Hoku’s POV..

I nervously walked in, shutting the door quietly before walking over towards his desk.

“Have a seat.” He gestured to the lone seat in front of us desk, never leaving his eyes from his computer. I hesitantly took the seat offered for me, adjusting the jean skirt I had decided to wear even with the freezing temperatures outside.

“How was the trip?” He asked finally peeling his eyes from the computer screen and to me. I swallowed unsure as where this conversation was going but answered anyways.

“It was very relaxing, thank you sir for allowing us to go.” I said bowing my head in respect while he nodded.

“First things first, how are you?” He asked as I blinked, looking at him slightly confused.

“Excuse me sir?” I asked as he turned the computer screen towards me, showing a tabloid news article with the title ‘US Team member attacked by Big Bang fans in Jeju.’

“Oh that.” I mentioned still feeling the throbbing pulsating pain on my right side.

“I’m alright sir.” I lied looking up with a smile while he continued to stare at me.

“I’m glad I asked you to watch over the boys, it was a good choice.” He praised as I continued to look at him.

“You threw yourself out there for the tour guide, right?” He asked as I blushed and nodded.

“She’s a really cool person, plus I don’t like others hurting because of something to do with me.” I added as he nodded.

“I commend your courage on that.” He added as I bowed my head in thanks.

“I’m pressing charges against those fans for attacking you.” He added as I looked up in surprise.

“Sir, you don’t have to bother yourself with anything that happens to me.” I explained before he laughed.

“You and your team are a very large aspect to our group now, our connections with the state side fans are through you 3, so if I didn’t do something, I would look like the bad guy.” He offered back causing me to smile at the explanation before nodding.

“Is that cut lip the only injury?” He asked gesturing to my still healing lip where my finger naturally reached up to.

“Um.” Was all I could whisper before my hand naturally went over to my side.

“Is there something else I need to know about?” He asked as I looked to the ground in confusion. I didn’t want to worry everyone, but YG was now my boss, I couldn’t just lie to him and lose his trust if he did find out.

“I have a bruise.” I whispered as he leaned forward not hearing me.

“Excuse me?” He asked as I sighed nervously looking up to him.

“I also have a bruise.” I mentioned as he looked to where my hand was before looking at me.

“Is it serious, or did you get it from falling?” He asked as I swallowed shaking my head.

“They kicked me.” I mentioned causing his eyes to shoot open before he reached over for his phone dialing.

“It’s me.” He said immediately on the line.

“Can you send me Dr. Jin and our Lawyer.” He said serious immediately as my eyes shot open.

“Yes, now.” He informed before hanging up and looking at me.

“I want the doctor to examine if that’s alright?” He asked as I nodded hesitantly.

“If it’ll make you feel a bit more comfortable, I can send Selena-ssi up here.” He mentioned as I sighed before nodding while he picked up the phone again.

“Also pick up Selena-ssi from Big Bang’s rehearsal room.” He mentioned quickly before hanging up.

“Sir, may I ask a favor?” I asked looking down to my lap.

“Hm.” He answered as I looked up.

“Please don’t tell the Big Bang members about this.” I asked gently gesturing to my side as he looked at me confused.

“And why not?” he asked

“With all due respect sir, the guys have enough on their plate to worry about with promotions and the concert coming up. I don’t wanna come across as a burden.” I respectfully added causing him to sigh while I looked up to him.

“You’re a very responsible and professional woman, Hoku-ah, I’ll keep my word on this.” He explained as I smiled and nodded.

“Also, please don’t cut me off from work because of this.” I added causing him to laugh.

“It’ll all depend on what the doctor has to say.” He offered as a knock on the door disturbed us.

“Come in!” YG announced as I stood along with him to the door that Selena, Mr. Kim, a doctor and what looked like a lawyer walked in, bowing to YG and me. I smiled, bowing back as Selena walked over to the couch I was now standing by, looking at me confused.

“What am I doing here?” He asked confused as I sighed, not being able to answer her as YG got my attention.

“Hoku-ah, this is Dr. Jin, he’s YG’s private doctor.” YG introduced as I bowed and held a hand out.

“Dr. Jin, Hoku-ah is the Head Coordinator for Big Bang’s Fan club team from the states.” YG said as the man nodded towards me.

“This is also YG’s lawyer, Mr. Jun.” He added as I bowed and shook his hand.

“I can speak Korean.” I informed to the two that looked like they were trying to figure something out. We all took a seat in the couches offered with Selena glued to my side. YG asked me to explain to the lawyer in detail about what happened the previous night before YG asked me to show the doctor my side.

“What’s going on?” Selena asked as I stood up with the doctor coming to my side.

“Whatever you’re about to see, don’t say anything to the guys, alright?” I mentioned to Selena who continued to look at me confused. I shrugged out of my pink coat blazer, unstuck my shirt from my skirt to show them the bruise that was the size of a football on my side. Everyone gasped while Selena shot out of her seat.

“What the hell is that?” She asked worried as I sighed while the doctor inspected it.

“Those girls kicked me before you guys got there.” I explained wincing while the doctor moved his hands gently across it. I could see the fire spark in Selena’s eyes as she glared at me.

“Does it hurt to breathe?” The doctor asked as YG stared at me intensely.

“A bit.” I whispered through my teeth as he nodded pulling a few things out of his bag.

“From the bruising around the skin, it seems they kicked you extremely hard.” He informed as I dropped my shirt before nodding.

“One with heels.” I added hissing as Selena seethed in her seat.

“You didn’t hit them back, did you?” The lawyer asked while I shook my head.

“No sir.” I answered as he nodded jotting a few things down into his book.

“I need Ms. Hoku to come downstairs to the office so that I can do an X-ray of her to determine how serious it is.” The doctor said as YG walked over to his desk, collecting a folder before walking over and nodding.

“Let’s go.” He said as I looked at him surprised before Selena stood up next to me. The walk to the doctor’s private office in the basement of the building was quiet and awkward, plus nerve wrecking, not knowing if a Big Bang member was going to walk around the corner into us, thankfully no one saw us.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” Selena hissed from next to me as I sighed looking to her.

“Because I didn’t want my cousin going to jail for me.” I explained back teasingly causing her to snort. The doctors office was as small as a cubicle, but it had enough room and equipment to do the basic things needed to do for the celebrities. Everyone left the room except me, he asked me to remove my shirt, which I did before he placed the X-ray machine to my side.

“Please shut your eyes.” He mentioned as I did so before I heard a click.

“You may put your shirt back on.” He offered as I immediately did so before everyone came into the room. The doctor pulled the x-ray sheet from the machine before hooking it up to the light machine on the wall.

“So what’s the verdict?” YG asked seriously standing next to me as the doctor adjusted his glasses.

“She’s got 2 cracked ribs here.” He explained pointing to two that were noticeably cracked.
“It’s not very serious, but if she doesn’t take care of it, it could end up broken.” He explained as I sighed, hanging my head.

“Will she still be able to work?” Selena was the one to ask taking in the little Korean she knew and was still learning.

“Very light work, nothing extreme.” The doctor mentioned to YG who nodded.

“For now, I’ll put a compress on you, prescribe you some pain medication till you guys return from Japan.” He explained pulling out all needed equipment. He placed a compress on my bruise before wrapping my mid-section in a cloth to hold it there.

“I’ll give you more material so change over whenever needed.” He explained as I pulled my shirt down before nodding.

“I can’t promise that the boys won’t find out, it’s in the tabloids, they will see it.” YG informed as I sighed massaging my forehead before nodding. There was nothing I could do about them not finding out, except to act like I was fine.
