Author’s POV…

Hoku was dead set on getting Selena back in time for the awards, even if she had to use her own money to fly over and drag her back, she missed that smile on Seungri’s face that no longer lit up the room. As for the issue with Eden, that was still undecided.

Ring~ring

A phone rang loudly in the rehearsal room causing Big Bang and dancers to freeze on the spot of rehearsing before looking around the room.

“Whose phone?” Jiyong snapped looking around the room. Everyone present knew the rule about no phones during rehearsal. Hoku being the only one not a dancer or coordi in the room, since Tyra and Eden had left to get drinks for everyone, she stood up and began walking towards the noise. Hoku stopped at Tyra’s jacket digging through it to see that it wasn’t Tyra’s but Eden’s. Turning the screen so that she could see the caller ID on it, she hissed when she saw the number on it.

“Bastard.” Hoku cursed, looking over to the guys who looked at her confused.

“I’ll be outside.” She mentioned over to Jiyong who hesitantly nodded to her, watching in confusion as she walked out, shutting the door behind her.

“What’s going on?” Daesung asked confused as Jiyong continued to stare at the door in thought.

“That was Eden’s phone wasn’t it?” Taeyang then asked as TOP nodded. That’s when it clicked.

Hoku ran out of the room, making sure that no one was around before finally answering on the last ring.

“Hello?” She asked trying to sound polite before that familiar husky disgusting voice answered.

“Eden?” He asked expectantly only causing Hoku to chuckle evilly.

“You so wish it was her that answered.” Hoku threatened as the line went quiet.

“Hoku, where’s Eden?” He then asked seriously as Hoku scoffed.

“What? No ‘Hey !’ or ‘What up hoe?’” Hoku asked sarcastically pissed at his arrogant voice.

“No, sorry, not worth my time.” He retorted causing her blood to boil even higher.

“Why you good for nothing bastard, you got some nerve calling her.” Hoku snapped, not being able to hold it in anymore as she felt a presence around her, hesitantly looking over to see that Big Bang was now in the hallway watching her, probably since Jiyong knew who it was.

“And why can’t I call her?” He then asked, she could care less if Big Bang was present for any of this anymore.

“Why? Why? You really are the biggest and proudest man I know.” Hoku spat irritated as Blake laughed.

“Well, I know y’all are in Korea right now, so just called to let you know, I’ll be in tonight to take back what is rightfully mine.” He then said causing Hoku’s eyes to shoot open.

“What? You’re coming here? For what?!” She snapped, yelling into the phone as Blake laughed.

“Did I forget to tell you? My father has business in Korea. So I’ll be joining him.” He explained as Hoku hissed, grabbing at her head viciously, uncaring of the pain that was now running through her head.

“You listen to me , if I find you near Eden, I will rip your balls off and feed them to you. What my brothers did to you last time will feel like kids play compared to what I’ll do to you.” Hoku threatened causing Big Bang to stand there in shock.

“Yah, whatever. Keep spouting your nonsense talk. You’re a celebrity now, you can’t do jack to me anymore without hurting your image or your man .” He teased causing Hoku to finally snapped beyond belief.

“If you call him that one more time, I’ll get you, believe me, test me, I’ll find your good for nothing sack of trash and kill you. You don’t talk about Jiyong like that!” Hoku snapped hanging up the phone angrily before tossing it at the wall across from her.

“Hey! Hey! Hey!” Jiyong rushed over finally to her side, confused and worried. Hoku couldn’t hold it in anymore; she collapsed into a heap on the floor, in tears.

“Noona, what happened?” Seungri ran over worried as Hoku ignored them, holding her knees to her chest before Jiyong wrapped his arms around her, pulling her carefully into his chest, protectively.

“Baby, calm down.” Jiyong whispered as Hoku continued to cry.

“What’s going on Jiyong?” Top asked as Jiyong continued to pat her back before looking to s.

“I’m calling it a night; I think there are a few things we should talk about.” Jiyong mentioned as the members hesitantly nodded before clearing out the rehearsal room.

“Hey? What happened?” Tyra and Eden finally arrived both of them running over to Hoku’s side. Jiyong had carried her into the empty rehearsal room, in his arms while the members sat on the ground still confused by the situation.

“Someone called on Eden-ssi phone.” Daesung pointed out while Tyra’s eyes shot open and over to her jacket where it was sitting. She quickly opened it, going through the recent callers before she cursed.

“.” She hissed slamming it shut before turning to everyone else.

“What’s going on?” Top asked walking over to Tyra’s side.

“Hoku, what did he want?” Tyra asked as Eden took a quiet seat by herself. Hoku sniffled a bit before finally pulling away from Jiyong’s chest. Everyone was taken back a bit by the expression painted across her face. It wasn’t had or scared as everyone had thought it would be, nope, she was beyond pissed.

“He’s coming here.” Hoku said as Eden froze in her chair while Tyra pushed Top’s hug out of the way before marching over.

“WHAT?!” She shouted as Hoku sniffled a bit before nodding.

“He said he’s coming because his father has business here. He’ll be here tonight.” Hoku explained in monotone staring down to her heels as Tyra angrily pulled at her hair. Eden on the other hand, stared emotionlessly down to her jeans, unable to pull any emotions out.

