Jiyong was tired, they both were. Seunghyun looked at the clock on the dash bored and sighed. They had been driving for 2 full hours and they had about 2 hours or so left before reaching their destination. How were they supposed to know Jiyong would miss an exit and not realize it until last minute? It was already 4 in the morning. The others would be mad, they were supposed to meet at 5. He would have to call and let them know they would be late.   

“Ji, are you okay?” The car swerved with the sudden distraction and Seunghyun felt his heart drop a little as Jiyong straightened the car.

“I’m fine, don’t worry about me.”

Seunghyun worried even more at the statement. How could he not? Jiyong had an early and busy day with the filming of Infinite Challenge and he had gotten so little sleep the past few weeks with the tour going on. They were both sleep deprived but Jiyong was worse for wear.

Silence surrounded the two until Seunghyun felt the car swerve again. He glanced to the driver and his worry increased. Jiyong’s eyes were blood shot, as if he hadn’t slept for months, and he held his eyes open wide in attempts to stay awake. 

“Jiyong, pull over. Let me drive the rest of the way.”

The car jerked and Seunghyun gripped the handle of the car door. He knew that Jiyong was surprised by the comment. Seunghyun hated to drive, he hated it with a passion. The only time he drove was when he was forced to because no one else around him could drive for him. He didn’t care about his preferences right now though. Jiyong needed some sleep and the least he could do is get behind he wheel so Jiyong could rest his eyes. Seunghyun wished he had taken the wheel an hour ago.

Jiyong glanced at his lover through the corner of his eyes and nodded as he moved the car over to the side of the road. He watched silently as Seunghyun unbuckled his seatbelt and got out of the car, walking to the driver’s side as Jiyong crawled over the middle. His eyes remained glued to the new driver as he adjusted the mirrors and mover his seat back as far as it allowed.

Once Seunghyun had everything the way he liked it he turned to look at Jiyong. He smiled at the stunned look on his face and gently pushed his lovers head back until it was fully rested on the seat.

“Close your eyes and get some sleep.”

Jiyong was sleep as soon as his eyes shut.
