Chapter 37

When Seunghyun was 5 years old his mother told him something that would stay with him for his whole life: “laughter is like a melody of the heart.” As fluffy as it was, Seunghyun had made it a point to make everyone laugh when he could. He loved the sound of melodies.

By the time he had debuted in Big Bang, he had made it a goal to ensure a good time and laughter to every member, stage hand, co-worker, underling, and boss. He didn’t like being in a room filled with silence. Although he was still shy and a little awkward in meeting new people, as soon as he made them laugh things changed. He felt as though laughter was that common ground that everyone needed to make new friends.

When Big Bang had done their first interview he was so camera shy that for that full hour, he was unable to make a joke. s had told him it would be okay but he didn’t think so. He had failed to bring laughter to the people who would give him unconditional love. It was the one type of melody that was different to each person. He wanted to gift it but he had failed. He would make up for it though. Throughout the days, months and years he would cause laughter from his fans, family, and members. The laughter of ’s were a little more special though.

Seungri’s laugh was borderline obnoxious with a hint of dramatics. His laughter reflected his person whole heartedly, loud yet loving. It wasn’t often that Seunghyun was able to get a true laugh out of the youngest but every time he did his heart swelled up in pride. It gave Seunghyun that little bit of hope. If laughter was a melody, then Seungri’s was the refrain.

Daesung’s laugh was as sweet as he was. When being filmed his laughter could be as obnoxious as Seungri’s but off film you could hear the humble laughter. He laughed at almost everything Seunghyun did, whether funny or not. His laughter was his support during any situation. If Seungri’s laughter was the refrain, then Daesung’s laugh was the verse.

Taeyang’s laughter was honest. He never laughed if he thought it wasn’t funny though he would show support with a warm smile. It tended to be harder to make Youngbae laugh then Seungri but at the same time it wasn’t. Youngbae’s humor was simple. His laugh was encouraging in the toughest of times, especially when Seunghyun felt all of his funny had run out. His laugh made him want to become more then just a joke. If Seungri’s laughter was the refrain, and Daesung’s laugh was the verse, then Youngbae’s laugh was the chorus.

G-Dragons laugh was different from every other laugh. It shined brighter then any form of laughter he had ever heard before. When Seunghyun first heard the boy’s laughter he instantly knew that it was a sound he wanted to hear for the rest of his life. While the other members held certain qualities in their laughter, Jiyong held them all. His laugh brought on hope, support, and encouragement. Standing alone, his laughter also brought inspiration. There were many times just hearing the younger mans laughter would bring on inspiration, lyrics, or compositions for his next song. 

Seunghyun loved the sound of their leader’s voice. It’s the reason why when Jiyong had asked what attracted Seunghyun to him he honestly replied “I like your laugh.”

If Seungri’s laughter was the refrain, Daesung’s laugh was the verse, and Youngbae’s laugh was the chorus, then Jiyong's laugh was the song.

Confession time: I honestly don't remember their first interview but I don remember how quiet T.O.P was in the beginning. I was going to take the time and find it and look it up but obviously that didn't happen. If it did then we wouldn't be having this lovely confession time.

Now that that is out of the way, I hope you guys like this chapter. I actually had to look up parts of the song because I could not remember. The order of the songs parts are actually the order of my least favorite parts to my favorite but those three parts are the part of the songs that I actually know well (Other then the runs... those are my actual favorites.) I didn't know which way this chapter would go but I think it turned out pretty well. What do you think?

I'm glad you guys liked the last chapter. I had toyed around with the idea but I didn't know where to test it out at. I will most def have a chapter by the remaining two members in the near future. I'll try not to disappoint.
