Hoku’s POV…

Everything was back to normal, Eden was back and safe. Her relationship with Taeyang had grown immensely since the kidnapping, he never leaves her side. It’s adorable. Big Bang has been non-stop rehearsing for next weekend’s performance at the MAMA Awards, even though we needed to capture a few photos, the guys refused to let us in to the rehearsal rooms, spouting something about it being a surprise even from us. So for the moment, we basically had nothing to do, but lounge around. As for me, I was still trying to get ahold of Selena with no luck, even her house, no one would answer, and it was making me really worried. On top of worrying, I had three important jobs for tomorrow, one, I was doing the instrumental for Jiyong’s ‘That XX’ at M-net Soundplex, it was as easy as cake for me but I couldn’t help but feel as nervous as I would give a graduation speech to a thousand people. Two, while we were on break from following the guys, we were being trained on the equipment we would be using to livestream the awards to the fan club page. It was tiring having to learn everything down to the billions of nobs that littered the high-tech cameras. And three, YG had informed me this morning over the phone that the producers of the show had also set up a special surprise for the guys, personal letters from their mothers, a bit of encouragement through tough times. Anyways, since I was dating Jiyong, they had asked me to also write a letter to him. I couldn’t turn down the offer, but it wasn’t like I wanted to do it, it was going to be too embarrassing in front of everyone there. And this is where it leads me, staring at a blank screen unable to pull anything out and onto the letter. I sighed for the millionth time this afternoon before groaning and slamming my forehead on the table.

“My brain hates me.” I muttered annoyed before I heard my phone vibrating next to me. I sighed pulling my head up hesitant to see who it was before my stress almost about disappeared to happiness. Jiyong calling through facetime, my heart fluttered in excitement. Quickly making sure that my hair was in place, adjusting my reading glasses before I answered seeing his sweaty and exhausted face pop up on the screen along with the guys.

“NOONA!” Seungri shouted as I placed the phone onto the screen of the laptop, to hold it up.

“Hey guys.” I said smiling as they waved.

“We called to check on you baby.” Jiyong mentioned causing me to blush before smiling.

“I’m fine, just working on some stuff for the club.” I partially lied before he nodded looking around the room as the members randomly dispersed.

“Is that really why you called?” I asked narrowing my eyes at him seeing that infamous blush cross his cheeks.

“Hold on.” He whispered as I watched him hold the phone screen to his chest.

“Gross.” I whispered smiling before looking to the blank screen again. Tyra and Eden had went out to do a little grocery shopping for the night, we had all invited the guys over for a home cooked meal along with the 2NE1 girls, we were all equally excited, a bit nervous to see what Tyra would come back with, but then again, I had nothing to hide anymore. The screens then moved showing Jiyong alone in what looked like their recording studio.

“So.” I mentioned as he took a seat, holding his phone out at arm’s length before hanging his head back on the chair.

“Tired?” I asked sarcastically causing him to laugh and look up to me.

“You could say about 3 days of endless rehearsal will pay off in the end.” He said stretching as I smiled, resting my chin on my intertwined hands.

“Jiyongie, everything will work out. You guys will rule the stage nonetheless.” I pointed out before he smiled.

“You’re probably right.” He whispered looking up to the ceiling as I snorted.

“I’m not probably right, I am right.” I said outraged while he looked down to me surprised.

“You’re fans have been working endlessly also, trying to get you guys to win.” I added before he nodded.

“I know. “He added before sighing.

“So we’re having dinner at your place tonight?” He then asked as I smiled and nodded.

“Tyra and Eden went to the grocery story to get some stuff; I hope y’all don’t mind an American dinner.” I asked before he shook his head.

“I get to eat my jagiya’s cooking, I’m excited.” He said overly excited only causing me to roll my eyes amused. I sighed sitting back in my seat my eyes wandering over to the blank screen.

“Baby, what’s wrong?” He asked as I blinked away the stress before smiling.

“Nothing’s wrong.” I said shaking my head as he narrowed his eyes towards me.

“You’re hiding something from me, I can tell.” He pointed out as my heart raced. I needed to come up with a valid lie that he would believe, suddenly an idea popped in my head. Quickly I sighed and hung my head.

“Selena still won’t answer.” I mentioned looking to my lap hoping that I had covered my lie perfectly.

“Baby, it’s alright.” He fell into my trap as I sighed in relief before looking up to him sadly. In all honesty, I was still sad and hurt that she refused to contact me or at least text me. On top of that I had to see Seungri’s hurt face every day which just pissed me off further.

“I know Seungri wants her to go with him to the awards.” I whispered sighing before he sighed along with me.

