"Get in." Key came out of the car when he saw Donghae, Jihyun, Seungyeon and Woohyun approaching. "Are you okay? And why isn't Jonghyun coming with you?" Key asked worried.

 

"He.. he is still in the house." Jihyun said helping Donghae in the car.

"What if they hurt him? What if they do something really terrible?" Seungyeon said in panic glancing at the house nervously.

 

"I callled the police, they should be here soon." Key said.

Soon they could hear the noices of fighting inside the house again. "No! Jonghyun!" Seungyeon yelled.

 

"Seungyeon, get inside the car." Jihyun said and pulled Seungyeon inside despite her struggling. Woohyun sat beside Seungyeon and listened to her cries to Jonghyun silently, he squeezed Seungyeon's hand gently.

 

"Are you alright? Y-you aren't hurt anywhere?" Woohyun asked her. Seungyeon turned to look at Woohyun, he looked really pitiful and hurt, with blood all over his face and clothes.

"Woohyun.. I'm alright. But you are not.. Woohyun you should have protected yourself.. now look at you.." Seungyeon whispered, she felt really bad that becaue of protecting her he was now at this state.

 

"You are okay.. what a relief." he whispered and hugged Seungyeon.

 

"Donghae hyung.. i'm so sorry. Because I knew those people.. all this happened.. i'm sorry." Woohyun said silently, just then they heard the police arriving. All the men who had been guarding the house ran away. Key right away walked to the police when he saw them.

 

"Inside that house. There's some bad guys who are trying to do something to my brother and his friend. They already beat up his friends." Key told them and the police started approaching Donghae's house.

 

They banged the door.

 

"It's the police!"

 

The bad guys inside froze when they heard that. "! Guys let's go!" the man who had just got a grip of Jonghyun yelled and threw him against the wall and got ready to escape from the back door.

"But I do know your name and who your friends are. So just wait." the man said glaring at Jonghyun and Jong Suk. "Next time we should be meeting in our base."

 

"Oh, really? How come it's hard to believe that." Jong Suk snorted as he wiped the blood dripping from his lips with his hands.

"I think that the next time I would see you hanging out with the cops."

 

"Police!!" The police barged in.

"They went out the back." Jong Suk pointed to the back.

 

Most of the police ran out the back while a few stayed inside to interview Jong Suk and Jonghyun. After a few questions Jonghyun and Jong Suk were freed and the police left to interview the rest of them outside.

 

Jonghyun sighed and sat on the couch. "Me returning to Korea was for me to help Woohyun not get caught by some gang members."

Jong Suk chuckled. "Me going to Italy wasn't to get ually abused either."

"What do I do? The police said I should go back to Italy as soon as possible until it's safe to return, but I can't leave Seungyeon and everyone here knowing that the men are still out there." Jonghyun buried his face into his hands.

Jong Suk sat by Jonghyun and his back. "Just take Woohyun and go to Italy. Things will be fine here. I'll protect your friends and Seungyeon since they've been nothing but nice to me."

"Thanks Jong Suk." Jonghyun hugged Jong Suk. "You're the best."

 

Jong Suk's heart rate accelerated as Jonghyun hugged him. I never thought Jonghyun would hug me. Wait calm down he's Seungyeon's and he's my friend. Slowly Jong Suk's heart rate slowed back down.

 

"You're lucky I'm a nice friend." Jong Suk pulled away.

"I know you are. I felt your heart beating faster, but you did nothing. I know your a nice friend." Jonghyun smiled.

"Jonghyun!! Jong Suk!! Are you okay?" Seungyeon ran into the house right into Jonghyun's arms.

"We're fine." Jonghyun replied hugging her back.

"Good. I was scared something bad happened." Seungyeon looked at Jonghyun's face then touched the cut on his face.

Jonghyun winced. "Ow."

"Sorry." Seungyeon stared at his face.

 

Seungyeon then looked around at all the boys who were bruised from the fight.

"Your all going to the hospital for a check up now." she ordered.

 

"It's fine.. nothing that big happened.." Jonghyun said touching his face.

"Yeah... this will all heal by itself..." Woohyun said too.

"Let's just go back inside.. it doesn't really hurt anymore." Donghae said.

 

"Yah! Stop playing as Mr. Tough Gyus.. you are going to the hospital!" Jihyun snapped and nudged Donghae making him flinch in pain.

"Doesn't hurt huh?" she frowned.

"Not.. much." Donghae smiled awkwardly at his girlfriend.

 

"I think it's best we just go.." Jong Suk said.

"Yeah, hyung let's just go." Key frowned looking at Jonghyun.

"Yes. Listen to Jong Suk and Key, they seem to be the only clever ones out of you. Let's go!" Seungyeon pulled Woohyun and Jonghyun in the car.

Seungyeon was sitting in the hospital hallway with Jihyun and Key waiting for Jong Suk, Jonghyun, Donghae and Woohyun as they were being treated.

 

Key looked at the girls. "Want anything to drink? I can get some.."

"Sure. If there's some hot chocolate, can you bring me." Jihyun said.

