Jiyong’ s POV…

I could see the color slowly disappearing in her face from the television screen.

“She doesn’t look so good.’ Tyra whispered as my blood ran cold.

“Jiyong-ssi, go to her, quick.” Steph urged as I nodded and took off running towards the stage area where I watched Seungri quickly her off stage towards me. Immediately reaching the stairs she looked up to me before I saw her eyes roll into the back of her head. Reacting quickly, I ran over catching her before she could fall down the stairs, into my arms.

“Damn it.” I hissed annoyed with my unconscious girlfriend in my arms, pulling her up bridal style.

“I’m sorry hyung; noona did it because of me.” Seungri suddenly apologized causing me to look over to him.

“Seungri, this has Hoku written all over it. She’s just worried that she won’t be able to see you smile or laugh anymore. That’s why she’s doing all of this.” I explained before walking out of the room. The doctor had mentioned that she needed to rest for a bit, that the chance of her fainting from exhaustion would take a toll on her were extremely high.

“Should we take her to the hospital?” Top hyung asked as we climbed into the van out front.

“No, we can just take her back to the hotel.” I informed holding her to my chest protectively before they nodded, climbing in before we made our way to the hotel.

Arriving at the hotel, I took her to my room without a second thought and placed her on the bed, under the covers. Standing there at the foot of the bed, staring at her pale face, I sighed putting a frustrated hand through my hair , interrupted by a knock to the door. I looked to Hoku once more before walking over and opening the door to see Stephanie standing there. My eyes opened in surprise before I bowed my head to her.

“Can I help you?” I asked confused to the fact why she was here.

“Oh, I figured when Hoku-ah woke up, she would need a change of clothes and her necessities.” She explained pulling Hoku’s suitcase to the door causing me to smile.

“Thank you. “ I mentioned taking it from her before rolling it inside.

“I’m sorry that she got hurt.” Stephanie suddenly said as I looked at her confused.

“It’s not your fault.” I mentioned before she sighed, sheepishly scratching the back of her neck.

“I was told not to leave her side that night, but she insisted I go and find the cops.” She whispered as I nodded in understanding.

“That still is not your fault.” I mentioned putting a reassuring hand on her shoulder to calm her down.

“I shouldn’t have left her.” Stephanie whispered on the verge of tears causing me to hesitantly pull her into a hug.

“You did what she asked, it’s not your fault.” I whispered patting her back before Stephanie pulled away from my chest, bowing her head before quickly disappearing down the hall. I watched worried as she walked into her hotel room alone, and shut the door. Immediately I pulled out my phone and called him.

“Hyung?” The voice asked as I sighed, shutting the hotel room door.

“Dae, I need you to do something.” I mentioned smiling as I heard Hoku’s soft snores.

“What’s wrong Hyung?” He asked confused before I turned to the large window overlooking the town.

“Go check on Stephanie.” I suggested as the line got quiet.

“Why? Is she ok?” He asked now sounding serious causing me to smile.

“She’s a little down about Hoku, she blames herself for Hoku being hurt. Just go check on her, alright?” I offered before he sighed.

“Alright.” He answered.

“She’ll be going back to Jeju tomorrow anyways, might as well finish what you started the other night.” I teased before he gasped and scoffed.

“Hyung.” He whined causing me to laugh.

“We all know what we walked in on, just be happy Seungri wasn’t the one to walk in on the 2 of you.” I mentioned before he sighed.

“I’ll go see her hyung.” He explained before I nodded and hung up smiling.

Daesung’s POV…

I sighed after hanging up the phone with Hyung. Of course, I had been thinking non-stop about the night that almost happened before everything with Seungri went down. It was driving me over the edge, close to insanity, I haven’t been sleeping correctly, her face haunts my consciousness every second of the day. I climbed out of bed, slipped on the first shirt my hands connected with, slipping my feet into a pair of house slippers, I walked out of my room and down the hallway towards her. Standing outside her door for longer than I had planned, I finally knocked on it, nervous and embarrassed about my current attire.  I heard a few things on the other side, the door unlocked before she opened it showing her still in tears.

“Hey.” I whispered unsure as how I’m supposed to react or say to her. Well I didn’t have the time to do so before she launched herself out the door, arms around my waist, her face buried into my chest. I froze a bit taken back by her actions before my hands hesitantly lowered to her back where I patted it comforting. Finally getting my footing, I walked us into her room and shut the door behind me before resting my back on the door.

“It’s ok.” I whispered looking down before petting her hair slightly, not caring that her tears were soaking into my new shirt. Before I realized it, I was now lying on her bed with her curled up to my side, my arms around her, her head resting on my shoulder.

