Author’s POV…

Hoku woke up earlier than anyone, snuck out of the hotel and into the awaiting van below.

“When does her flight arrive?” She asked over to Mr. Kim who soon took off away from the hotel.

“She should be landing anytime soon.” Mr. Kim explained as Hoku smiled holding her coat closer to her neck.

“Is fall always cold like this?” Hoku asked interested as Mr. Kim laughed and nodded.

“This is actually warm compared to usual.” He added as she chuckled before shaking her head. Daesung had the impression that YG had hired some random face to be in the music video, so he was beyond nervous, but happy that at least Hoku-ah promised she would be there. Hoku was more than excited that she was going to be able to meet an old friend again after a week, she was especially excited for Daesung to see his lead lady finally.

Arriving at the airport, they kept their eyes peeled for her before Hoku’s eyes shot over.

“There.” She said pointing out the windshield as Mr. Kim nodded and drove over to the curb in front of her. Hoku hopped out of the van and around it to the curb.

“Steph!” Hoku shouted excited as the woman waiting quickly looked over before smiling.

“Hoku!” She shouted as the two old friends hugged each other laughing. Steph quickly pulled away in realization before looking at her friend.

“How are you feeling?” she asked gesturing to her side worried as Hoku sighed.

“I’m fine, a lot better.” Hoku reassured as Steph looked at her concerned.

“Don’t worry about it, I’m fine.” Hoku said hugging her again while Mr. Kim had her bags loaded.

“Anyways, this is our driver Mr. Kim. Mr. Kim this is Stephanie Choi.” Hoku introduced as they both bowed to each other.

Before long they were on their way.

“Have you been here before Stephanie-ssi?” Mr. Kim asked over as Steph laughed.

“Just call me Steph, adding the extra makes me feel old.’ Steph explained causing Hoku to laugh. They chatted about everything that went on the week they hadn’t seen each other before finally pulling up to the studio where they were filming the music video.

“So he doesn’t know it’s me yet?” Steph asked climbing out into the chilly air before Hoku smiled and shook her head.

“It’s a surprise. So let’s hurry before he drops dead of anticipation.” Hoku teased grabbing her hand before dragging her into the building. They maneuvered through hallways behind Mr. Kim before coming up on two large doors opened to a room.

“Wow.” Steph whispered as Hoku stood there equally shocked. The team had turned the extra-large studio into something out of their world tour. Giant stage area set up just like the tour, lights and area for the fans to stand.

“They weren’t kidding when he wanted it like the tour.” Hoku mentioned as Steph laughed.

“Oh Hoku-ssi.” A voice said as Hoku looked over to see Yun Hee, the usual makeup artist walking over.

“Morning.” Hoku said bowing as she smiled and bowed back.

“This is Stephanie Choi, she’s the leading lady for Daesung oppa.” Hoku explained as she smiled and bowed.

“I’m Yun Hee, the head makeup artist for Big Bang.” She explained as Stephanie smiled and bowed back.

“Daesung-ssi is in wardrobe so it would be best to get you into makeup quickly so he doesn’t see you.” She mentioned gesturing for us to follow her as we did. We were quickly escorted to a separate room off the studio where the team was setting up for Stephanie’s arrival. Immediately she was pulled into one of the chairs against her will, hair and makeup.

“I’m going to say hi to Daesung oppa alright Steph?” Hoku called over as she looked at her through the mirror, narrowing her eyes.

“Yun Hee unnie will take good care of you; I’ll just be a second.” Hoku reassured just as Yun Hee laughed and nodded in agreement.

Hoku’s POV…

I left Steph’s room, making sure to close the door behind me before I walked back into the studio. There were a bunch of normal looking people standing to the side of the set as I looked at them confused before remembering the concept YG and Daesung had come up with for it.

“Must be the volunteers for fans.” I whispered looking around in interest as I took a few photos of the set before walking over to where I figured to be Deasung’s area.

“Hello?” I called out through the curtain before a familiar head poked out.

“Omo Youngbae oppa?” I said surprised to see him as he smiled.

“Who is it?” Dae’s voice called out from the other side as I smiled at Youngbae.

“He’s dressed.” He mentioned as I sighed in relief before walking in.

“The pizza man!” I shouted as he peeked out of the changing stalls confused.

“Hoku-ah!” He screamed in relief running over to me in his wings get up for a hug. I laughed hugging him back before he quickly pulled away.

“Are you ok? I didn’t hurt you did I?” He asked suddenly panicked as I sighed curling a hair behind my ear.

“I’m fine, the pains almost totally gone.” I reassured taping my slight bruise before he sighed in relief.

“Thank god, or hyung would have killed me.” He said taking a seat on the couch offered before I smiled.

“What are you doing here oppa?” I asked over to Youngbae who was comfortably sitting in one of the makeup chairs.

“Dae needed some moral support today.” He teased causing me to laugh.

“Hey, you both did a Music Video with someone you knew, it’s a little unnerving for me.” He whined causing me to smile before I walked over and took a seat next to him.

“I just brought your leading lady in.” I mentioned as he froze and looked over hesitantly.

“Who is she?” He asked nervously as I smiled and looked to Youngbae’s confused face.

“You won’t be able to meet her till it’s time to film, sorry.” I teased standing before he grabbed my hand.

“Please Hoku-ah.” He whined as I smiled turning to tap his hand in mine.

