An earlier post

They had miles and miles until they got to Halmeoni Kim house inside the Seoraksan National Park, after decades living in Seoul as soon she became a widow Halmeoni Kim moved to the mountains where she grew up. JiSoo was driving and singing along to the radio with her now wife Jennie, in the backseat Shuhua’s head rested on her girlfriend’s shoulder while Soojin silently watches the scenery go by, smiling softly because of the view, she had been dating Shuhua for two years and she could tell that her relationship with her family had improved, despite not having an official blessing from the Yeh Soojin had a good relationship with them, especially with Shuhua's mother, they shared a passion for cooking and whenever she could Soojin helped with the YehKim's dinner, she was definitely closer to JiSoo and Yuqi but she Irene and Handong got along well now, or at least they didn't play pranks on her anymore, she had also met Eugene and Sandara, the oldest sisters were extremely busy but the few times they saw each other they were very receptive, Eugene's daughters were traveling with them this time, Ki Rohee and Ki Rorin were 05 and 03 years old respectively and they are the pride of the family, the sisters were traveling with them in Mr Yeh's car, both girls found it extremely curious that their aunt Jin don't have powers and every time they met Rohee filled Soojin with questions about the human world which clearly annoyed the rest of the aunts, they were always vying for the position of favorite aunt.

They were following Mr Yeh's car along a stone road for hours and the only thing Soojin could see were trees and mountains, they were driving into the mountain and Soojin understood why Sandara and Chaerin decided to stay in Seoul, Chaerin was 8 months pregnant with twins and it would be uncomfortable and risky for them to travel to halmeoni Kim's house, suddenly Soojin noticed that all the occupants of the car started to move and Shuhua gave her a big smile

-What?

-We arrived

They pull into a driveway littered with fallen leaves and flanked by huge trees and granite walls that seemed to move as they passed, the driveway curves around, and then a traditional korean house comes into view, she was definitely well hidden in the middle of the mountains

-Where is she?

An excited Shuhua tried to stretch to get a better look as JiSoo parked her car next to Seulgi's, JiSoo and Jennie quickly got out of the car and Shuhua looked at Soojin, who looked nervous

-Jin ah, are you alright?

-Just nervous, it will be the first time I meet your halmeoni since she couldn´t go to JiSoo's wedding

-It's gonna all be okay, she's gonna love you

They exited the vehicle, clasping hands and walked towards the other family members

-Halmeoni?!

-Where are you?!

Yuqi and JiSoo shouted in opposite directions  while Soojin smiled as she saw that Rorin was asleep in Mrs Yeh's arms.

-I wonder if halmeoni is deaf now, should we buy her a hearing aids?

As soon as JiSoo said that, a strong gust of wind knocked her down and she fell on her on the ground.

-Halmeoniiiiiii

JiSoo laughed and Soojin looked at Shuhua confused

-Wait where is she?

-Halmeoni has the ability to conjure and control the elements of earth, fire, wind, water…

Lightning and thunder echoed through the skies

-And even lightning, show off

Yuqi teased and as if carried by unseen forces Soojin noticed when a lady with long white hair approached flying through the trees, she was smaller than her granddaughters but her aura screamed power

-GOJO

Rorin had woken up to the thunder and flew towards halmeoni Kim and while everyone was laughing Soojin felt her heart leap out of , as much as she had seen Rorin fly she couldn't get used to the idea of a 3 year old flying around, she couldn't help but wonder if her children with Shuhua would have powers too

-If Shuhua generates a baby even if the donor is human there is a high chance he has powers

Soojin looked to the side as Mrs Yeh answered her question.

-And yes, she would be a beautiful pregnant.

-Eomma, stop reading Jin ah's thoughts 

A blushing Shuhua said but before Mrs. Yeh could respond halmeoni Kim approached everyone, greeting them with kisses and hugs until she stopped in front of Soojin who immediately bowed.

-Good morning Mrs Kim, my name is Seo Soojin, it's a pleasure to finally meet you

The woman looked Soojin over before giving a nod

-Well, my Piggy does have good taste, are you sure you are not a witch?
