Kyungsoo stepped out of the car and stared up at the townhouse, “I have been here before.” He told Sehun.

“When?”  Sehun had never been here before. How did Kyungsoo know about this place? 

“Don’t you recognise the address? This is where Lee Sung-kyung stays.” Kyungsoo looked up and down the street. “What is this about?”

“It can’t be.” Sehun looked at the message from Kris again. 

“Are we here to meet Lee Sung-kyung? What could she possibly know about the Woo heir?”

Sehun was confused and didn’t know if he should tell Kyungsoo about Kris. He didn’t think it was a dangerous situation, but he had even more questions now. “We aren’t here to meet Lee Sung-kyung but I may be wrong…”

Kyungsoo walked up the stairs and rang the doorbell. The door was opened by the young man who he met the last time he’d been here with Kai. “Hello sir,” Kyungsoo bowed.

“We have been expecting you.” The man smiled briefly and held the door open. Kyungsoo glanced back at Sehun before he walked inside. Sehun followed and the door was locked. “Follow me.” The man said and walked ahead.

“I hope you know what you’re doing,” Kyungsoo whispered to Sehun as they followed the man into a study. “What the hell.” Kyungsoo saw Kris, “What are you doing here?”

“He is the Woo heir,” Sehun announced and Kyungsoo turned and stared at Kris.

“You?” he laughed, “It can’t be. You’re from Hong Kong…” he trailed off, “and Woo Minjae and Yerin have been in China.” He realised. "Aish, I knew there was something I didn't like about you." 

“I only found out today as well.” Sehun felt the need to reassure his friend. He hardly ever saw Kyungsoo in shock, now was one of those times.

Kris sat down and the man asked them to sit. “This is my HM, Tao." 

“You played us,” Kyungsoo said quietly. “I will congratulate you on that but you showed yourself too soon.” He picked up his phone.

“Who are you planning to call? Jongin ssi, your House Master?”

“Try my father or maybe I will call Lee Soo-hyuk directly and see how you fair then?”

“You won’t do that,” Kris said and seemed oddly confident.

“And why not?” Kyungsoo lowered his phone.

“Because you’re interested in what I have to say. I know you Jung Kyungsoo. You can't walk away from a good story.”
