Hoseok was busy reading a report when Kyungsoo entered his office at Finite. “You wanted to see me?” his son asked. 

Hoseok set aside the report and motioned for his son to sit, “You’re seeing a girl. A girl you’re allowing to stay here.” Hoseok reached for the report that Julian had drafted, “She has spent quite a lot while she has been here,” Hoseok glanced over the report, “Room service, she’s subscribed to the gym free of charge, and I see she is also on our scholarship list.” He looked up, “Does this mean you’re serious?”

“Is it a problem that she’s poor?” Kyungsoo asked his father.

Hoseok smiled softly, “Not at all. I wish you had known me as a youth.”

“What?” Kyungsoo accepted the tea a waiter placed before him.

“Your father has his history,” Julian said from where he sat on the couches. “Your father does not oppose you dating this girl.”

Kyungsoo wasn’t surprised. His father was really liberal and if someone made a solid argument, his father could be swayed. He loved this about this father. His father was more understanding than his mother. His father seemed tough but he had a great heart.

“There’s somewhere I want to take you.” Hoseok said, “Just you, me and Julian. Do you have time?”

“We want to visit Lee Sung-kyung this weekend,” Kyungsoo told his father.

“Then how about Thursday and Friday? I don’t mind you missing school. You’re top of your class anyway.”
