Hoku’s POV…

My mother looked as if she had seen a ghost when she opened the door. It took her a minute to realize who I was before she began screaming, most likely getting everyone’s attention. She ripped me away from Jiyong and pulled me into a suffocating hug.

“OH MY GOD!” She yelled through tears while I laughed and patted her back seeing everyone run into the entryway from the kitchen area. Kawika looked at me in surprise along with the others before my father walked over and shook Jiyong’s hand, letting him into the house.

“What are you doing here?” My mother asked through tears pulling away from me while I hugged my brothers, I had to admit, I was tearing up a bit.

“We came to see you guys.” I informed reaching over and grabbing Jiyong’s hand, knowing that he was suddenly feeling uncomfortable.
“Nice seeing you again Jiyong.” Kona spoke shaking Jiyong’s hand.

“Oh my goodness, is this your boyfriend? The idol man?” My mother chirped causing me to blush embarrassed. From the look on Aubrey’s face, she knew exactly who he was.

“Mom, this is Jiyong, or you can call him GD. Ji, this is my mom.” I introduced while my mother without warning pulled him into a hug.

“Oh it’s so nice to finally meet you. I’m Paula.” She mentioned pulling away from him before standing next to him.

“This is my older brother Kawika.” I introduced as they shook hands.

“This is Kona’s girlfriend, Aubrey.” I added before she giggled shaking his hand eagerly.

“I’m such a huge fan of yours, thanks to Hoku.” She mentioned causing me to snort.

“A fan is an understatement.” I whispered teasingly over to Jiyong while Aubrey gasped before slapping my arm playfully.

“This is Kai, he’s Seungri’s age and I’m guessing this is Britney?” I said gesturing over to the girl who just nodded.

“How about we move this reunion to the living room?” Kai spoke over as I made eye contact with the girl standing next to him, for some reason she looked speechless and on top of that slightly nervous.

“Did you guys eat yet?” My mother asked immediately before we both shook our heads.

“Perfect, dining room.” She announced while I laughed, holding Jiyong’s hand before we walked into our dining room. My dad add two chairs along with my mother bringing out 2 extra plates full of food, looks like it was steak night here.

“Are you ok with steak son?” My mother asked causing me to blush and whine.

“Mom, his name is GD.” I whined causing her to shoo me away.

“It’s alright Mrs. Fernandez.” He spoke respectfully from next to me causing her to giggle.

“You are very handsome GD.” She admired across the table before I sighed massaging my head.

“Mom, stop staring at him.” I whined again while he laughed and patted my thigh.

“It’s alright. I don’t mind.” He mentioned before I nodded going back to eating my food.

“I just spoke to you the other night, when did you get in?” Kona asked from next to Jiyong before I smiled.

“We had some business to attend to here, so we’ve been in the states since Friday night.” I explained before everyone nodded.

“Well how did the investigation go?” My father asked before myself and Jiyong nodded.

“Hoku solved the entire thing.” Jiyong praised as my father nodded.

“Oh my god dear, that reminds me. How are your injuries?” She asked panicking reaching over the table before my father grasped her waist to bring her back to her seat.

“Mom, I’m fine. My stitches already got removed and my ribs are fine.” I reassured while she sighed, nodding before taking a seat.

“Well it’s so nice to finally meet you GD.” My mother chirped as he smiled.

“It’s so nice to finally meet you all too.” He answered back.

“So how long have you and Britney been dating Kai?” I asked interested looking to the girl nervously sitting there then to him.

“A few weeks.” He mentioned before I nodded.

“So how has Korea been so far?” Kawika changed the subject as I turned my attention to him.

“It’s fun, we’ve been really busy with Big Bang’s schedules and activities.” I explained while they all listened in interest. The family asked every possible question about their activities especially Aubrey since she was a fanatic of the groups. We retired to the giant living room, myself and Jiyong sitting on the loveseat, holding hands.

“Mind if I take a picture of the both of you?” My mother than asked walking into the room with her infamous camera.

“Oh god, mom.” I whined while Jiyong laughed letting me hide my face into his sweater.

“I’m so sorry, my mom has a nag for photos.” I whispered explaining before he laughed and nodded.

