Fifteen years ago

-Jin ah, are we doing the right thing?

Soojin smiled wistfully at her

-Yes we are, but it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t hurt…

Both had tears in their eyes and Shuhua threw herself into Soojin's arms who hugged her tightly.

-It's not for lack of love baobei...

-Can we cuddle like this for the rest of the day?

-Of course, baobei, I want to hug you until it's time for you to go

Soojin hugged her girlfriend and tried to remember Shuhua's scent, they dated all through high school, Shuhua was her first everything and Soojin was sure she was the love of her life but Shuhua had won a scholarship to a prestigious Japanese college and Soojin had passed the audition at The Royal Ballet School, they would move to different countries and decided to end their relationship amicably but with the promise that  maybe, someday, if they met again, they could try again

Current days

Soojin had just finished teaching her last class and decided to go to her favorite coffee shop to get something to eat before going home, as soon as she walked in she could see that there were more people than usual so she would order to go, she was about to go to the counter when she bumped into somebody

-Sorry

She said, not paying attention to a person she bumped into

-Jin ah?

Soojin stopped and turned around, it´s Shuhua, and she looks the same even her granny clothes, it’s been years since she’s seen her and the last place she would have thought of seeing Shuhua again would be in that coffee shop

-Hey Shu

Shuhua just gave her a big smile and pulled her into a bone crushing hug, the nostalgic smell of peaches enveloping Soojin, a feeling of homesickness so strong that it made Soojin's heart leap out of her chest, when they pulled apart, both woman just stared at each other
