Hoku’s POV…

Today was finally the day, and thanks to my nerves all night, I had absolutely no sleep. I groaned in my sleep hearing a few footsteps moving around the room before I finally peeked out from under my pillows to see Soo Yeon, Eden, Tyra and Stephanie plus a few other women moving busily around the room.

“What time is it?” I asked sitting up and looking to them as the ones I didn’t know quickly bowed.

“Would you two just get up already!? We’re supposed to be at the awards by 7.” Tyra whined as I looked over to see Selena half asleep just sitting there, then to my ringing phone on the dresser across the room.

“Eden, answer that.” I said annoyed pointing to it before I dropped back onto my bed.

“Hoku!” She shouted as I rolled over to look at her.

“It’s YG.’ She whispered holding the phone to her palm before my eyes shot open. I urgently climbed out of bed, stumbling a bit to get to her before I ripped the phone out of her hand.

“Morning I-I mean Morning.” I quickly said clearing my throat.
“Ah good morning Hoku-ah.” He said cheerfully as I pushed Tyra’s face away from me, trying to eavesdrop on the conversation.

“Is there something I can help you with this morning sir?” I asked as he chuckled.

“Just wanted to drop of few last minute information for the show on you.” He informed while I nodded and ran over for a sheet of paper and pen.

“Alright, got my notepad ready.” I answered causing him to laugh.

“I have a few guys already at the building, as soon as you guys get inside you will be hooked up with the camera’s we’ve had you train on, along with earpieces to communicate with the guys and each other.” He explained while I nodded and began writing it down.

“Also since you are the Head Coordinator for the club, I will tell you this. The guys will only be out in the open during the red carpet. As soon as they you into the building, they will be brought backstage and kept there till their performances.” He said as my eyes shot open.

“But what about the awards sir?” I asked confused.

“Jiyong has been asked to open the show and present the first performance of the night, after that he will sit along with the other artists.” He said as I nodded writing it down.

“Once the category for Best Male Solo is over with, Jiyong will be brought back stage with the others. If Big Bang wins Best Male Group, I would like you to go and accept it on their behalf.” He added while my eyes shot open.

“Alone sir?” I asked while he chuckled.

“Stephanie and Selena will be sitting in the guest area next to the artist, Tyra and Eden will be manning camera’s for the live stream.” He informed as I nodded unwillingly before writing it down.

“Alright sir, I got it.” I answered.

“I’m counting on you tonight Hoku-ah.” He pointed out again making me twice as nervous.

“Also Jiyong asked me for one request.” He then said breaking me from my nervousness.

“What is that sir?” I asked hesitantly.

“I had to pull a few strings but Jiyong insisted you sit with him till his award.” He said as my eyes shot open in surprise.

“Is that even possible sir? I mean, the artists dates don’t sit with them unless they are up for an award.” I mentioned before he laughed.

“I pulled strings and made it possible. So just let Tyra and Eden take care of it till then, alright?” He asked as I sighed looking to Tyra and Eden’s smirking expressions.

“I understand sir.” I answered immediately. We said our Farewell before I sighed and dropped on the couch. Originally we were supposed to just stay backstage with the guys through the entire show, giving the live feed of backstage drama, but Jiyong fought against it with YG and insisted that we stayed in the front. Something was making me extremely fishy about what was about to happen tonight.

“That doesn’t sound like a good sigh.” A voice pointed out as I looked up to see Steph with a towel in her hair.

“That’s because it feels like I’m about to throw up.” I pointed out rubbing my stomach while she laughed and took a seat next to me.

“Oh come on, it can’t be that bad.” She said as I snorted and looked over to her.

“If Big Bang wins Best Male Group, he wants me to accept it on their behalf.” I pointed out before her smile disappeared.

“Alone?” She asked as I nodded.

“I asked the same thing, but since you and Selena aren’t part of the club, you’ll be sitting as guests and Tyra and Eden will be manning cameras.” I pointed out covering my face with my hands.

“If it’s you doing it, I’m sure it’ll be fine.” She then said while I turned to see Tyra and Eden already getting set up in the makeup and hair seats.

“All your dresses were delivered just now.” Soo Yeon pointed out walking into the room with a rack of 5 dress bags and shoes sitting below them.

“Oh I can’t wait to see everyone’s dresses.” Eden cheered from her seat as I leaned back in my chair and nodded.

