You're Dead
Golden Quill - The Legacy (GQ2)Sung-kyung stood frozen outside the morning room and heard all the arguing. This place was a madhouse. Ever since the news of Song Gaelin’s death, it had been one thing after the other. Family members turning on each other and death just treated like a business transaction. Lawyers and statements and even scheduling in time to inform Song Gaelin’s family that she had died. Seeing all of this, she had finally made up her mind. This was not the life she wanted to live. Death was not something that should be swept under the rug by the administrative broom.

“I have.” Sung-kyung stopped packing and stared across the room and out of the window, “Not only is your world way out of my reach, it is also a dangerous world. I just want to live quietly.”
“I see.”
“I am sorry Jongin ssi.”
“Before what happened I would have argued with you but you are right. My world is not for the faint-hearted and I need someone strong like omma.”
Sung-kyung felt tears well in her eyes but she quickly brushed them aside, the last thing she needed was for him to see how much this hurt her. “That’s right. This household needs a Song Gaelin and that is not me.” She finished packing and turned to face him. Kai handed her the books “I won’t need those anymore.”
Kai turned her around and placed the books into her backpack, “You never know.” He placed
