Yeh Shuhua couldn't believe that she had made it to the Olympics, years of training and she would finally compete for the Korean basketball team, she was born into a Taiwanese immigrant family and played basketball since she was little, her father had always pushed her to be the best and now she had made it, she was in the Olympics. The Korean basketball team had qualified for the final that would take place the next day and Shuhua should have been resting but unlike her teammates she was in the stands with her eyes fixed on the mat because Seo Soojin, her best friend and crush was fighting the taekwondo final. The two met as children, despite training different sports they attended the same multi-sport center and became friends when Soojin defended Shuhua from some girl who made fun of her accent, since them they encouraged each other not to give up and train harder, they made a point of rooting for each other in each championship, they always had the dream of playing an Olympics together and now it had come true. Soojin's fight was well balanced and Shuhua was holding back not to bite all of her nails out of nervousness, Soojin's opponent had almost unbalanced her but Soojin managed to recover and knocked her opponent down making the whole stadium scream with her victory, Shuhua made her victory dance while the referee declared Soojin the winner, her cell phone exploded with messages especially from Soojin's family, they were all following her final from home, Shuhua answered everyone's messages and took pictures of the medal ceremony, she was extremely proud of Soojin and couldn't wait to congratulate her, as Soojin rose to the podium to receive the gold medal their eyes met and Soojin laughed aloud as she saw Shuhua, her heart beating faster while she watched her best friend and crush dance in the stands.

Soojin finished her shower and tucked her medal into her backpack, she left the locker room and was surprised to find Shuhua waiting for her

-Shu?!

-Congratulations golden girl

Shuhua hugged her tightly and Soojin hugged her back, the delicious scent of peach invading her senses

-I thought Coach Bae wouldn't let you come, the final is tomorrow morning

-For all intents and purposes I'm resting in the room with Minnie

-Shu, you can get in trouble with the coach

Shuhua just shrugged

-I don't care, It was worth it to watch you win, I'm so proud of you Jin ah

Shuhua opened a huge smile and Soojin turned extremely red, looking down

-Thank you Shu, it means a lot to me to have your support

-I wouldn't lose this fight for anything

Shuhua's cell phone started beeping and when she saw the message her eyes widened

-

-What's it?

-Looks like the coach is heading back to the dorms, I have to go, bye Jin ah

Shuhua turned to leave the locker room but Soojin grabbed her wrist

-Wait

-What happened Jin ah?

-I know I won't get to see you again until after your final so…

Soojin pulled her into a hug and gave a kiss on her cheek
