“Isn’t this a little much?” Sana was bright red as the sleek black German car pulled in front of the university. How had she come from being just the average student to being dropped off like this?

“What?” Kyungsoo was distracted as he read the newspaper.

“Are you sure you’re in high school?” she continued to be amazed by this guy. He read more than one newspaper religiously and Sana learnt that he was top of his class. He worked at Finite and attended various events for his family. He made her feel lazy.

“Don’t even bother,” Kai said. “He’s always been this way.” Kai had also stayed at Finite and had found it very funny that she was there. He had gate-crashed dinner and Sana hadn’t got a chance to ask Kyungsoo about his uncle leaving. The two boys had seemed pretty despondent but they were back to normal this morning.

“You’re no different.” Sana eyed the good-looking boy who was reading a book on construction.

“Ah this is prep for when I’m President.” Kai said, “Oh are we here?” he made to get out.

“No, don’t get out!” Sana hadn’t told anyone about her other life. The life where she knew a bunch of rich kids and hung out with them.

“Now we have to get out.” Kyungsoo teased and he hopped out the car with Kai. Sana could feel eyes on her but she suspected people were more interested in the two good-looking guys in private school uniform. They kind of glowed in the early morning sun. They were all sorts of trouble and they enjoyed teasing her too much.

Kyungsoo slid the book bag over her shoulder loving how shy she seemed. “Are you embarrassed by us?” Kai had a hurt look on his face.

“You guys !” Sana turned around but Kyungsoo caught her bag and pulled her back, “Are you not going to kiss me goodbye?”

“I also want a kiss.” Kai stepped forward with a hopeful look on his face.

“Aish, don’t act smart and don’t call me.” Sana managed to escape but she could still see people staring at her. Yes, I’m dating a high school student. So what? He’s only one year younger than me. This is what she wanted to scream, but she just ducked her head and rushed to her class.

“She’s so cute,” Kai said as they got back into the car.

“Isn’t she?” Kyungsoo was smiling as he remembered how cute Sana had looked.

“So you’re serious?”

“I’m in high school,” Kyungsoo answered this way but he was serious. He was serious about most things.

“So did you see the month’s schedule?” Kai changed the subject, “It looks like the Woo Estate is calling for a Consortium meeting.”
