Thirty Three
Blue BlossomSuyun headed back to the dorm around three in the morning. She easily slipped past her managers and made it into bed and she crawled under the blankets, glad that they had the morning off the next day.
“Suyun unnie…wake up…” She felt herself being gently woken up by Juhee. Suyun opened her eyes slightly and was blinded by a bright light that was attached to a camera.
“Oh my god.” Suyun pulled the blankets over her head and she heard Gayun and Juhee’s evil cackling as they tugged on the blanket. “What is going on?!” Suyun angrily asked and Gayun just laughed harder.
“Wake up unnie! Let the cameras see your pretty face.” Juhee yanked the blanket off of Suyun who quickly covered her face. She sat up in her bed and bowed to the cameras and to the staff who were swarmed around her bed.
“Why are you hiding your face? You know you always look pretty in the morning.” Gayun grabbed onto Suyun’s wrists and forced her hands down. Suyun’s face was blushing a bright shade of red as she looked into the cameras.
“What time is it?” Suyun asked and Juhee, who by this point could understand basic English, handed Suyun her phone. It was seven in the morning which meant she only had around four hours of sleep. She groaned and slumped back down onto her bed, tightly clutching onto her pillow.
“Get clean up unnie, we’re going to wake up the maknae’s now.” Juhee lovingly pat the top of Suyun’s head and she only groaned in response. The two girls and the camera crew all headed off to the youngest girls bedroom to wake them up in their humiliating states. Ara was the worst and was going to be so embarrassed. She wore animal onsies as pyjamas and was known to be a drooler and the older girls that it was the most adorable thing in the world since she basically looked like a giant baby. A few minutes later Suyun forced herself to sit up in bed and look at her phone and saw she had a few messages.

Hey, what’s going on?
From: Taekwoon~Oppa~
Just realised I might have woken you up. Sorry.
From: Mark
If you ever want to talk, I’m here for you.
Suyun let out a sigh and tried to flatten her hair that was slightly sticking up in every direction. She figured that she should tell Leo what was going on so she didn’t have to hide it from him anymore, but the last thing she wanted was to be a burden to anyone. But, on the other side of the argument, he was her boyfriend. He could care if she is upset and that a member of her family is sick. She took a large breath and forced herself to be an adult and talk about her feelings. When the text was sent Gayun came into their room and told Suyun that they were all meeting in the living room.
“What is even going on?” Suyun whined as she walked into the living room, grabbing a sweater on the way there. She pulled it on over her head and yanked the hood over her eyes. They said hello as a group in front of the cameras, in what was sure to be a hilarious look at the members in their natural state. Ara was in a large pink bunny suit with her hair tied in cute little pig tails. Suyun wrapped her arms around the maknae in a sweet back hug and cuddled her face into the bunny suit.
“Unnie~ Let go~” Ara cutely whined and tried to get out of Suyun’s grasp but she refused. The maknae was too cute to let go of.
“No.” Suyun tightly held onto Ara even as she walked around the room trying to shake her off.
“Aish~ Can you two stop flirting and get back to filming?” Juhee yelled at them but Suyun glued herself to Ara the whole time. Turns out this was going to be a part of the new show they were filming and that the first episode would be up in a about a month which would be around the time of their concert and they figured it was just a clever way for the company to sell more tickets even though everyone was sure they were going to sell out quickly. The girls got washed up, had their hair and makeup done and then continued on with the filming. Leo was in his company practice room early in the morning when he received a text message from Suyun. He hadn’t been able to talk to her for a few days because he was busy with their come back and she was performing and getting ready for their concert. It was frustrating but he knew this is what was going to happen when he decided to date a fellow idol.

You didn’t wake me up, don’t worry. I don’t get a lot of sleep anymore and I got some bad news yesterday which made everything worse.
Leo became concerned when he saw the text from Suyun about how she wasn’t sleeping and seemed to be sad. He frowned as he thought of something to text back.
“What’s wrong?” N asked as he slid up beside Leo and read the text over his shoulder. Normally Leo would hide his conversation but he honestly wanted N’s advice on what to say.
“Suyun seems to be sad.” Leo said, tapping his finger on the side of his phone.
“Is she sad because she can’t see you?” N asked and Leo just shrugged his shoulders.
“I think it’s something else.” Leo let out a sigh and started texting her back. He didn’t like that she was sad and he wished he could do something for her to try and get her mind off of it, but being in a secret relationship was making that difficult.
While on break from filming, Suyun checked her phone and saw that Leo had replied.

What was the bad news? Is it anything I can help with?
From: My SuSu
No. My mom is really sick right now.
From: Taekwoon~Oppa~
I’m so sorry. Are you going back to America to visit her?
From: My SuSu
I haven’t even told my manager left. You’re the only one who knows.
From: Taekwoon~Oppa~
You should tell your company. They might let you go and visit her.
From: My SuSu
My family said to not to visit. They will keep me in the loop.
From: Taekwoon~Oppa~
I still think you should tell your manager or something. If you ever need someone to talk to, I am here for you 24/7. Never be afraid to call me.

Mhmm <3
Suyun closed her phone and focused on the filming. It felt like a weight had been taken off her shoulders while texting Leo. Talking to someone about it was really the best thing and she was going to take Leo’s advice and tell one of their managers about her mother’s health. She didn’t need to go back to America right now, but she would like to be able to go in case she gets worse. Suyun thought about texting Mark back, but every time she tried she always get called away to do something else. She would get back to him eventually, but for now she had to focus on work.