“Selena-ssi, Hoku-ssi, if you two are hungry we ordered room service, help yourselves.” One of the women said while I nodded and walked over to where Selena had already sat, plate of food in front of her.

“Geez, calm down, the food isn’t going to run away.” I whined over seeing her shoving food in like she hadn’t eaten in days. She sighed chewing the food in before swallowing.

“Plus you can bloat if you eat this much in one sitting, imagine if your dress doesn’t fit later.” I pointed out while she leaned back in her seat, staring at the food.

“What’s up?” I asked covering my bagel with some blueberry cream cheese.

“I couldn’t sleep last night.” She admitted putting a hand through her hair, I just smiled and nodded.

“I’m sure you’re not the only one, I couldn’t and from the looks of them, they didn’t either.” I mentioned pointing over to the girls who were currently covering their sleep bags hanging from under their eyes.

“Yah, they look worse than me.” She whispered as I chuckled and nodded.

“It’ll be fine, I’m sure Seungri will be ecstatic to see you.” I teased poking her arm with my fork before she snorted.

Jiyong’s POV…

Today was the day, the girls were back at the hotel getting ready for the day and here we were, doing our last run through of the show tonight.

“You really think it looks ok?” Daesung whined for the thousands time. Unknown to everyone, he had dyed his hair a bluish purple color, we all thought it was really nice but he was self-conscious about what Stephanie would think when they met up with us tonight.

“Bro, it looks fine, chill out.” Seungri whined also going through his own problems.

“Hyung, I have no date tonight, I’m totally going to be a third wheel.” And here comes Seungri’s whining for the night. I sighed massaging my forehead before turning to him.

“Maknae, stop the whining, please.” I begged as he stomped his foot childishly before whining again.

“You wouldn’t understand Hyung, Hoku-ah loves you.” He whined before I sighed and walked over.

“If I got a friend to fill in will you shut up?” I asked as his eyes slightly widened before sighing.

“It still wouldn’t be the same without Selena, but I don’t want to be an extra wheel.” He muttered before nodding to me.

“Thanks Hyung.” He thanked before we finally got down to rehearsing again.

“You think Hoku will freak when she finds out the real reason to the matching colors?” I asked following Youngbae out to the extended stage.

“I think she’ll be alright, she might be surprised by how your hair turns out, but nonetheless she wouldn’t over react.” Youngbae explained while I nodded.

“I really can’t wait to see the girls tonight.” Top hyung announced into the conversation while I nodded in agreement.

“definitely.” I answered smiling at the thought of finally being able to see Hoku after an entire day of being away from her for the first time. I had to admit, I never thought it was possible to miss someone so much after only one day of being away. Didn’t last long because my phone began to blare in my coat pocket causing us to stop our rehearsals.

“Sorry guys.” I answered pulling out my phone before smiling.

“Something tells me it’s noona calling.” Seungri teased as I snorted calling a quick break before I sat on the edge of the stage.

“Hello?” I answered smiling.

“Hey, you busy?” She asked as I looked around to see the guys patiently waiting.

“No, we’re taking a breather right now.” I answered hearing someone scoff from behind me.

“Good.” She said sighing as I heard a bunch of other voices on the phone.

“You alright?” I asked taking in the unusual silence that was suddenly engulfing me.

“I’m just thinking about things, got a lot on my mind.” I answered before I nodded.

“Baby, if you’re worried about tonight, don’t. Everything will be fine.” I reassured before she sighed again.

“YG just called me.” She said as I froze in confusion.

“For what?” I asked hesitant.

“He asked me to accept Big Bang’s Best Male group Award if you guys do win.” She mentioned causing me to smile.

“Awh come on baby, just go up and tell the fans how much we appreciate it. Nothing to it.” I said smiling knowing that she was probably blushing right now.

“Jiyong, it’s a little different between you and me. You’re used to doing it, this is my first time.” She whined while I laid back looking up at the ceiling.

“I still think you’ll do an amazing job.” I added before she sighed.

“Of course you would think that, you’re my boyfriend. It’s only natural for you to say that.” She mumbled before I sighed looking back to see the guys all tapping their feet, impatiently.

“So what’s the plan for tonight?” I asked changing the subject.

“Well YG said that you’ll all meet us there, no wait, he said we’ll arrive at the same time but in different cars.” She added as I nodded.