"Seungyeon?" Key looked at her.

"I don't need anything thanks." Seungyeon answered.

"Okay, I'll be right back." Key said and left to buy the drinks.

 

Seungyeon stared at the wall in front of them absent mindedly. She kept on thinking of what had just happened, how Woohyun had been protecting her.

 

"You know.. I never thought Woohyun would be like that. He didn't care at all if he was hurt, he only protected me.. they could have killed him like that.. he just sat there still taking all that pain..... he was never like that before, he would comlain about the slightest little pain, I never expected him to act like he did today.. I didn't expect him to be that dependable.." Seungyeon said silently.

 

"True, he wouldn't have done that before. Woohyun really cares about you..." Jihyun said.

"He shouldn't care about me too much.. I can't give him what he wants." Seungyeon whispered.

 

The images of Woohyun being beat up in front of her eyes didn't leave her thoughts.

Woohyun and Donghae were sitting on the hospital bed where they were both being treated. The doctor had left to another room to get something he needed for a while. Jong Suk and Jonghyun were treated in another room.

 

"Hyung, I was so scared today." Woohyun said and looked out the window.

"Trust me, so was I ." Donghae said patting Woohyun's shoulder.

"When I heard that they would beat Seungyeon, I -I thought my heart would stop." Woohyun said. "Hyung, I really have never felt like this for anyone, when they dragged her there like that, it felt as if someone was trying to take something that was a part of me away from me. I was so scared.."

 

Donghae let out a small sigh. "Woohyun, even though you do care about Seungyeon a lot. I wish you could try and forget about her, couldn't you just think of her as a really good friend. Jonghyun and Seungyeon, they are happy together."

 

"No.. I can't, I can't give up on her yet." Woohyun shook his head. "Until this day, I think I have taken all this the wrong way. I have been really stupid and immature and I only fell on my own depression and self pity, and it made me turn into a really horrible person.. i'm not surprised why Seungyeon didn't want to date me . Who would want to have such a person as a boyfriend.. a boyfriend should be someone who the girl can rely on, not someone who only brings stress to the girl because of his stupid actions right? But hyung, now I have decided that I am going to change, i'm going to work real hard to change for the better. If I go to Italy with Jonghyun, then there i'm going to work really hard to become a really amazing guy., not such a pitiful fool I have been. Until this day, I haven't been competition enough for Jonghyun, now I realize that.. but I am not going to give up yet. Whhen I come back, I hope Seungyeon will change her mind about me... but if it still doesn't work out then.. then i'm going to give up. But i'm not giving up yet, when I know I can turn for the better. I just can't give up on someone I care about so much just yet.. I can't.. I don't want to be just friends with Seungyeon when I feel like this for her."

 

After a while Donghae and Woohyun came out of the room. Everyone in the hallway stood up.

 

"You okay?" Jihyun ran to Donghae.

"I'm fine." Donghae kissed her forehead. "Sorry to worry you."

"You okay?" Seungyeon asked Woohyun.

Woohyun smiled and walk toward her. "I'm fine-"

"Jong Suk!!" Seungryeon ran toward him. "Are you okay? Where's Jonghyun?"

"I'm fine and Jonghyun's inside. The doctor wanted to talk to him for a bit more." Jong Suk coolly replied. "Jonghyun told me to tell you to wait for him a bit. He'll be out soon."

 

Seungyeon nodded and wearily looked at the door. Something just felt wrong about Jonghyun being inside a longer.

"What?" Jonghyun looked at the doctor. "Can I do this tomorrow? I have people outside waiting for me. I'll come back and do the test then okay."

"Fine, but the longer you wait the worse it'll get." The doctor put the folder on the desk.

"It's okay. I'll be back tomorrow, but just letting you know I'm leaving for Italy in less then a week." Jonghyun told the doctor.

 

Jonghyun grabbed his jacket. As he was about to put it on he stopped and glanced at his bruised wrist.

 

I don't think that bruise is from fighting, Mr Kim.

Jonghyun shook his head and slipped on his jacket. Jonghyun slid the door open and walked outside.

 

"Jonghyun." Seungyeon ran to him. "Are you okay? What did the doctor say?"

"He said that I'm fine. He just wanted my autograph because his daughter is a fan of mine." Jonghyun smoothly lied.

"Oh. I was worried something bad happened." Seungyeon hugged him.

"Don't be." Jonghyun hugged Seungyeon.

 

Jonghyun held her closely, refusing to let her go. He slowly leaned back and looked at her face. Slowly Jonghyun leaned closer until their lips met. Jonghyun passionately kissed her like he did the night before Seungyeon left for Korea.

 

"Ehem." Woohyun coughed.

 

Seungyeon tried to pull back, but Jonghyun refused to let her. He kissed her a bit longer before pulling away.

 

"Let's hang out today. Only the two of us." Jonghyun grabbed her hand and started walking. "Donghae take care of the rest. Key I'll be back late."

 

Jonghyun pulled Seungyeon pass a stunned Donghae, Key, Jihyun, and Woohyun. Jong Suk watched Jonghyun. Something's wrong.
