Golden Quill - The Legacy (GQ2)“Sana what is wrong?” Sung-kyung could hear that her friend was upset.
“I hate your new friends,” Sana yelled into the phone. “Is this why you left home?”
“Did something happen at Finite?” Sung-kyung didn’t know what happened. Had Sana fought with people at Finite? “You need to keep a low profile.”
“Hah, is that all you have to say to me? You’re taking their side?”
Sung-kyung sighed, “What exactly happened?”
“Forget it. I can see now that you’re willing to sell your soul for a little chance to mix with the rich but I won’t do it. I’d rather go home and face those thugs.”
“Sana!” Sung-kyung stared at the phone, “She hung up on me.” Sung-kyung was about to phone her back when she received a text message.
“Tomorrow at midnight. Come to the factory on Route 7 – don’t tell anyone. Your sister is in great danger.”
Kyungsoo knocked on the door of Sana's private suite but there was no response. He glanced at his watch and realised it was already passed midnight. Was she asleep? Maybe she was sleeping? He knocked one last time before taking out his master access card. He debated the moral issues around entering someone's room without permission but then slipped the card into the reader and heard the beep as the door unlocked. The room was empty.
