What do you usually do on her birthday?

-We always go to the movies, my mom used to act when she was younger so my dad always takes us to the movies to celebrate

Before they could talk more, more customers arrived at the coffee shop so Shuhua has to go and serve them, Soojin then decides to find a way to cheer her up

Soojin waits until Shuhua's shift ends and approaches her

-Shu, do you have anything to do now?

-No, I would go to the dorm with Miyeon, why?

-Do you want to hang out with me?

-Now?

-Only if you aren´t too tired

-That sounds good, what do you have in mind?

-It´s a surprise

Shuhua finally smiles genuinely and runs to change, Miyeon just smiles at Soojin
