C72- A Hell Of The Day

Inside the car, Kwon Jeongmin had his eyes shut and eyebrows slightly scrunched up.

Rubbing her own shoulders, Han Hyejin spoke in a voice, “A hell of a day. What you just said in the hotel, what did that mean? Are you agreeing to Jiyong marrying Sandara Park? That woman’s background is not a good fit for our son! All that non-sense in her past, haven’t you seen enough on the Internet? Her mom’s adultery, her arrogance and bossiness, careless spending, bullying her step-mother and step-sister, complicated relationships with the Park Family, on and on. It’s making my head hurt just reading about it.”

Long story short, nothing anyone read about Sandara Park  online was good.

Kwon Jeongmin opened his eyes and looked straight ahead, “What else can I do other than agree to it? Your son has grown up now and I can’t control him anymore. I was a little surprised, however, by this Sandara Park. She does have a brain in her head.”

When she heard his husband complementing Sandara Park , Han Hyejin made a pouty face, “What about Jessica?”

Kwon Jeongmin sneered, “Don’t you mention that woman; she’s a brainless idiot!”

After being in the business world for so many years, Kwon Jeongmin was not a softy. He knew very well that one must always think for oneself first. He completely understood the reason why Jessica Jung was engaged in conspiracy in order to get Kwon Jiyonf. If she succeeded, Kwon Jeongmin  would have nothing to say, however, she failed. She failed because of her over-confidence and self-righteous arrogance. If things played out as she had planned, Jessica Jung could have won the approval of Kwon Jeongmin  and his wife. Based on her family background, her movie star charisma, and her good reputation, she had a real shot at marrying into the Kwon Family.

She had lost her chance.

Kwon Jeongmin would only accept two kinds of women. One kind were those extremely innocent, kind, harmless women who needed the protection of men, like his wife Han Hyejin. The other kind of women were smart, calm, decisive when challenged, and always had a good control of the situation. This second kind of women didn’t have to rely on men. They could even establish their own footing in the men’s world.

Obviously, Jessica Jung wanted to appear innocent and harmless, but at the same time, she wanted to play tricks. She was, in Madam Kwon words, a faker. That kind of women disgusted Kwon Jeongmin the most.

As for Sandara Park, Kwon Jeongmin didn’t have a conclusion yet. He still needed to wait and see.

Han Hyejin sighed. She actually liked Jesica Jung, but she was rather disappointed in her that day.

The entrance to the hotel was swamped by paparazzi. Protected by his own bodyguards, Kwon Jiyong walked out with Sandara Park in his arms and no one could get near them.