“You think I would make you suffer?” I asked as he nodded causing me to snort and pull my hand out of his outraged.

“How rude.” I whispered quickly walking out of the room with a large smile.

“Ah Hoku-ah!” Another voice called out before I looked over to see a familiar director waving at me.

“Oh director.” I called surprised as I bowed before he smiled.

“You’re here again.” He pointed out causing me to laugh and nod.

“The leading female is a friend.” I whispered as he nodded before looking around.

“Can I talk to this leading lady?” He whispered as I laughed and nodded leading him to the room.

“Are you decent?” I called out through the crack of the door before Yun Hee opened the door, bowing to the director.

“Where is she?” I asked as Yun Hee gestured over, my jaw almost hit the ground. Her hair was curled, half pinned up while the rest flowed down her back. She looked incredible even though she was just supposed to be a fan in the crowd for Daesung. Tight black leather pants, a teal simple blouse with a gray leather studded jacket over it. Lastly I looked down to her heels, of course, black pump heels with studs coming up the heel at the back.

“Damn.” I spoke shocked as she laughed.

“It looks great right?” She asked looking down to herself before I nodded.

“I think oppa might pass out on stage if you go out like that.” I mentioned causing her to blush before realizing something.

“Oh Steph, this is the Director of the shoot.” I introduced gesturing to him as she quickly bowed respectfully.

“It’s so nice to finally meet the leading lady.” He teased causing me to laugh.

“He was the director at our press release and Jiyong Oppa’s music video shoot.” I explained before she nodded. He sat us down explaining into detail what he wanted to come out of the shoot. Basically it was like some romance story during a concert, Daesung would be singing his ‘Wing’s’ the way he did at the concert, flying over the crowds before his eyes connect with a pair. During the entire shoot camera’s will be set on Steph and Daesung, seeming as if he was singing for her, while she stood there slightly dancing to the music, lip-syncing it and smiling at him. By the end of the Music Video, he would end up in the crowd, directly in front of her.

Daesung’s POV…

My breathing was getting tighter, heavier and louder as I sat in my makeup room waiting.

“Geez bro, chill out! You sound like you’re going to pass out if you continue that.” Bae said over from in front of me as I groaned hanging my head back.

“I already feel like if I go out there I’m going to pass out.” I muttered looking up at the ceiling, listening to the loud voices out in the studio still setting up.

“Just chill, everything will be fine.” Bae reassured as I took a deep breath before nodding.

“Do you know who it is?” I asked over interested as he sighed, looking over from his phone before shaking his head.

“If I knew, I would tell you.” He added as I nodded annoyed.

“It’s time.” Our stylist announced from the door causing me to sigh and stand up.

“Bro, it’s alright.” Bae mentioned putting his hands on my shoulders from behind.

“You’re right.” I agreed sighing, taking a deep breath before I finally walked out into the studio. I stood on stage just as if I were getting ready for my number on the tour, wings waiting for me below, harness set up, dancers in place as I waited.

“Alright Daesung-ssi, go through the performance as normal, make sure to interact with the fans as you would.” The director started as I nodded from my spot.

“The camera will zoom in to you at the top, once you come down from there, make your entrance through the doors.” He explained as I looked down and nodded in understanding.

“Once you make it to the stage, we’re going to zoom in on your eyes interacting with a certain person in the crowd, you’re leading lady.” He offered as I swallowed loudly before nodding.

“I want you to almost freeze on stage, like your heart is being drawn to her, alright?” He asked as I nodded confused.

“Do you still need to sing?” I asked over as he spoke to one of the others next to him.

“On the first ‘ya-ya-ya-ya’, that’s when you’ll freeze so that the backup singers can take over. Blink repeatedly before looking away and going back to the performance.” He added as I nodded getting ready. The song soon started as I began singing with all my feelings pouring out of me. The stand I was positioned on began to lower as I made my entrance through the two doors. The part was soon approaching as I remembered that the director had not told me where to look till my eyes scanned the audience and shot open on someone I was not expecting to see. I froze, my hear froze, my eyes grew, and the song moved on. She just simply smiled at me, dancing in her small area with my fans surrounding her. It was like a scene out of a romance drama.

“CUT!” The director shouted breaking my trance as I noticed the song’s lyrics were still going on.

“Is there a problem Daesung-ssi?” He asked over causing me to blush and shake my head.

“I was just surprised, that’s all.” I mentioned embarrassed looking over to Hoku-ah and Bae who were laughing in the back.

“Ok, starting from the spot we left off, Daesung-ssi, it’ll be just like the tour, but I want you to continually steal glances towards her.” The director explained as I looked down to Steph to see a camera was being set up directly in front of her.

“Stephanie-ssi, I just want you to dance gently, smiling up at him.” He explained down to her as she smiled up to me. We continued the shoot, I sang peeking over at her, immediately smiling when I saw that she was also singing along with my song. Before long it was time for me to get hooked up to the harness. They hooked the wings up to my back quickly as I walked over, grabbing the pole hanging from the ceiling still singing. I floated above the small audience I had singing before the pole began to slowly lower into the crowd. I stepped off, still dressed in my wings as I smiled at the girl now standing in front of me.

I sang smiling the last part before she looked down embarrassed, smiling up to me one last time. As instructed I stepped forward and pulled her tightly into my arms engulfing me with her intoxicating scent. This girl…….
