When Shuhua was kicked out of her pack she could never have imagined where she'd be at this moment, she was lying in a hospital bed with Soojin while they held their pups in their arms, one boy and one girl, as they cuddled close together.

-They are so perfect

Soojin said as the little boy yawned softly

-She looks just like you Jin ah

Shuhua couldn’t stop staring at them in disbelieving awe, love for their little ones, when they were born she expected to see two little balls of fur just like Minnie and Miyeon's children but their pups were practically human, the only thing that indicated their werewolf lineage were their pointy ears and their sharp claws

-Thank you

Soojin looked at her in surprise.

-Why are you thanking me?

-You made me the happiest woman in the world

Soojin smiled and gave her a peck

-I love you

Between constant feedings and midnight wake up calls the first few weeks with the twins were chaotic, Shuhua had become even more overprotective and the only person she let near Soojin and the children was her mother-in-law. They didn't know much about raising hybrids too, mixed-race children were not uncommon, they had contact with with interspecies couples who had kids but each couple had different experiences with their children, even the werewolves, they found some books that addressed the subject but there were too many variables, that´s when they realized that they would have to rely on their own intuition when it came to Soobin and Hayun. The Yeh twins like the others wolf babies needed a lot of warmth, they could feel the pull of the full moon just like Shuhua and they got more restless during the period, their eyes would turn yellow just like Shuhua and the hair on their bodies became more apparent. Soobin unlike his sister was calmer, he only cried when he was hungry or wanted Shuhua, he missed her during the day and when Shuhua came home from work he would cry if he left her arms, meanwhile Hayun was rowdy and loud, she was a strong and independent baby, she wasn't as clingy as her brother but when Shuhua had the late shift she could only sleep if she slept clutching one of Shuhua's t-shirts, her mama's smell soothed her

Soojin now worked as an independent architect, for years she had worked at a firm and she enjoyed working there but when she and Shuhua finally decided to have a baby she preferred to leave the firm, they didn't know if their baby would be like Miyeon's and there would be no way to explain to her co-workers why their baby was a wolf. They had set up an office for her in their house and she consulted for some companies when the babies were asleep or Shuhua and her mother were at home, she pumped her milk during the day and when Shuhua arrived she took over primary care of the babies while she checked her projects, it was tiring and stressful but they made it work
