Author’s POV…

Hoku and Kawika escorted them to the hotel the group would be staying at. Hoku cried the entire way while Kawika massaged her knee comfortingly. They pulled up in front of the lobby area of the hotel,  Hoku sniffled a bit, grabbing a napkin quick before pulling down the personal mirror above her. Pulling her glasses off, Kawika looked at her concerned.

“Sis, you need to stop this.” He whined as she sighed, fixing her makeup.

“You look sick and on top of that, it doesn’t look like you’ve slept in 2 weeks.” Kawika spoke concerned for his sister’s well-being.

“Kawika, stay in the car. I have to check in the group.” Hoku spoke uncaring to her brothers begs. She climbed out of the car, making sure to have her glasses in place as she walked into the hotel, not sparing a side glance to the SUV’s waiting behind her.

“Welcome to the Hilton? Are you checking in?” The man behind the counter asked smirking down at Hoku who in turned rolled her eyes.

“I’m from the group YG, we have a huge group that is scheduled to check in this morning.” She explained professionally pulling out her badge before handing it to her new fan boy.

“Let me check you in then.” He offered going to work on the computer while she sighed, massaging her head.

“Alright so we have 8 rooms and 1 suite booked for your group?” He asked as she looked up and nodded in agreement.

“Do you need any help bringing their bags up?” He asked as Hoku smiled and nodded.

“Yes please.” Hoku answered as he ran a bell gesturing for the bellhops to come over with their carts.

“She is part of a very important group staying with us this weekend, please assist them in getting their bags up to their rooms on the 13^th floor.” The man spoke as they nodded and followed her out. The first van she went to were the dancers.

“Alright guys, everything is set up. You guys are free today.” Hoku spoke into the van smiling as they all piled out.

“They’ll help you get your bags upstairs.” Hoku gestured to the 2 bellhops, before walking over to where the managers and stylists were standing.

“Your rooms are booked, these gentlemen will help you take things up.” She mentioned as they nodded and began loading their things onto the carts offered.

She walked over to her friends SUV and pulled open the door.

“Guys, we’re just unloading your bags up to the rooms, then we’ll head out to the shoot.” Hoku explained as Steph shot out of the van and pulled her into a hug. She chuckled against Steph’s shoulder before patting her back.

“Alright, alright, I know you guys miss me but we’re running behind schedule.” Hoku whined as they nodded, climbing out before letting the bellhops load their bags.

“Hoku, are you ok?” Hoku’s cousins voice nagged as Hoku turned to her putting her fake smile on.

“What are you talking about? I’m fine, a little tired because of all the work, but I’m good.” She chirped as everyone looked at her not believing one word she was saying.

“Now hurry up or the guys will be late.” Hoku whined walking away to open the next car.

Last but not least Hoku walked over to Big Bang’s SUV, pulling open the back door to see Top oppa turn to her.

“You guys are checked in, if you guys want to take your bags up before we leave for the shoot, these men will help you.” Hoku offered gesturing to the men waiting patiently at the curb.

“Alright.” Youngbae agree while she stepped back allowing them room to climb out.

“We’ll head to the shoot as soon as you guys get back.” Hoku mentioned walking away towards her car before she felt a hand on hers. Hoku immediately froze, feeling the familiar warmth and hand full of rings, tears threatening to fall once again.

“Hoku.” His voice whispered as she bit her lip never turning to him before she saw Kawika out of the driver’s side marching over.

“It’s best you don’t touch her.” Her brother warned threateningly as Jiyong’s hand soon left hers.

“You hurt her, stay away from her.” He warned putting a hand around her shoulder before ushering her towards the car.

“Kawika, I’m fine.” Hoku whispered walking around to the driver’s side of the car.

Jiyong stood there in surprise and frozen, watching as the person he wanted to give everything up for, walked away with her new guard, her brother. Jiyong’s was pulled out of his depression by a hand on his shoulder, hesitantly he turned to see s looking at him in sympathy.

“Give it some time bro.” Youngbae mentioned as Jiyong sighed, pulling his glasses down to hide his eyes.

“You’ll get a chance to tell her what really happened Ji, just give her some space for now.” Top mentioned over to his friend who stood there like a corpse.

“How I can I give the one thing that makes me happy, space?” he whispered grabbing his bags from the front seat before following the bellhops into the hotel.

