Kai glanced at his watch, was that girl waiting for him? He had said they should have lunch, but then he had not said it as a definite right?
“Do you have somewhere better to be?” Chen noticed that his friend seemed distracted.
“Ani,” Kai sat on a bale of hay and gave them all his attention, “We can go tomorrow. That way we have ample time to update our schedules.”
“Actually that’s really not a lot of time,” Chanyeol said from where he played with his drums. “We just came out of being grounded.”
“What do you two have to say about this?” Kyungsoo asked Baekhyun and Sehun, but because they had made the deal with Kai and he had upheld his part by apologising to Lee Sung-kyung, they had no objections.
“So we can go then?” Kai stood as the first warning bell of the lunch period rang. “I will catch up with you guys later…I have some Student Body things to do…”
“Student Body things?” Chen frowned, “We can look forward to some great speeches once he’s President.”
Kai rushed back to the school building, maybe she had waited, but the cafeteria was empty. Damn it.
“Looking for someone?” Kyungsoo walked up behind him. “Did you have a lunch date or something?”
“Nah,” Kai slung his arm around his friend’s shoulder. “Let’s get to class.”
Kyungsoo decided to let it drop, but once again, Kai was hiding something.