“Seems like someone I know.” He teased before I elbowed him.

“Excuse me, it’s my job.” I snorted before he wrapped his left arm around my shoulder.

“Is it alright? Or is there some sort of policy?” My mother asked Jiyong who shook his head.

“No, it’s fine.” He said holding my right hand with his.

“Alright, smile.” She said as we turned to her smiling.

“Oh, you guys are so adorable.” She sang before I snorted.

“What does your sister do?” I heard Britney ask Kai before I answered.

“Do you know what Kpop is?” I asked over interrupting their conversation before she turned to me.

“Yes.” She spoke before I smiled.

“This guy here is a singer there, I work for their American Fan Club. So I’ve been in Korea for the last couple months with them.” I explained before she nodded in understanding.

“What do you do for them?” She then asked as I got comfortable.

“I take pictures, videos, set up things for their fans stateside.” I explained before she nodded. This girl was coming across as one of those that were dumber than a doorknob.
“So when are you guys going back to Korea?” My father asked as I looked over to him.

“We’re actually leaving on Tuesday morning but we’re going to Hong Kong.” I explained before my mother snapped her fingers.

“I already programmed the DVR for the awards.” Kona interrupted before I laughed and nodded. That’s when we began hearing a scratching noise.

“Oh, is that Lexy?” I asked in realization, shooting off the couch before running over to the porch door, opening it before my small brown and black terrier ran in.

“Oh my god, you got so big. Hi girl.” I chirped picking her off the ground before hugging her tightly. Everyone laughed at my overly dramatic reunion before I walked over with her to sit next to Jiyong.

“This is Lexy. Lexy this is my boyfriend Jiyong.” I said holding her next to my face while we looked at him. He just laughed and took one of her paws before shaking it.

“You like dogs?” Kai asked over before I snorted, letting Lexy sit in my lap.

“He has the cutest sharpie pup I have ever seen.” I cooed petting Lexy’s coat a few times.

“I need to get him a friend soon. He’s driving everyone nuts back home.” Jiyong joked while Lexy climbed on his lap before laying on his chest. I squealed at the adorableness, yanking my phone out of my pocket before taking a quick picture of the few.

“Hoku?” A voice called over while I looked to see Aubrey standing from the couch and gesturing for me to follow.

“I’ll be right back alright.” I let Jiyong know before he nodded. I stood up walking past everyone into the kitchen before Aubrey about jumped me.

“Oh my god, what’s wrong with you?” I asked surprised, shrugging her off of me.

“Can I please get a picture with him?” She begged before I blinked in shock.

“You called me in here for that?” I asked flabbergasted before she hit me playfully.

“Please.” She begged before I broke out laughing, grabbing her hand before I practically dragged her into the living room where everyone turned to us confused.

“Jiyong.” I called out as he looked up to me from the puppy in his lap.

“Aubrey asked for a picture with you.” I said calmly while she whined from behind me. Everyone basically broke out laughing as Jiyong stood from his seat and walked over to me.

“I don’t mind.” He said this time speaking over to Aubrey who blushed and nodded. I took her phone from her before walking in front to take a picture. She stood awkwardly next to Jiyong who looked like he just walked out of a magazine spread.

“Get closer! He’s not going to bite!” I shouted annoyed walking over before pushing her towards him. He teasingly wrapped an arm around her shoulder before smiling towards me.

“Better.” I said nodding in agreement before returning to my rightful spot to take the photo.

“1, 2, 3.” I counted taking the picture before handing it back to her.

“Now with you too.” She said tossing her phone to Kona before pulling me next to her and Jiyong. We took a few pictures before finally I noticed Jiyong’s yawn again.

“Well guys, I think it’s time to call it a night.” I announced standing and stretching while everyone looked to me.

“Awh, do you have to leave?” My mom whined standing from her seat before walking over to give me a hug.

“We can hang out tomorrow if you guys want to, we’re staying at the Hilton in town. Just call me.” I reassured her before she nodded. We took our leave finally as my family packed onto the porch to see us off.

“I like your family.” Jiyong spoke as we pulled away from the house.

“They seem to like you too.” I pointed out to him before he laughed.

“I hope so.” He whispered before I laughed again.