“Am I bad friend?” She whispered as I blinked the blonde hair out of my face before tilting my head down to look at her.

“Why would you say that?” I asked confused as she sniffled before cuddling to my side closer.

“I knew I shouldn’t have left her but I did anyways.” She whispered as I sighed, letting one hand go on her waist to rest on my own chest as I stared at the ceiling.

“From the time I’ve known Hoku, she has to be one of the most selfless people I know. It’s just in her DNA.” I teased causing her to chuckle and nod.

“It drives hyung crazy because he has to constantly be on the lookout for her.” I mentioned as she laughed and nodded again.

“She would do it for anyone I’m sure, even if she hated their guts.” I mentioned before she nodded again.

“What are you going to do once you’re back in Jeju?” I asked interested before she sighed and shrugged.

“Back to life.” She mentioned as I nodded, rubbing her back caringly.

“You’ll fly up for the awards right?” I asked before she laughed and nodded.

“Like I said, I don’t have a choice. I’m your translator.” She offered while I laughed and nodded.

“I forgot about that.” I whispered smiling before I felt her sit up from me. Looking over interested, I watched as she turned over, resting on her arms as she looked down at me. I couldn’t help but blush as I watched her hair fall around her face effortlessly, the warmth coming off her eyes were sending shivers through my body to my toes. It was an indescribable feeling, one I never wanted to get rid of. She smiled down at me before her hand reached out, gently pushing a few stray hairs out of my face causing my heart to leap out of my throat.

“Do you have to leave?” I asked in a whisper causing her to laugh, and lay her head onto my chest again. It was taking all the control I possessed not to jump her bones right here and now.

“I don’t want to leave, but I have a job to get back to.” She whispered using her finger to draw around on my t-shirt covered abdomen.

“I just want to lay here for the rest of the night.” She whispered feeling her smile as she turned her head to bury her nose into my shirt.

“Don’t move, alright?” She asked looking up to me with those beautiful orbs, taking control of my actions.

“I won’t.” I promised leaning up, kissing her forehead gently before lying down into the pillows, wrapping my arm around her.

“I like you Steph.” I whispered smiling with my eyes shut in the dark room.

“I know.” She whispered back before our exhaustion finally took over.

Jiyong’s POV…

Once I put the phone down on the dresser of the living room, I heard her coughing. My heart raced as I quickly ran around the corner to see her sitting up, legs over the edge of the bed while she coughed.

“Baby, are you alright?” I ran over worried to her side, patting her back gently before she sighed and nodded.

“Yah, breath went down the wrong tube.” She said with a hand resting on her chest, slightly panting

“What happened?” She asked as I knelt down in front of her, holding her knees in my hands.

“You fainted at the conference. I had to catch you from falling down the stairs.” I whispered hoping to never relive that feeling again.

“How’d the conference go?” She asked immediately as I sighed, wishing that she cared about her current health than some nonsense.

“It went off without a hitch, baby.” I mentioned looking into her eyes worried.

“Oh?! I was supposed to call Selena.” She said urgently trying to stand before I grabbed her shoulders to force her back down.

“You need to rest.” I insured before she sighed, fighting to stand up again before I grabbed her shoulders again, shaking her a bit to get her to listen to me.

“Baby! I said rest. Stop worrying about those around you and think about yourself, for once.” I slightly snapped causing her eyes to shoot open in surprise.

“I’m sorry baby, but I can’t stand to see you suffering for others anymore.” I whispered as she sat down with my kneeling in front of her, her hands in mine.

“Jiyong?” She called as I looked up to him.

“Selena and Seungri are my responsibilities.” She whispered as I sighed, hanging my head again.

“Baby, no they are not.” I whined before she smiled, letting go of one my hands so that she could caress my cheek.

“I was the one that told Selena to give Seungri a chance. And I told Seungri the same thing. If I didn’t do it from the start, they both wouldn’t be hurting.” She whispered looking down to her lap as I watched the tears fall to her lap.

“I just want to see them happy. They both deserve it.” She whispered as I sighed, leaning up to kiss her forehead, careful of her bandage before I pulled away to look into her eyes.

“You’re an amazing person, you know that?” I asked with a smile as she smiled through tears. I kissed both her wet cheeks, wiping the excess tears with my thumbs.

“You’re the only one that will ever fully understand Selena, so call her.” I whispered hesitantly falling into her clutches. No matter how I fought against it, she would find a way to tell me different. Her eyes lit up slightly before she smiled.

“Thank you.” She whispered leaning forward before pulling me into a mind blowing kiss.

“I love you Jiyongie.” She whispered causing me to smile up at her warm light brown eyes.

“I love you.” I whispered back before passing her phone to her. She was definitely going to be the end of me, one way or another.
