Author’s POV…

Hoku was both heartbroken and upset that her decision had led to where she was now, randomly walking the streets of Seoul. After running out of the rehearsal room, she took off into the streets without letting anyone know. She knew that somehow when and if the guys found out they would take it one of two ways, either they would be upset as some of them had seemed or two, they would end up actually worried about her. Hoku sighed as she walked down a road filled with different restaurants and shops.

Jiyong on the other hand watched as the girl he held important to him walked out of the room. He was so upset that she refused to tell him about her injury and on top of that, the media knew before him. He felt slightly betrayed but at the same time worried, he didn’t know how serious it was.

“Bro, she just didn’t want you to worry.” Taeyang explained taking a seat next to Jiyong whose head was hanging between his legs.

“She should have told me.” Jiyong whined holding his head between his hands.

“She really didn’t want you to worry Jiyong-ssi, with your promotions coming up I’m sure she didn’t want to add more to your plate.” Eden carefully defended her friend.

“I wonder if Noona is ok?” Seungri whispered looking to the door.

“She only cracked her ribs; she’s been wearing a compress and taking pain pills from the doctor. He said she would be fine.” Selena explained as everyone looked to her.

“You knew?” Jiyong asked in a hiss while she rolled her eyes.

“You can spat at me all you want, but she was looking out for the band.” Selena spat back causing the room to go quiet.

“If you like her so much, you would understand where she was coming from. I’m sure you would have hid it too.” Selena explained while Jiyong sat there letting what she had said sink in. In the end, he had to be honest he probably would have done the same to keep her from worrying. He sighed standing as everyone looked to him to see what he was about to do.

“I’m going to look for her.” He mentioned while Selena ran back into the room.

“Hoku’s gone.” She said seriously as everyone looked at each other worried.

“She’s not answering her phone.” Tyra mentioned holding up her phone causing the guys all to rush out of the room in search of her.

“Damn it.” Jiyong mumbled as he ran out of YG’s office after letting him know Hoku had ran off.

Hoku walked through the streets before coming up on a side food stand that was selling something that smelts absolutely delicious. She walked over in interest as the elder woman behind the counter smiled and bowed her head. Hoku in turn bowed back in respect before taking a seat on the free stool.

“You look like you need this.” The woman offered passing a small bowl full of a red soup looking thing.

“What is it?” Hoku asked unsure as the woman smiled.

“You’re not from around here, are you?” She asked amused as Hoku laughed embarrass before shaking her head.

“That’s Dukbokgi child.” The woman explained as Hoku nodded in understanding, knowing what it was from the name. Hoku took a spoon, dipping it into the sauce before sipping it. She sighed content before smiling at the woman’s expectant face.

“It’s delicious.” Hoku praised causing the woman to smile and nod.

“Where are you from?” The woman asked while Hoku continued to eat.

“The states.” Hoku said as the woman nodded interested.

“Then what are you doing here?” She asked as Hoku laughed covering with her napkin.

“I’m working.” Hoku explained easily as the woman nodded.

“If I’m not sounding too rude, it looked like you had something serious on your mind when you were walking over.” The woman asked gesturing with her hand the route Hoku had taken to get here. Hoku looked back to where she was pointing before smiling to the woman.

“I’ve had a long day.” Hoku explained sighed as the woman nodded smiling.

“A beautiful woman like you must have a boyfriend worried sick.” She mentioned causing Hoku to laugh down to her half full bowl.

“Probably not, he’s upset with me.” Hoku explained stirring the spoon around the bowl a few times.

“Wanna talk about it?” She asked as she continued to cook.

“I kept something hidden from him so I wouldn’t burden him more than his work already is. He somehow found out today and was really upset.” Hoku whispered as the woman nodded.

“I’m sure he was just upset because he wanted to be there to help you.” She pointed out causing Hoku to sigh when she felt her phone vibrating in her bag for the thousandths time this afternoon.

“What is it, if I might ask?” the woman asked as Hoku looked up.

“I got hurt the other day, it was a lot serious than anyone knew. But he found out how serious it was, now he’s upset.” Hoku explained as the woman nodded.

“Dear, I’m sure when he came around as sounding upset, he was actually upset that he couldn’t do anything to make things right with you. He’s probably worried sick that you’re hurting more than you show, and there’s nothing he can do if you don’t tell him. He’s hurting too.” The woman explained causing Hoku to nod in understanding.