“What’s going on?” Taeyang asked noticing Eden’s composure as Hoku stood sighing, wiping her tears carefully.

“Eden’s ex.” Tyra mentioned as everyone looked at them surprised.

“Ok.” Top added unsure as to what was going on.

“Let’s give you the short version of the issue. He’s a good for nothing, ungrateful, uncaring bastard that deserves to die and burn in hell.” Hoku hissed as Seungri flinched in reflex before heavily swallowing.

“I think we got that from the way you were cursing at him in the hallway.” Daesung pointed out before Hoku’s eyes turned to him, no longer the caring, refreshing emotions, something everyone was seriously surprised to see, pure hate.

“I need to get some air.” Eden said finally as everyone turned to her.

“Tyra go with her.” Hoku instructed as Tyra nodded quickly running to catch up with her.

“Noona, what’s going on?” Seungri asked softly as Hoku plopped back down on her spot next to Jiyong.

“His name is Blake, he was Eden’s High School sweetheart.” Hoku explained as everyone nodded in understanding while Taeyang turned his attention to his shoes, playing with the laces.

“I’m guessing from that, things didn’t end well between the two?” Top asked as Hoku sighed looking up to the guys before she noticed Taeyang wasn’t even listening.

“Youngbae oppa?” She called out as he looked up immediately.

“Hm?” he answered while Hoku looked to Jiyong then back to him.

“Do you like Eden?” She asked quickly before he flinched in surprise before looking around the room to the expectant faces.

“Um.” He spoke embarrassed before Top kicked him gently.

“What…ugh, fine, I do.” He admitted embarrassed in a huff before Hoku nodded.

“How serious are you about her? Is it just a normal crush or are you planning on asking her out?” Hoku then asked as Taeyang shrugged.

“Bae, I’m sorry about pressuring you, but I really have to know now.” Hoku explained before Taeyang sighed.

“Hyung, we all know you like her.” Seungri pointed out before Taeyang hissed in his direction to shut him up.

“Alright, I was planning to ask her out.” He offered before Hoku nodded in agreement.

“What’s going on Hoku-ah?” Daesung asked during the long silence.

“This Blake person, yes, he was her high school sweetheart. She loved him more than I had ever seen someone like another before. She used to call him ‘the one’; you know that saying when you find ‘the one’? The one you were destined to meet and fall in love with till the end of time?” Hoku asked as the guys nodded, Taeyang nodding in jealousy, not liking what he was hearing.

“Well Tyra and I knew and found out things about him. At first we didn’t mind him, but after a few months of them going out, he started to change.” Hoku whispered massaging her fingers before Jiyong reached over and held her hand in his, calming her down almost instantly.

“Change?” Taeyang asked suddenly interested.

“He started to keep Eden for himself. He stopped letting her hang out with us, or let her go out with us to the point that we would actually have to randomly show up at her house and kidnap her unwillingly. But he always found her, and then when we saw her next she would be bruised or cut up.” Hoku whispered the last part as the guys eyes shot open. Taeyang could feel his heart quicken with all the info he was taking in, his attention turned to the door where the 2 disappeared before he shut his eyes, trying to control the need to run out to her.

“Oh my god.” Daesung said shocked as Hoku sighed.

“We tried to get her to leave him, but she always forgave him and took him back.” Hoku whispered upset as everyone turned their attention to Taeyang who was sitting unusually quiet in the middle of the room.

“Finally we had enough and took her away from him; I broke it off between the two. He was clearly pissed but I didn’t care. Eden’s older brother Sheldon, I explained the situation to him. He actually went out that same night to find him, but lucky him, Blake was out of state for a game or something.” Hoku explained.

“But one night, Eden had slept over my house with Tyra. He broke into our house to get her, but he didn’t expect my brothers to be home. They beat the crap out of him and left him somewhere; we haven’t seen or heard from him since.” Hoku explained finally looking up to the speechless and surprised expressions of the men in the room.

“That’s why I asked what I asked Youngbae oppa.” Hoku then said as Taeyang looked up, a serious expression painted across his face.

“He’s coming here tonight to claim her back, if you care for her as much as you say you do…..” Hoku started before Taeyang interrupted nodding.

“I won’t let him take her from me.” He whispered as the guys all stared at him surprised to see this side of him.

“He knows about me and Jiyong, he knows I can’t do anything to him unless he gives me a reason to hit him. He knows it’ll hurt Jiyong’s image.” Hoku added before Jiyong massaged her fingers.

“I won’t let him hurt my friend again, but what I can do is limited. But if it gets serious, I’m sorry Jiyongie, but I won’t let my friend suffer a second time.” Hoku then said seriously over to Jiyong who just nodded in understanding.

“It’s alright baby. I understand, I don’t care about my image, but I won’t let him hurt you either. You’ve been through enough.” Jiyong mentioned leaning forward and comfortingly kissing her forehead.  There was a storm heading for Korea this time, Blake, coming to take back what he deemed his. No one was going to let him have what he wanted, no matter how much he fought.