“So we won’t be able to see you girls till we get to the red carpet?” I asked whining before she snorted.

“Then once we get inside, you guys will be taken backstage, Selena and Steph will be sitting in the guest area next to the artists. Tyra, Eden and I will be manning cameras for the live stream of the show.” She explained before I nodded.

“So you won’t be able to sit by me?” I whined before she sighed.

“YG did say I could sit with you till the Male Solo Award then I need to get back to videotaping.” She offered before I smiled.

“Good. “ I spoke happy with what I heard.

“Hyung.” Seungri whined loudly before I snorted.

“I’m guessing breaks over?” She asked causing me to chuckle.

“We also need to get ready, so I guess I’ll meet you on the carpet tonight.” I teased before she giggled.

“I’ll see you tonight, good luck!” she said as I stood up proudly smiling before we hung up.

Hoku’s POV…

Couple hours later and here I was half asleep in the makeup chair while the ladies tugged, straightened, and curled my hair while another put a coat of battle paint on my face, I mean makeup of course. The other girls were doing the same and before we knew it, it was time to start getting ready.

“Alright, who wants to go first?” Soo Jin asked as I pushed Eden out to her.

“Ah Eden-ssi.” She said reaching on a rack for a bag before she turned to me and snarled.

“Just get in there.” I whined as she unwillingly followed the women into the bathroom to change.

“What color did Youngbae-ah pick?” I asked over to Soo Jin who smiled.

“Gold.” She said as we turned our attention back to the now opening bathroom door.

“That was fast.” Stephanie whispered as we stood up and watched her walk out.

‘Where’d Eden go?” Selena whispered causing us to break out laughing at her joke.

“I like it.” I said as Eden sighed a breath of fresh air before one by one we began changing into our dresses.

“I absolutely love your dress Selena.” Steph said as Selena walked out of the bathroom, looking like a million bucks.

“Alright Steph, you’re turn.” I said pushing her towards the bathroom to change.

“Why do you get to go last?” Tyra scoffed as I smirked.

“Because y’all will probably die when you see mine.” I mumbled before she narrowed her eyes at me.

“You know it’s illegal to walk out in public .” She teased causing everyone to laugh before I snorted.

“Ha-ha-ha funny.” I hissed before Steph walked out.

“Oh god.’ I said in surprise watching her adjust it.

“What? Is it ugly?” She asked panicking before I quickly shook my head.

“No, no, no, you look beautiful.” I chirped as she smiled.

“Alright, now go!” Selena and Eden pushed me towards the bathroom while I laughed. I quickly changed as fast as I could into the dress I had choose, it was a bit difficult with all the different ties and what not on it.

“There.” Soo Jin said as I turned to the mirror before smiling to finally see myself complete.

“I love it.” I whispered blowing a stray hair out of my face smiling.

“Hurry up!” Steph shouted as I smiled opening the door before walking out.

“Oh my god!” Eden shouted as I laughed looking down to it then up to them.

“That looks amazing.” Tyra whispered while I bowed.

“I’ll probably freeze in this dress but I loved it too much.” I mentioned before they nodded.  We were hooked up with various jewelry and shoes before finally being escorted out of the hotel. There were a ton of fans waiting outside the hotel so we snuck out the back to the waiting van.

“Oh god it’s freezing.” Selena whined climbing into the back.

“Hurry and close the damn door.” Tyra snapped as Hoku climbed in last before shutting it behind her. The guys van was already waiting at a location outside the building for us, so we drove in silence to the said place, meeting with the van before both vans took off to said place. We had to have been waiting in a line of cars for a few minutes, many celebrities and idols were being dropped off and interviewed.

“You girls ready?” I asked back to see all their frozen faces.

“Come on girls, the guys are waiting.” I gestured out to see the guys climbing out of the van ahead of us, dressed to impress obviously. The flashes to the cameras that waited at the drop off point all began to flutter like crazy. A woman walked around to the driver door and peeked in.

“We’ll let you out one by one, the guys to the photo opportunity area with the press. They’ll do a few photos with the entire group, then move to the interview area.” She informed as I confusingly nodded.

“Steph, what did she say?” I asked back as soon as she was gone before Steph explained to us. I watched nervously as Jiyong walked over to the door, grabbing the handle before opening it up for me. My heart stopped in that moment.