“You think we should go and tell noona?” Seungri asked the hyungs who in turned shook their heads.

“As much as I would want to, as much as I want them together, I think it’s best if Jiyong tells her.” Daesung explained as the members nodded agreeing.

“They still have time to patch things up, she’ll be with us for the next 2 weeks.” Youngbae added as the members chuckled. The guys followed the bellhops up to their rooms, grabbing their necessities before heading back down to the lobby area and into the waiting SUVs.

“You sure you don’t want me to drive?” Kawika asked as Hoku sighed and shook her head.

“You don’t know where we’re going so it’s fine.” She whispered seeing that all the members had finally climbed into the SUV behind her signaling her for to leave. They followed her through town to Hollywood before pulling up in a tight alley.

“Where are we?” Kawika asked as Hoku carefully parked her car, giving enough room to the 3 SUV’s behind her.

“Chrome Hearts.” She answered climbing out into the slightly chilly air. Looking back at the SUV’s being unloaded, she walked to the back door of her car, pulling it open before smiling at the whining pup in her cage.

“Alright, alright, it’s time to come out now.” Hoku chirped pulling open the cage before pulling the clothed pup out and into her arms.

“Can you grab her bag and bed?” Hoku asked Kawika who nodded and grabbed the said things before shutting the door. Looking over to everyone, she walked over to the back door, opening it before walking in with Kawika behind her. While she had been here with Jiyong back before the awards, she had made friends with the owner of the brand, surprisingly, and then while she was around making Big Bang’s schedule last week, she had spent some of her time in here, chatting with the guys about the shoot.

“Hey guys.” She announced walking into the studio area that was already being set up, the guys in front of the computers looked up before smiling.

“And there she is!” Mikey the owner of the store announced smiling. [Author’s Note: Totally made up the name, didn’t want to use the actual name so just roll with it.] Hoku smiled walking over before hugging the man she had spent most of the week with.

“I thought you all weren’t going to show up.” He joked causing her to laugh and for him to immediately begin petting Jolie.

“Oh Jolie, you grew in the last few days.” He chirped causing Hoku to laugh.

“Oh, this is my brother Kawika, he’s escorting me through the activities.” Hoku introduced as Mikey reached over to shake his hand.

“Looks more like your bodyguard to me.” Mikey whispered before Hoku chuckled handing Kawika the pup as Big Bang, the team and their stylists walked in to the building.

“And there they are!” Mikey announced walking over to the familiar members.

“Thank you so much for doing this for me.” He thanked the members once again for shooting for his new clothing.

“No problem.” Youngbae answered as Hoku walked over to a free seat, taking a seat while Jolie sat at her feet. Sitting at the far end table, Hoku could feel the various stares directed at her from various sides of the room, she refused to look over and got to work on her laptop. Then she felt someone sit next to her. Looking up she smiled to see Youngbae-ah.

“Oh oppa.” She said surprised going back to working on her email.

“How are you?” He asked as she smiled her fake smile and nodded.

“I’m fine.” She answered calmly making sure that her glasses were hiding what was necessary.

“Omo, is this Jolie?” He said shocked by the pup that had climbed up onto his lap. She chuckled and looked over to see Jolie staring up at Youngbae excited.

“Jolie, tell Uncle Bae hi.” Hoku teased as Youngbae chuckled petting the pups wrinkles.

“She’s getting so big.” He pointed out as Hoku nodded and turned to the computer.

“Hey oppa, do you know if either your stylists or the girls brought the things for the raffle?” Hoku asked over as Youngbae looked up and nodded.

“If that’s what I think it was, Selena had packed a box of things she asked us to sign.” He offered as Hoku nodded in relief before turning to the computer.

“Hoku-ah.” He suddenly spoke as she looked over, halting her typing.

“Hm?” she answered as he sighed looking up from the pup.

“You really need to let Jiyong talk to you.” He said as her heart froze along with her breathing.

“What?” she whispered moments from crying as he looked at her worried.

“Hoku-ah, something happened in Korea that you really need to know about.” He whispered as she quickly turned away going back to work.

“Oppa, do me a favor and please don’t talk about any of that while you’re here.’ She begged in a small voice before Youngbae reached over and patted her head.

“Trust oppa, alright?” He asked not waiting for an answer before we walked away back to the shoot.