“We’ll figure out something. You’re a smart girl; you always know what to do.” He reassured while I hung my head back annoyed before my eyes shot open in realization.

“Oh my god!” I shouted surprised sitting up quickly obviously scaring him.

“Baby, are you ok?” He asked frantic as I stood up laughing before jumping up and down.

“Baby! What happened?” He asked confused and concerned before I plopped down on the chair.

“I just had the best Idea ever!” I cheered while he looked at me, obviously waiting for an explanation.

“When are we leaving for Hong Kong?” I asked grabbing my calendar off the counter before running back over.

“We leave on Tuesday night.” He spoke confused as I nodded, adding up everything before kicking my legs up and down.

“I’m going to go and get her for the awards.” I spoke as his eyes shot open.

“You’re going to fly to Ohio and bring her back?” he asked surprised as I nodded.

“Even if I have to drag her back, I’ll get her back.” I mentioned as he looked at me hesitantly.

“You want to come don’t you?” I asked smirking before he blushed and looked away.

“We could stop over in Cali to see my family.” I whispered mumbling to myself as I thought about it.

“Oh but YG wouldn’t even let you go.” I pointed out as his face dropped.

“You have rehearsals and I’m sure you have schedules aside from the mini concert tomorrow.” I added before he sighed, I was smiling, I had a plan.

“Well I need to start cooking so tell everyone we’ll be ready by 6ish.” I quickly said pulling the phone towards me.

“Alright, we’ll be there.” He said sounding depressed now before we hung up. I quickly dialed another number, pulling open the calendar in front of me.

“YG.” He answered as I took a breath of confidence.

“Ah yes sir, it’s me.” I quickly said respectfully.

“Ah Hoku-ah, what can I do for you?” He asked sounding suddenly energetic.

“I have a request to ask of you.” I mentioned nervously.

“Of course, with everything you’ve done to save me and boys, anything.” He added as I nodded, in a deep breath of air.

“I would like to go to the states for the weekend.” I quickly said hoping that he had heard me so I didn’t have to say it again.

“Is there a problem back at home?” He asked concerned.

“No sir, I want to go and bring Selena back to Seungri to the awards.” I gave him my motive causing him to chuckle.

“You are a very determined child.” He praised causing me to blush.

“She left before any of us could explain the truth behind Seungri’s scandal.” I whispered before he chuckled again.

“I knew it, something inside me was telling me about those two.” He pointed out as my eyes shot open in realization that YG had not known about the both of them.

“I’m sorry sir.” I whispered with my head hung low.

“No, no, no, it’s quite alright Hoku-ah. I had a hunch something was going on between the two.” He explained as I blushed.

“I don’t see why I can’t let you go home for the weekend.” He said as I sighed in relief.

“You can stay till Tuesday, and then we’ll fly you straight to Hong Kong from there.” He explained as I nodded before I remembered something.

“I have another request sir.” I said quickly before he could hang up.

“Yes, what is it?” He asked as I looked down to the necklace around my neck.

“Could Jiyong accompany for the weekend?” I asked hesitantly, nervously waiting for his response. There was a long pause on his end of the line that I had to pull back from the phone to make sure that I hadn’t gotten disconnected from him.

“Sir?” I asked to make sure that he was still there.

“Hoku-ah can I ask for a favor before I agree?” He then asked in that serious tone that just sent shivers from head to toe.

“Ah yes sir.” I spoke hesitantly, nervously.

“While you both are there, could you please keep Jiyong out of trouble as much as possible?” He asked as my eyes lit up.

“Yes, of course sir.” I said smiling causing him to laugh.

“I trust you Hoku-ah. I’ll make the arrangements right now.” He spoke as I smiled excitedly.

“She lives in Ohio sir, but I would like to make a stop in Cali to see my family before we return.” I explained.

“Yes, I will get it done and contact you with the info.” He spoke as I sat back in my chair excited.

“Thank you so much sir.” I thanked before quickly hanging up. I was so excited that I just began jumping around the empty dorm like a maniac, not even noticing the stares I was now receiving from a pair of eyes.

“That’s a nice dance you got there.” One spoke causing me to freeze and turn on my heels to see Tyra and Eden looking at me confused.

“Did something good happen?” Eden asked as I helped them put the grocery bags onto the kitchen table.

“Only the fact that YG is letting me and Jiyong go to the states this weekend.” I said in monotone before they froze.

“Wait? What!?” Tyra practically shouted before I nodded eagerly. I wasn’t about to tell them about my plan with Selena, they couldn’t keep a secret to save their lives, best to keep it to myself for now before they blab to everyone in the creation about it and then ruin my ultimate surprise.

