C104- There Must Be Problems

The next day, Kwon Jiyong left early in the morning. Not too long after Sandara Park woke up, she received Jiyong call. He informed her that he still had to go back to the office to finish up the conference that was left incomplete. He requested for her to wait at home during the day, as he wanted to send something over to her.

Sandara Park asked what it was that he wanted to send over, but Kwon Jiyong did not tell her, and merely said, “You’ll know when it arrives.”

Surprisingly, the famed cold and heartless CEO had learned how to be mysterious too.

Just like that, Sandara Park spent her afternoon in suspense. It wasn’t until one o’clock in the afternoon that the doorbell rang.

She thought that it was Kwon Jiyong men, but when she opened the door, it was Gong Minzy standing outside of it.

“Don’t you have the password to my apartment? Why didn’t you just come in?” Sandara Park asked.

Minzy chuckled. “I heard from the security guards that a man had come home with you last night and didn’t come out from there the entire night. I figured it was Mr. Kwon, so I was worried that I would see something that I shouldn’t, should I barge in.”

Sandara Park rolled her eyes. “It’s so late in the day, what is there that you shouldn’t see?”

“Oh, you never know.” Minzy mischievously stuck out her tongue, but regained seriousness under Sandara Park firm stare. “Miss Park, I bought everything you asked me to buy.”

As Gong Minzy said that, she took out the equipment that she had paid a hefty price for, displaying it for SandarabPark to see.

“This is the pinhole camera, this is the mini tracker, the user guides are all in here.”

Sandara Park accessed the equipment that was so small, they were hard to detect. She nodded in approval. “Not bad.”

Minzy glanced at Sandara. “Miss Park, are you sure she will do that? If we fail, then won’t we lose everything?”

Sandara Park snickered. “A person can do amazing things when they’re backed into a corner. Baek Insoo has great self-restraint, but at this point in time, she may look calm and collected on the surface, but underneath the surface, a tsunami is brewing. She will go and check whether what I said was true. The moment she checks that what I said is true, and Sodam has really been found, then she definitely will not stay a sitting duck. Unless she is truly innocent, she will definitely find a way to deal with me.”

Gong Minzy nodded. “But she’s just one person unless she hires someone with money, but that’s not trustworthy, nor reliable at all. It’s a world where money can buy you anyone, and you definitely have more than her. Besides, you have Mr. Kwon on your side; it won’t be easy for her to deal with you.”

Sandara Park smiled, her smile looked though there was nothing bothering her at all. “So, I’ve always suspected that there’s someone helping her. Otherwise, how could she, a woman from a small town, tamper with Sodam and Dad’s DNA tests all by herself back then? It wasn’t that Dad did not suspect something, he even specially dug into the situation himself, but the result that he got still said that Sodam wasn’t his daughter. Not too long later, Sodam went missing. How can it be such a coincidence?”
 
Minzy just felt that it was extremely terrifying that they could harm and kill someone while leaving absolutely no trace of it behind.

“Thank goodness that Miss Sodam a blessed person, and she was found by Mr. Kwon.” Gong Minzy  chuckled.

Sandara Park lowered her head, looking at the table, her eyes shimmering with something. Her smile seemed a little bitter. “Yes, thank goodness Sodam is safe.”

Right then, Sandara Park bell rang again, and Minzy rushed to open the door for her. She saw Youngbae coming over with a suitcase in hand.

Gong Minzy was stunned. “What’s this for?’

Dong Youngbae seemed exasperated, “This is what my boss wanted to give Miss Park.”

Sandara Park then remembered that Kwon Jiyong had mentioned that he wanted to send her some things. In the end, when the suitcase was opened, what laid within was a huge variety of male T-shirts from several luxury brands.

“Boss said, that the T-shirt Miss Park lent to him was very comfortable, so he wore it and left. He knows that Miss Park likes them, so he bought all these for you.”

Sandara was completely speechless as she looked at the entire suitcase worth of men’s T-shirts. Where did Kwon Jiyong EQ go?

At dinner, Baek Insoo seemed a bit out of it. At the dining table, Madam Park and Park Sungwoo both were eating quietly, while Insoo just stayed there, a pair of chopsticks poking back and forth in the rice bowl and nothing getting picked up for a long time. The chopsticks touched the rim, making a high-pitched sound.

Madam Park finally got impatient. “Eat your meal, otherwise leave the table! What are you doing making all that noise?”

Ever since the night Sandara Park came for dinner, Madam Park mood had not improved. Everyone looked annoying to her, and she would yell at them whenever she was angry.

Baek Insoo looked up at Madam Park, as if she just woke up from a dream.

“What a wreck!” Madam Park glared at Baek Insoo displeased, before she threw the chopsticks on the table and left.

“What’s going on with you?” Park Sungwoo asked quietly after Madam Park left. Last time when Sandara Park mentioned Busan, although Baek Insoo claimed that it was unintentional, the kitchen servant she named did resign the very next day. How could there be such a coincidence in the world?

Hearing Park Sungwoo tone, Baek Insoo knew that he was still skeptical about her. Secretly clenching her teeth, Insoo looked up with a bright smile. “Nothing, I was just thinking about something.”

“What thing is it that makes you think so hard?”

It might be that Baek Insoo was nervous to begin with that she felt that every word out of Park Sungwoo mouth was inspecting her.

After pondering it carefully, she smiled and said, “I was thinking, the last time Dara came to the house, did she not like the dishes we prepared? I don’t think she was eating much.”

Hearing Baek Insoo talking about his daughter, Park Sungwoo eyes suddenly became softer. “But those were Dara's favorites.”

Baek Insoo face was full of patience. “When was the last time you and Dada had a good meal together? A person’s taste changes. Maybe her taste has changed a long time ago and we don’t know.”
