Hoku’s POV..

“We’re starting in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.” The camera director said before snapping and pointing at me. I just smiled and bowed my head.

“Evening everyone, I’m Hoku Fernandez, Head Admin of USA VIPs, here with….” I started before gesturing over to Big Bang. They all just smiled before bowing.

“We’re Big Bang!” They announced as I smiled and clapped a bit.

“Thank you so much for joining us tonight guys.” I said to them as they all smiled.

“Anytime. It’s not very often that we get to communicate with our foreign fans in the states.” Seungri added as I smiled.

“Well if it’s alright with you guys, we already have tons of questions flooding the chat room.” I said standing off the chair carefully before walking over to the computers with the camera.

“These are my co-admins, Tyra Salsbury and Eden Ortiz. They’ll be working the chat room for the next hour.” I introduced them before they handed me a few question cards.

“And we’ve got our first questions.” I said walking past the guys and to my seat.

“You guys ready?” I asked over smiling as they nodded.

“Please answer the questions as truthfully as possible. If they are too personal you can pass on them.” I mentioned as they nodded before I looked down to the questions.

“First one comes from New York City. She wants to know: Out of your new album, what is each of your favorite songs?” I copied as they all looked around in wonder. They finally quickly, individually answered the questions truthfully, making sure to add why they like the songs they mentioned. I smiled and then turned to the camera before nodding. Of course most of the time I had to translate what the guys were saying to the camera, whenever their English gave way, but it was easier for them.

“Thanks guys.” I said to them as they nodded. I pulled out a random card from the pack on my lap before looking to it.

“The next one is from a girl with the user name ‘TrangC123’.” I mentioned as I felt the tension in the room heighten. I confusingly looked up to see GD looking down into his lap, breathing heavily while the others just looked to the camera and me aimlessly.

“Is there a problem?” I whispered to Seunghyun who was sitting next to me as he sighed.

“Move to the next question.” He whispered as I confusingly nodded before throwing that card down onto the ground.

“Sorry problems.” I said smiling to the camera before moving onto the next question. The questions after the suspicious ‘TrangC123’, went as smooth as planned. The guys answered truthfully and kept a smile on their faces. But maybe it was from me spending so much time with them, I could read the tension and hesitation written all over their faces.

“Thank you so much guys for coming and hanging out with us today.” I said bowing my head to them as they returned the gestured.

“No need to thank. It was so much fun!” Daesung chirped as I laughed and nodded.

“VIPs, stay tuned to the page for any upcoming events happening in the near future, and we’ll see you later.” I said bowing my head before we all waved before the recording lights shut off.

“And that’s a wrap!” The man in front shouted before we all clapped and sighed in relief. I was a bit confused by what was happening, but I could tell it had to be something personal dealing with GD from the looks of it. I don’t know why, but it definitely pained me to see him flustered and slightly irritated by something I worked hard to plan and run. I wanted to know what was up so I was going to.

Jiyong’s POV..

The second that name was mentioned I felt my hands clench into my jeans and my heart harden. I knew the others felt it, instructing Hoku to change the question. When the interview was done, cameras were off; I climbed off my seat and took off through the busy crowd without looking back. I needed to get out of there before I did something I regretted. Before long, I found my way to the roof of the building to see the clear night sky. I sighed letting my breath blow out from me, watching as the visible breath blew into the night disappearing. I shut my eyes tightly irritated at where the night had ended before I sighed.

“Damn you.” I whispered annoyed at her face that suddenly found its way into my head. Why was it that the moment I was trying to get my life back on track, she was there to ruin it for me? I sighed noticing the tears, kicking the ledge of the roof before hanging my head back.

“Ji?” a voice called out as I shut my eyes hiding the tears as footsteps approached.

“You alright?” Bae’s voice asked as I sighed and nodded slowly.

“I’ll be alright.” I whispered looking back to the scenery.

“They didn’t know about her Ji, so don’t be upset with them.” He pointed out as I laughed embarrassed.

“I’m not mad at them.”  I mentioned looking away as he sighed.

“Hoku’s worried about you.” He said as my eyes shot open before I looked over to him.

“She’s worried she said something to upset you.” He said as I sighed looking away.

“Do you still like her?” He then asked as my heart stopped.

“No.” I said immediately as Bae put a hand on my shoulder.

“With you reacting the way you did during the interview says otherwise bro.” he whispered as I groaned before kicking the ledge again.

“You need to get over her Ji.” Bae whispered as I sighed before looking up to the sky.

“I know you say you are over her, and believe me if someone did what she did to you, to me, than I would be over in a heartbeat. But you guys were together forever, so I understand.” He whispered as I shut my eyes tightly trying to get her out of my head.

