Hanbi was comfortably talking with Hyuk after VIXX’s concert when she felt a hand rest on her shoulder. She looked over and saw her friend Hongbin standing there glaring at Hyuk who quickly backed off of her.

“Can I talk to you for a second?” Hongbin asked Hanbi who looked over to Suyun. She nodded and Hanbi left somewhere with Hongbin. He led them into a prop storage room so they could talk in private but Hanbi was a little worried that if people found them then they would get the wrong idea.

“You guys were amazing.” Hanbi said nervously fidgeting with zipper on her military style jacket which was two sizes big for her but she loved the colour so much that she wore it almost constantly. The fans even told her to get a new jacket but she refused. Why would she throw out a perfectly fine piece of clothing just because it was too big for her? Besides, she was so skinny that most clothes barely fit her properly anyways.

“Thanks.” Hongbin ran his hand through his sweaty hair and the awkward silence over took them. Hanbi and Hongbin were friends but they weren’t close. They would hang out sometimes but it was always with other people. “So did you only come with sister-in-law?” Hongbin asked as he leaned against the wall. He wanted to sit down since he had just been running around for hours but he didn’t want to sit on a prop and break it.

“Only Suyun unnie. Why, who did you think I came with?” Hanbi smiled and the corner of her lips curled up in her trademark cat-like way. She could feel her phone vibrate in her pocket but she didn’t even flinch. She didn’t want to be rude and interrupt their conversation.

“Well I thought you would show up with Gongchannie since you two are in a….” Hongbin waved his hands in the air as if he was going to conjure the word out of thin air.

“Since we’re in a relationship?” Hanbi said and Hongbin flinched at the word. Seeing that broke Hanbi’s heart a little bit. She knew that Hongbin might not be comfortable with her dating Gongchan since the boys were best friends. The last thing she wanted was to cause a strain in their friendship.

“What do you see in him? You know he’s a giant right?” Hongbin said jokingly and Hanbi just giggled while shrugging her shoulders

“Everyone is a bit annoying at times.” Hanbi said.

“You’re not.” Hongbin said with a serious expression and Hanbi froze. She didn’t know what it was but the mood of the room changed from playful banter to serious conversation.

“O-Of course I get annoying. Ask Suyun unnie if you don’t believe me.” Hanbi tried to laugh but it just came off as awkward as Hongbin didn’t laugh with her.

“I don’t understand why you and Gongchan are together.” Hongbin let out a frustrated sigh and Hanbi felt herself shrink in his presence. She hated that he was so disapproving of their relationship.

“I’m sorry you feel that way but please don’t let my relationship with Gongchan ruin your friendship.” Hanbi felt her phone vibrate again and this time she was tempted to look at it so she could get out of this conversation.

“I think it’s already pretty ruined.” Hongbin said with a sad smile on his face.

“I’m sorry…I….I don’t know what to say….please don’t hate Gongchan…” Hanbi said grabbing onto Hongbin’s sweater sleeve and the boy became ridged at her touch. She didn’t realise that he had been keeping himself a safe distance from her for a reason.

“I hate him….” Hongbin said as he reached over and grasped Hanbi by her arms and pulled her tight against him. Hanbi’s eyes grew wide like a doe caught in the headlights. Her face became flushed as they stared each other down. “….I hate that he got to you before I could.” He muttered softly before crashing their lips together. Hanbi froze as she felt Hongbin’s soft lips on hers. Fire coursed through her veins as the kiss continued to last seemingly forever. Hanbi found herself wanting to kiss him back but she remembered that she was dating Gongchan and that this was wrong. She forced herself away from Hongbin before she slapped him across the face. Everything was so confusing as Hanbi stood there with her heart threatening to pound right out of her chest. Hongbin stood there looking just as confused and upset as Hanbi did; he couldn’t control himself around her and he had just crossed line.

“Y-You…” Hanbi said with tears in her eyes. Hongbin brought his hand up to cover his cheek that stung from the slap. She took a few steps away from him.

“Hanbi, I just-“ Hongbin took a step towards her. Hanbi held up her hand, signalling that she wanted him to stop.

“Don’t come near me!” Hanbi raised her voice at him. Seeing how hurt Hanbi was made Hongbin listen to what she said. Hanbi then stormed out of the prop room and ran into Suyun who was hanging out with Leo. Once she was out of his sight Hongbin went after her, avoiding any cameras that might catch him with a giant hand print on his face. The two girls left and Hongbin was left to stew in his self-hate for the rest of the night. He had no idea how he was supposed to face Gongchan ever again. They were best friends and Hongbin couldn’t believe that he just kissed his friends girlfriend.

Hanbi sat in her room after the girls had made it home. She was trying to be as quiet as possible since Ara was dead asleep in the bed next to her. Hanbi couldn’t sleep as she tried to come to terms that she kissed by someone other than her boyfriend. She grabbed her phone thinking that she could text Gongchan to get her mind off of everything but as soon as she pulled up their conversation her fingers stalled. All of a sudden she didn’t have anything to say to him. Her mind went completely blank as she stared at the screen. The only thing she wanted to talk about was Hongbin but she forced herself not to. She typed in ‘hello’ but quickly erased it all as she felt a wave anxiety wash over her. Why was this so difficult for her all of a sudden? Before the kiss Hanbi could have talked to Gongchan for hours. But now she couldn’t even bring herself to type a simple greeting. All she could think about was Hongbin and how sad he looked at she had hit him.

Hanbi pulled her pillow over her face and softly groaned in frustration. She wanted things to go back to the way they were before where Gongchan would be the only man on her mind instead of the stupid, butthead Hongbin who decided to force himself into her life. Even when she thought bad words about Hongbin her heart hurt. Hanbi hated herself. Why couldn’t she be angrier at Hongbin? Why couldn’t she hate him for kissing her when he knew she was with someone else? Why couldn’t she hate him for putting her in an awkward position with her boyfriend? Instead Hanbi hated herself for pushing him away and causing him pain.

Chapter 100: Dammmm. This is so good! I keep on pressing the next button, I love how the character's characteristics is developed around the story, and also how the story revolved. Very realistic.

Chapter 100: Oh my goodness, the final chapter. I really can't believe it's over. This is seriously one of the best stories that I've read on this site. It might be weird but I'm actually so proud of how your writing matured over the course of the story and I'm so so sad to say goodbye to the characters. I hope you'll continue to write more stories, I can't wait to read them. Much love!

Chapter 24: I wish kpop has more of this duet thingy again! I mean back then we have 2pm and Snsd doing Night Fever or something and there was also 2pm and MissA with their dance and all. T-ara and Mblaq if I'm not mistaken had their part too. I want of that you see. Now we have like lots of new girl groups and boy groups but why they don't get to perform like those seniors in their glory years? You guys agree? Lol~ and the last time I watch something like that was Girls day and Vixx doing Trouble Makers Now! Other than that I couldn't remember. And they should really bring back Romantic&Idol! How I miss that show.

Anyway your story is good that was why I never commented because I kept clicking the next button >< At first I thought that the show would be like a game show for a day of shooting just like the Dream Team or the Crown Prince or something like that but it's actually more like a battle show between idols but yeah ok Suyun and Leo seem sweet and all. Bomi is super cute and fun! I can imagine her and Zelo and Zico and totally can't imagine Cap since lol not a big fan and Kangnam liking Suyun is unexpected because he is most likely to be the funny one but turns out he is the second-male lead that got rejected. Oooh and I sensed something on Mark. I totally ship him with Suyun too~