Before long we were all quickly cooking for the night. We had a large pot of rice on, Tyra was cooking up her secret vegetable stir-fry mixture in a pan, Eden was baking away in the kitchen, peach cobbler and a blueberry cream cheese tart while I decided to stir up some steak chunks mixed with onions and a special sauce I dipped the meat into.

“Oh my god, it smells so good.” I chirped keeping my head over the steam flowing off of Tyra’s veggies.
“I swear if you sneeze in my food, I’ll push you off the balcony.” She threatened walking back in while I stepped back to my side of the stove.

“What else did you guys buy?” I asked interested seeing the smirk rise on Tyra’s face, I already knew what was up.

“Dear god, did you buy more Soju?” I asked outraged before she snorted.

“Oh like you wouldn’t have.” She pointed out while I shook my head.

“Uh no, we have an important schedule tomorrow.” I added before she rolled her eyes before it grew quiet.

“I can’t believe YG is letting you go home.” Eden then mentioned from behind me as I smiled.

“I know, I’m excited.” I admitted smiling down to my dish frying on the stove.

“Why are you going home anyways?” Tyra then asked over suspiciously before I froze, need a lie, think of a lie.

“Aubrey, my brother’s fiancé asked me to come up for a dress fitting. This was the only time that fit either of our schedules.” I quickly lied before she nodded in understanding. Once dinner was finished, we all separated into our various rooms to freshen up for the night.

Since we weren’t going out for dinner, I dressed comfortable in my favorite pair of pajamas. http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=70677339 I slipped my feet in my house slippers, quickly letting my damp hair lie down my back, slipping my beanie over it before finally emerging from the room.

“Something smells good.” I said smiling Eden’s desserts baking as I walked around the corner.

“Geez, it’s about time. Thought you got lost.” Tyra teased already sipping down on the Soju.

“Please tell me you at least bought something suitable to drink, aside from the toxin?” I whined before Eden nodded.

“I made sure to grab sodas.” She added as I sighed in relief.

“What time is it?” Eden asked from her spot kneeling in front of the now open stove.

“It’s…….” I started before hearing the doorbell.

“It’s them.” I said walking over quickly to answer it to see the 2NE1 girls.

“Oh we did find the right room.” CL pointed out surprised as I smiled, accepting the hugs and the kimchee dish they had brought over.

“Come in, come in.” I urged leading them into the apartment.

“I don’t know if you ever met, but this is Tyra and Eden, they are also on the team.” I introduced pointed to the girls who just shook each other’s hands.

“Oh we know who they are.” Dara pointed out as I looked to the girls confused faces.

“Have you guys met before?” I asked Eden who in turned shook her head.

“Oh we haven’t formally met, but Top oppa and Youngbae oppa talk about them a lot.” Minzy explained causing me to laugh over at my friends flushed faces.

“Unnie, you look so cute by the way.” CL pointed out as I led them into the spacious living room. I just laughed and gestured for the chairs.

“We can so tell that you are with Mr. Fashionista.” Bom teased as I laughed embarrassed. The girls helped me set up the table in the middle of the living room along with the pillows and dishes for each person.

~DING~DONG~

“Oh that must be them.” I mentioned climbing off the ground before walking over to the door. Not even giving me a chance to pull the door all the way open, I was tackled with hugs from Daesung and Seungri.

“Noona!” He cheered causing me to laugh and hug him back.

“You haven’t seen me for a day and already you’re missing me?” I asked amused letting them in before Jiyong looked at me.

“Have a seat in the living room guys.” I called ahead grabbing his hand to stop him.

“I got a surprise for you.” I whispered leaning against the wall in the entry way while he stared at me.

“You do?” He asked confused while I nodded.

“You’re going with me to the states.” I whispered while his eyes shot open.

“But YG’s not going to let me, I’m busy.” He pointed out before I snorted wrapping my arms around his neck before hugging him.

“Aren’t I just the best girlfriend ever to call her boyfriends boss and convince him that I need him at my side in the states.” I spoke sarcastically before he quickly pulled away from me, obviously looking for any clue that I was lying.

“Are you serious?” He asked excitedly while I nodded. He pulled me into a passionate kiss sending my nerves over the edge and my cheeks to flare up.

“I love you.” He whispered keeping his hands on my cheeks to keep me from moving.

“I love you too.” I said smiling at his excited expression.

“Alright, alright! Break it up!” A voice suddenly said as we looked over to see everyone pile up in the hallway smirking at us.

“We know you love each other, now can we eat?” Top oppa whined rubbing his stomach while everyone laughed. I watched as Jiyong walked ahead of me into the living room. I knew exactly what I was going to write for tomorrow, everything I have ever been too afraid to say out loud. All for him and for his fans to understand me.