“You need to move on and be happy bro.” He whispered as I let a tear fall before looking over to him.

“How am I supposed to do that?” I whispered over unsure as he sighed putting his hands on my shoulders to turn me towards him.

“You have someone that’s been handed to you on a silver platter bro; you’re just taking a lot longer than we were expecting to notice that.” He pointed out teasingly as I blushed and looked away.

“We see the way you act differently in front of her, you act like you used to before ‘she’ came around.” He whispered as I sighed. I had to be honest, but everything Bae was saying to me right now was the truth. Ever since I first saw, the moment she yelled at me not as a fan but as a human being, it struck something in me. I sighed putting a frustrated hand through my hair, letting it stick up a bit.

“Just give her a chance. She may be the exact thing you’ve been looking for to get ‘her’ out of your head.” He explained causing me to sigh for the thousandth time.

“Hey? Are you alright?” An all too familiar voice asked from behind me as my heart leaped. I cleared my throat, holding back the sudden tears that were threatening to fall before hesitantly looking over to her worried expression. For some reason, seeing her worried expression caused my heart to break even more.

“Um yah.” I mentioned looking away to Bae hoping she would leave so that I wouldn’t do or say something I would regret later.

“Well we’ll meet you guys back down in the lounge, I’m sure everyone wants to go out tonight.” Bae teased as I hesitantly nodded before he walked over and patted her shoulder then disappeared.

“I’m sorry if I asked something or did something to upset you. I didn’t mean to.” She whispered from next to me as I shut my eyes tightly.

“You didn’t do anything wrong, don’t worry about it.” I whispered looking to the scene in front of us.

“Are you sure?” She asked hesitantly as I looked over to her before smiling. Just then she smiled back at me, sending a blush across my cheeks.

“Well, um…everyone wanted to go out and get dinner? Are you going to come also?” She asked nervously causing me to smile.

“I’d like that.” I pointed out as she smiled before her smile disappeared.

“Um..I didn’t know if this was important or not, but I thought I should give it to you, it’s addressed to you.” She whispered holding the card out to me as my eyes shot open panicking slightly.

“Um.” I whispered as she held it out before noticing my composure.

“She must be a friend.” She whispered pulling it back to her chest in a whisper as I watched.

“She said she missed you and that she’ll be back soon for you.” She whispered as my heart froze before noticing her eyes looking down sadly. Something in me sparked watching her fiddle with the note in her hand.
“She’s an old friend of the groups, don’t worry about it.” I said reaching out and taking the note from her as she looked up to me.

“Well they are waiting for us, so I’ll meet you down there.” She said bowing her head about to walk away before I grabbed her wrist. She stopped in her footsteps as I looked down to her hand to see the slight blemishes of scars that littered it.

“Are you alright?” She asked confused by my expression as I felt my heart leaping out of my chest.

“Um.” I whispered panicking by what I was doing before she jumped against my chest shocking me. My eyes shot open in shock as she wrapped her arms around my waist before burying her face into my shoulder.

“I’m sorry for doing this, but something is telling me I should.” She whispered as I then smiled by her excuse before wrapping my arms around her neck loosely.

“Thank you.” I whispered against her head smiling as she laughed. Something about this hug was warming my insides, my thoughts about Trang were slowly disappearing into the breezy wind of the night. I suddenly let the tears fall that I had been holding it before laying my head against her shoulder.

“You were right, I did need this.” I whispered as she tightened her grip around me.

“Anytime.” She whispered as I smiled.

“I’m sorry about the whole computer incident.” I then mentioned as she laughed before pulling away.

“It’s alright, I’m over it as long as you don’t do it again GD-ssi.” She said as I smiled at her smirking composure.

“You can call me Jiyong.” I pointed out as she smiled more relaxed.

“Alright…Jiyong oppa.” She whispered causing me to blush before nodding.

“Friends?” she asked holding her hand out as I smiled down at it. I wanted nothing more than to pull her into my arms again and beg for her to take me as more than a friend, but with my status and her fragile exterior, I knew this was going to be a long journey, something I would have to do slowly if I wanted to keep her. I just smiled and nodded, putting my hand in hers before we shook.

“Friends.” I said smiling as she laughed before pulling her hand back.

“So you ready for dinner?” She asked gesturing over her shoulder as I smiled and nodded, secretly slipping the note into my coat pocket to follow her.

“That’s a nice coat, where’d you get it from?” I asked following her down the stairs as she laughed ahead of me.

“I made it.” She pointed out as I smirked proudly.

“It’s nice. I like it. Maybe you can make me something like that one day. “I pointed out as she smiled over her shoulder before nodding.

“My pleasure.” She pointed back as I smiled continuing to follow her. I just hope that this friendship will be the start of something beautiful and not of something terrible.
