Author’s POV…

Eden practically ran to the club downstairs, it was booming with Japanese and Korean Pop, something she was used to. She walked down the stairs that led to the middle of the dance floor, into the middle of the dancers, swinging her hips to the beat of the music. She hung her head back looking up at the flashing lights above of her, getting lost in their brightness. Dancing alone in the pack of people for a few minutes, she then separated and walked over to the bar.

“How can I help you?” the bartender asked once she got there, as she smiled at him.

“Can I get the strongest thing you got?” she asked smirking as he nodded going to make her drink. She turned, leaning her back against the bar top, watching all the people on the dance floor getting lost in the music. This was the perfect place for her, she needed something to calm her nerves, to get her mind off of what didn’t matter. But standing there in that time she noticed the stares she was receiving from 2 guys, also looking foreign, one blonde and Caucasian, the other African American. They winked at her from their table while she rolled her eyes and quickly turned back to the bar.

“Here you go.” The bartender said as she smiled, bowing her head in thanks, sipping on the strong alcohol, enjoying how it burned on the way down.

Taeyang dressed comfortably for him, and made his way down to the club. Upon entering, he walked over to the table hyung had informed him to wait at, of course it gave the view of the entire dance floor below the railing. He took a seat against the railing, bobbing his head to the music blasting, constantly checking his watch for the time.

“Where the heck is he?” He whispered to himself looking around to all the pretty girls that had their eyes all over him. He sighed, slightly annoyed when a pack of girls came over, taking their seats casually at the table.

“You’re Taeyang from Big Bang, aren’t you?” One asked moving her seat closer to his, so that she could place her hand on his thigh. He looked to her hand and then up to her, slightly in disbelief.

“Yah, so?” He asked uncaring as the girls with her giggled.

“You’re cuter in person, wanna hang out with us?” She asked leaning forward so that her s were now resting on his shoulder. He slightly pulled away from her before turning his back to them, concentrating on the dance floor.

“Where is the rest of Big Bang?” one asked as Taeyang looked over his shoulder.

“Top hyung is supposed to meet me here with his date.” He explained in monotone loudly over the blasting music.

“So does that make you a third wheel oppa? I can be your date?” One girl huskily spoke his ear, wrapping her thin arms around his neck, tucking one of her hands into the collar of his shirt, resting on his bare chest. He hissed at the cold touch, almost lost in it before his eyes connected with a familiar figure down below. He leaned forward quickly, making sure he wasn’t seeing something, the girls arms were yanked from his shirt in that moment.

“Eden?” He whispered to himself watching her dance by the bar, drink in hand.

“What is she doing here?” he whispered looking around to see if he could see any of the other girls.

“Alone?” He asked not finding anyone else that he recognized.

“Hey oppa, come hang out with us.” Another girl asked as he was being pulled back, that’s when he saw the 2 males making their way to Eden. His heart skipped a beat, not in excitement but anger, he knew exactly what guys in Japan were like. He quickly stood off his seat ready to run down as the girls linked their arms with his.

Eden turned back to the bar, finishing her drink as she felt a presence on both sides of her.

“Hey they beautiful.” One voice chirped as she ignored them.

“Can I talk to you beautiful?” The other asked as she continued her drink, ignoring them.

“Wanna come and have some fun?” One asked as his hand s down her hip to her backside, giving it a quick squeeze. She growled annoyed turning to the smiling man before she launched her hand, slapping him hard across the face.

“Back off bastard.” She snapped about to walk back to the dance floor before the other man forcefully grabbed her hand, yanking her back to the bar, holding her head down by her neck on the bar top, while he d her.

“I said I wanna have fun .” He hissed into her ear watching as she squirmed. She was about to scream before he was forcefully yanked off of her. She turned around to see a hooded man punch the man in his face, before kicking the other in his chest. They were both now laid out on the ground at her feet before she looked up to the still unknown man.

