Simon released your soft hands, as he sighed heavily. He lift his head up, and cackled. “I’m sorry Simon, it’s not you. It’s me,” you said, but Simon raised his hand to stop talking.

He turned away, broken hearted by your words. “Let’s break up.”

“Our love, did it not mean anything to you?” Simon asked, not able to face you. “It meant everything, it’s just…it’s better if we just break it off,” you answered, and Simon turned around to face you infuriated.

He grabbed both your shoulders, and then pulled you into a tight hug. Simon hugged you with his huge muscular arms, and breathed in that sweet smell of your hair. 

“You hurt me so bad, and you can’t even tell me the main reason why you’re breaking up with me. If it’s about you having a new man, I understand. Be happy,” Simon whispered in your right ear, then released you as he ran off.

You shouted after him, but Simon ignored you. He was deeply hurt, and just couldn’t turn back to face you.