Jiyong watched from the mirror her was currently sitting in front of, getting his hair done, as Youngbae walked over to where Hoku was sitting and began talking to her.

“Give her some time Oppa.” A voice interrupted him as he side eyed to see Steph working on Daesung in the next chair.

“I’m trying to, but it’s difficult.” Jiyong mentioned annoyed, shutting his eyes.

“Just give her some time, you would understand if you were in her shoes.” She then mentioned before Jiyong nodded.

“Would you want to speak to her or let alone see her if she did what you did?” Top hyung then asked while Jiyong opened his eyes.

“I would probably have gone on a killing spree.” He mentioned causing them to chuckle.

“Just be happy she’s staying around, I’m surprised she even gave you the light of day to see her.” Selena then interjected from behind him as he looked over.

“I’m sure that’s why she has her brother around, to make sure you don’t get anywhere near her.” Tyra then added as Jiyong sighed, hanging his head, annoying his hair stylist. These next two weeks were showing to be more difficult than any of them were expecting.

Hoku waited till Youngbae was away before she opened a new internet page on her browser, typing in G-Dragon News on AllKpop before hesitantly waiting for the results to load. The first thing that popped up shocked her when she read it before looking to the date that came along with it.

G-Dragon Scandal and Drug Abuse Story used as Blackmail by alleged model girlfriend, Arisa. (January 20^th,2013)

Hoku took a deep breath, looking up to the busy people in the room and across the table to her brother who was playing some kind of game on his phone before quickly clicking on the link.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon never ceases to surprise or amaze his fans. Once again news on the popular idol as surface following rumors about his new relationships with Japanese Model, Arisa, just a few days ago. Word has been released that the idol had been blackmailed by the model while he was still in a relationship with his foreign ex-girlfriend Hoku Fernandez, leading him to break up with her and join the model. This is what the idol had to say during a press conference about the incident.

“I had no plans to break up with Hoku now or anytime soon, she really and honestly meant the world to me, and still does. I had to break up with her for I thought that my members and also Hoku would be pulled into the mess I had created. I didn’t want either of them suffering because of me. In turn, I lost someone I cared about along with the trust from my CEO and members. While I was in Jeju for a schedule, my members, namely the maknae took it in his hands to bring justice on the matter. They set up this elaborate plan within YG and with the help of YG, they were able to recorded Arisa admitting that she had blackmailed me.”

The media then asked the idol exactly what had been blackmailed, he truthfully answered the question without any hesitation:

“I was on my way to meet with Hoku for Lunch and I ran into Sean Hyung. We hadn’t seen each other in a while and he had asked me to join him for drinks at the bar directly across the street from us. I knew Hoku was waiting for me, but Sean is someone I have known since the moment I had entered YG, I didn’t want to sound like I was disappointing him. We had a few drinks there and I had surprisingly got drunk off. I didn’t know that Arisa was in the bar the whole time and had drugged my drink with a pill made to knock out it’s victim. Sean Hyung thought Arisa was Hoku and allowed her to take me home. She ually harassed me while another individual took photos of her doing. The next morning I didn’t remember anything, I called a number that was left for me finding out that it belonged to her. She told me that I had 2 choices, either to break up with Hoku then she wouldn’t send out the photos she had copied or stay and suffer. She had also drawn my blood sometime in the night, resulting in my blood coming back positive for Methamphetamine, also an ingredient to the pill she slipped in my drink.”

Japanese Model Arisa was arrested yesterday with charges on drug possession, terrorism, kidnapping and other charges that are still being brought up. A man also mentioned to be part of the blackmail incident, G-Market Photographer Donghae, has yet to be found or arrested. Authorities are speculating that he may have left the country. Fans were devastated finding out the truth behind their favorite couple suddenly calling it quits. Many are now begging for the couple to reunite soon. It is said that Big Bang has arrived in Los Angeles this morning, which can only lead us to wonder, what will happen there?

By the time Hoku was done reading the story, she had a hand over , suppressing the whimpers threatening to fall, thankfully she had her glasses on. She quickly stood up, walking out of the room, ignoring those calling for her, before she ran out the backdoor, shutting it immediately. Hoku took off towards her car, climbing into the front seat before closing and locking the door. The moment she heard the click of the door she let it out, screaming and crying her lungs out. Why was loving someone so impossible?