“Who?” She whispered in surprise as the man reached forward for her hand before dragging her away. She was too in shock to even fight back with the man that just saved her from those men.

Taeyang watched as the men tried to woo her, she didn’t seem interested from where he was standing. He shook off the women that were hanging around him, pulling his hood up before quickly walking over in time to see one of the men grab her backside. His face burned red angrily as the other man yanked her, tossing her to the bar top before ing her from behind. That was it, he wasn’t going to sit back anymore. Clouded in anger, he grabbed the man’s shoulder, pulling him away from Eden, before punching him square in the face. His friend ran over to attack before Taeyang quickly kicked him in the chest, sending in back into the bar stools. They had pissed off the wrong person.

Eden was being dragged towards a room conjoined to the club; the man opened the door, pulling her in before slamming the door shut behind them.

“What the hell are you doing here alone?!” A familiar voice shouted from the hooded figure in front of her, huddled against the now locked door of the VIP lounge. Eden just stood there, still a bit shaken from the incident outside as she stared at the back of the familiar man.

“Youngbae oppa?” She asked hesitantly, hoping it wasn’t who she thought it was. He pulled off his hood and turned to her with pure rage filling his eyes. She slightly gasped in shock, putting a hand over her ajar mouth before taking a step back into the opposite wall.

“What are you doing here oppa?” Eden slightly whispered wondering where her voice had disappeared to. He seethed kicking the chair next to his foot before looking at her.

“I should be asking the same thing of you. What are you doing here, alone?!” He shouted as she flinched from the sudden loudness. Her heart was racing, her breath became ragged, never had she seen this side of Taeyang before.

“I-I….” She whispered mumbling unable to get the words across suddenly.

Taeyang was beyond upset, how could this woman come to such a place alone, especially a foreign place to her where she didn’t speak the language. It was like throwing her to the lions, blindfolded. He saw the way she flinched when he snapped at her finally. He didn’t expect it to come out the way it did, but it did none the less. He sighed frustrated when she stuttered in answer to his current question. He put a hand through his Mohawk before turning away from her.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to yell at you.” He mentioned shutting his eyes tightly. If anything, he was extremely worried that if he had not been here when he was, that something serious would have happened to her without any of them knowing. He turned back to her, looking at her slightly shaken frame against the wall before sighing in reaction. Gathering all his strength and courage, he walked over hesitantly, leaving him a few inches from her. He wasn’t experienced in this field of the world, he wasn’t sure how this was supposed to go on, or what he was supposed to do next. So he did the first thing that came into his head. He pulled her against his chest tightly, burying his face into her cold bare shoulder.

“I was just worried. I’m sorry.” He whispered as Eden stood their frozen in shock. Taeyang was holding her and he smelt more than amazing. His breathing on her shoulder blew down her back, sending shivers from head to toe.

“It’s not right for a woman to go out alone, especially to this kind of place.” He whispered sighing in relief that he knew she was safe in his arms. Eden couldn’t help but feel warm and wanted  in his arms, being that this was the first time that he had shown any interest in her, even if it didn’t mean nothing, she was still happy. Eden’s emotions and the alcohol she had consumed tonight were slowly overtaking her, with no help from his overpowering cologne. He suddenly pulled away from her, keeping her at arm’s length as her eyes darted over to his slightly parted lips directly in front of her. Her eyes trailed up his face and then to his eyes that had relaxed since the moment they had entered the room.

“Oppa.” Eden mumbled in a shaky voice, not being able to muster up anything else. Taeyang’s eyes traced her flawless face and then down to her plump lips. He didn’t to get away from her before he did something he would regret in the end. He cleared his throat quickly, stepping away before his eyes shot open. She had jumped across the small distance, against his chest with her lips to his. She didn’t care the consequences coming out of this, she needed to do this at least once in life before it drove to over the edge to insanity. She began to pull away, thinking it was best if she stopped this now, but his arms dug firmly into her hips surprising her. She opened her eyes in shock to see him kissing her back. Is this where protecting her led them?
