It´s been two years since Shuhua saw her family,  with the COVID outbreak it was impossible for foreign students to visit their families and get back in time for classes so she had to stay in the dorm, which made her very upset because she couldn't celebrate Christmas with her family, her girlfriend Soojin couldn't stand to see Shuhua so sad so she made it her mission to make sure Shuhua felt happy and appreciated during the Christmas festivities, not only she but Minnie and Yuqi who couldn't visit their families either.

Soojin, Miyeon and Soyeon decided to have a Christmas party in  Soojin and Soyeon´s dorm, most of their neighbors were visiting their families so they wouldn't bother anyone, Soojin also called Mrs. Yeh and asked what they used to do for Christmas celebrations and Mrs. Yeh promised to send a box to her with something Shuhua would miss, Soojin found it strange that her mother-in-law didn't reveal what it was but she had more important things to worry about, they bought drinks, ordered the dinner, decorated the entire dorm and when Mrs. Yeh's box arrived the only thing she needed to do was tell Shuhua about the party.

Soojin carried the box to the dorm that Shuhua shared with Yuqi and knocked on the door.

-Jin ah?

Shuhua looked confused at Soojin as she opened the door for her girlfriend to enter the dorm with a box.

-Good night baobei, were you sleeping?

-I ended up falling asleep with this cold weather and snow falling, what's in that box?

Shuhua asked curiously as they both sat on her bed

-Well, I noticed that you were sad because you couldn't celebrate Christmas and your birthday with your family so we organized a mini party in our dorm

-WHAT? REALLY?

Shuhua put her hand to in surprise and Soojin opened a huge smile

-Almost everything is ready, we just have to fetch the dinner that we ordered tomorrow

Shuhua threw herself at her girlfriend

-Thank you thank you thank you

Soojin just hugged her tight and kissed her head

-You deserve all this and more

Shuhua turned her attention to the box.

-And what is this?

-Well I called your mother and asked what was your family's Christmas tradition, she didn't want to tell me what it was but she sent us a box

Shuhua was looking at the box with wide eyes

-You don't even know what's in that box?

-Why? Is it something bad?

-You'll see

Shuhua started to open the box, she undid the tape and pulled it open, she smirked as Soojin tried to understand what was coming out of the box, her eyes widening as Shuhua showed her what it was

-WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?

 It was probably the ugliest sweater Soojin had ever seen, it was green with half of a brown reindeer vomiting Christmas ornaments that were attached to the sweater

-What do you think?

-It's the ugliest sweater I've ever seen

-But why would you wear that?

-This started a few decades ago with my grandfather, he really wanted to give my grandmother a Christmas present but he didn't have any money so he knitted a sweater for her all by himself, the problem is that he didn't know how to knit and the sweater turned out ugly... some relatives made fun of him but my grandmother didn't care that the sweater was ugly and started using it every Christmas, she ended up making ugly sweaters for her children and it became a family tradition
