Neverland is a pretty little place a little out of the way of the main city with a surprisingly warm and welcoming vibe, it was a Taiwanese food restaurant and despite not having any Michelin Star, all the people who passed by the restaurant became regular customers.

Shuhua sat at her desk planning the new menu, it was almost closing time and most of the staff had already left, she liked to vary the menu and most of her assistants were used to her trying new recipes and she always asked the input of her sous-chefs and apprentices before closing the menu

-Tonight was a success Chef Shu, only praise for the taste of your food, as always

A soft voice said and Shuhua smiled as she saw Soojin, she was one of the waitress in Neverland´s and she always made Shuhua´s heart beat faster when she praised her, Soojin was a part-time dancer who worked at the restaurant, living in Seoul was expensive and while she didn't get her big break in the dance world she made Shuhua's days better

-Really? I'm glad to hear that Soojin

Soojin walked over and smiled when she saw the chef's notes

-New menu for next week?

-Yes, I hope the costumers likes the new menu

-Of course they will

Soojin said encouragingly making Shuhua blush harder as she carried the last of the dirty dishes to the sink, Shuhua´s eyes followed her around the kitchen until she realized that Yuqi, her sous-chef was giving her a knowing look

-Ask her out

Yuqi spoke quietly and nodded towards Soojin who was now piling the dirty dishes in the sink, but Shuhua just shook her head and went back to looking at the papers in front of her, she didn't have time to get involved with anyone, she had a restaurant to lead. Later that night when she was at home reading recipes and trying new flavor combinations she couldn't help but remember the charming smile Soojin had given her when she asked the waitress to try a new recipe, she would always create new dishes if her reward was Soojin's smile

The next few weeks passed without much change, Shuhua prided herself on having a good relationship with her staff which made the kitchen work, they had become friends and they all embraced Neverland as their own, as for Soojin she was her "guinea pig" of the new recipes, Soojin always had a sincere opinion and a smile on her face when she tried something new, Shuhua also took that moment to learn more about Soojin and her dance auditions, she had gotten a part-time job at a dance academy and was very excited about it

-Does that mean you're going to abandon us?

Soojin looked at the chef in surprise

-And lose all that free food? I don't know how to fry an egg to survive

-SOOJIN