Hoku thanked the woman, paid for her meal before walking off, not sure where to but somewhere. Before she knew it, it was getting dark where ever she was, packed with clubs and bars.

“Great, great place to end up.” She whispered to herself as she kept her head down to avoid any eye contact with anyone before the godforsaken sound of whistling could be heard directed at her.

Jiyong, Big Bang, the US Team and Big Bang’s dancers all spilt up through town to find Hoku while YG was calling all known sources.

“You think she would have come this way?” Top asked as they searched through the restaurants lined up and down the street. There was a particular food stand that just stood out to him with an elder woman sitting behind it. As Youngbae, Top and Seungri searched across the street, Jiyong walked over to the restaurant. The woman looked up to him with a smile before her eyes opened in shock.

“Ah Jiyong-ssi, it’s such an honor to meet you.” She said wiping her hands on her apron before holding her hand out to shake his. He smiled, bowed his head respectfully before shaking her hand in return.

“Here, have a seat, eat.” She urged causing him to laugh and shake his head.

“Actually, I’m looking for someone.” He mentioned as she stopped midway of preparing a bowl to look at him confused.

“Someone?” She asked as he sighed and nodded, pulling out his phone to show a picture he had of a clip of their music video as his wallpaper.

“I’m looking for this girl, have you seen her walking anywhere?” He asked with a slightly worried expression before her eyes shot open in realization.

“You’re her boyfriend Jiyong-ssi?” She asked as he nodded confused.

“How did you know?” He asked as she smiled.

“She’s hurting because she hurt you.” She mentioned before his eyes shot open.

“She didn’t mean to hurt you, from the looks of it, she loves you a lot.” She praised before looking at her desperately.

“Where did she go?” He asked as she pointed up the street.

“She went that way about 45 minutes ago.” She explained as Jiyong quickly bowed running out, grabbing the members before running up the street in search of her.

Hoku’s POV…

I had ended up in the wrong part of town, just as I had guessed. For the past 10 minutes, these drunkards had been following me, trying to get my attention as I quickly tried to out walk them. Being that I was still healing, being out of breath was like taking a few hits to my side, only causing me to gasp before a hand yanked me back. I yelped in pain when a strong arm wrapped around my waist tightly. I cried out in pain as another hand covered my mouth. All I could smell was the strong scent of alcohol and it was making it twice as hard to breathe.

“Oh, isn’t she a pretty one?” One asked as I opened my tear stricken eyes to see 2 other men smirking in front of me.

“Where are you from beautiful?” The one to the right asked, leaning forward, grabbing my chin as he kissed my cheek. I yanked my head away from him, causing them to laugh amused before the one holding me, held me tighter. I cried out in worse pain, letting the tears fall down my cheeks.

“Why are you crying? Don’t worry we’ll make it enjoyable.” The other whispered twirling my hair in his finger.

“DON’T TOUCH HER!!!” A voice shouted as I looked over through tears to see Jiyong, Top, Youngbae and Seungri running over. The one holding me held me tighter as I screamed through his hand in pain, shutting my eyes tightly.

“LET HER GO!” They shouted as the man holding me laughed. Everything happened too fast for me to comprehend, before I knew it, I was being tossed to the ground mercilessly as I gasped for air holding my sides. A few minutes of yelling before silence, while I tried to gasp any air. It was painful to breathe, my hand naturally held my side as I cringed on the pavement.

“Hoku, Hoku!” A voice panicked as I grasped onto the ground with my fists.

“Noona, are you alright?” Seungri asked panicked as I groaned before letting go of a painful breath.

“I need my pain pills.” I whispered begging while someone began to dig through my bag.

“Here, here, take it.” A voice said shoving the horse like pill at me before I shoved it in my mouth, chugging the water offered before sighing as I leaned against a wall behind me.

“Are you alright?” A voice asked as I looked out my eyes to see them all looking at me worried.

“I’ll be fine.” I groaned pulling up my shirt to adjust my compress.

“Ya! Don’t look.” Jiyong scolded causing me to laugh dryly.

“I’m sorry I got mad at you.” Jiyong apologized while I looked up to him from under my bangs.

“It’s not that I didn’t want to tell you, I just knew you would worry more than rehearse.” I explained as he sighed, smiling at me.

“I’m sorry.” He whispered gently hugging me while I rested my chin on his shoulder.

“Shut up.” I muttered smiling while the others laughed. My knight in shining armor once again.
