Hoku’s POV…

We weren’t scheduled to fly up to Japan till Wednesday afternoon, so for the 3 days we were stuck in Seoul, Big Bang was constantly in the rehearsal room, rehearsing with their dancers and members for their weekend concert. For me, I was excited, I would be able to freely roam in the audience and back stage for the concerts, like any fans dream would be, I was living it. As the doctor instructed, I was keeping the compress on every day, no matter how uncomfortable it was, plus the pain pills also helped me during the day. As for Tuesday, no one aside from YG, Daesung and Selena knew about it, and that’s how I wanted to keep it, at least till Big Bang’s promotions were over.

Getting ready for the day in something comfortable such as sweats, a wide collar long sleeve sweater and colorful high tops, I was ready to go and meet up with everyone else who was already at the company. Suddenly my phone began to ring. I sighed stopping in front of the door, pulling it out to see that it was Jiyong. Smiling at it sheepishly, I slipped my feet into the pair of high tops and answered it.

“Hey.” I answered smiling.

“Where are you?” He asked as I sighed.

“I’m on my way, I accidently slept in.” I explained stepping out and locking the door.

“I see. Well I called to let you know that I’m about to break the news to YG.” He mentioned as I froze in the hallway in shock.

“Wait? Break the news?” I asked confused causing him to laugh.

“Couldn’t wait to tell YG about my secret girlfriend.” He teased causing me to snort.

“Why is it ‘breaking the news’? You sound like your about to go and sell your soul.” I teased back causing him to laugh.

“Seems like it, doesn’t it?” He spoke amused as I rolled my eyes.

“Alright, alright, you win.” I announced causing him to laugh.

“Well I just called to let you know.” He added causing me to sigh as I walked to see Mr. Kim waiting for me with the door already open.

“Alright, I’ll see you in a few.” I added climbing into the back of the van careful of my side.

“Okay, see you.” He said back before I hung up. Sighing in relief while holding my side, I noticed Mr. Kim looking back at me.

“Are you alright this morning Ms. Hoku?” He asked also knowing about my situation thanks to YG. I just smiled and nodded patting my side before wincing.

“Better than usual.” I added causing him to laugh and nod before we pulled away from the curb.

“It’s great that you are doing as the doctor asks, but wouldn’t the Big Bang members be upset that you didn’t tell them?” Mr. Kim asked back causing me to sigh and smile.

“They may, but I don’t want them to worry about me when they have other things to worry about.” I explained as he smiled and nodded.

“That’s an understandable.” He added back causing me nod and look out the window in interest. How long was this going to stay a secret?

Jiyong’s POV…

I was nervous to say the least; my heart was racing faster than it ever had. Never in my singing career had I ever had the chance to tell YG I was dating before he actually found out on his own. So this was for sure the first time for me. Walking towards his office unannounced, I got ready to the knock on the door before I heard him talking loudly to someone.

“What are you talking about?” He about shouted at someone causing me to flinch in the empty hallway.

“I’m sorry sir, I don’t know how they got them.” A familiar voice that sounded like YG’s lawyer retorted.

“Now it’s everywhere in the papers!” He snapped slamming something down.

“I made a promise to keep this a secret from Big Bang, now they are going to see it!” YG shouted as I looked at the door confused.

“How the hell did they get pictures?!” He shouted before I impatiently busted in the door to the two shocked men.

“Jiyong.” YG said looking at me surprised and slightly startled as I looked between him and our official lawyer.

“Sir?” I asked not knowing the situation except that it had something to do with us.

“Is there something I should know about?” I asked unsure walking over to him to see him holding a tabloid magazine against his chest. He sighed slightly before looking to me.

“I was asked to keep this a secret from you as long as I could, but it seems someone got hold of the info and it’s spreading like wild fire.” He explained as I continued to look at the both of them confused.

“What secret sir?” I asked hesitantly causing him to pull the magazine away from his chest before sighing.

“Don’t be upset with her, she was only doing what she thought was good for you guys.” He explained before handing me the magazine confused. I looked down to the cover and immediately my eyes shot open. US Team leader seriously injured from anti-fan attack. 2 cracked ribs announced as the title plus a few photos of a clearly visible compress or wrap sticking out from under her shirts.

“She didn’t want to worry you guys.” YG explained as my heart throbbed, I needed to see that she was ok. I was slightly heartbroken so I my heels and marched over towards the door.

“Jiyong, what did you come here for?” YG asked over as I stop in the doorway, I shook my head before running out. Telling him my secret would have to wait till later, this was more important at the moment.

Hoku’s POV…

I pushed open the door to the rehearsal rooms out of breath to see everyone just sitting around.

“Noona!” Seungri chirped from the ground as I sighed and walked in.

“Sorry, slept in.” I explained walking in the room to a free bench to catch my breath. I sighed leaning my head against the wall before feeling someone sit next to me. I looked over to se Daesung now sitting next to me like he always did since the day he found out.

“You alright?” He asked as always causing me to sigh.

“Oppa, I’ve told you time and time again, I’m fine.” I whined over to him as he sighed before nodding.

“I know, but I just wanna make sure.” He answered causing me to smile before laughing over to him.

“Never would I have thought the ‘almighty smiling angel’ from Big Bang would be so worried about me.” I teased causing him to smile before looking over to me.

“You’re so full of it, you know that?” He asked causing me to laugh before holding onto my side in slight pain.

“Still hurt?” He asked as I sighed massaging it gently before nodding.

“A bit, not much thanks to the drugs.” I said sighing in relief as I shut my eyes.

“Noona, what time is our flight tomorrow night?” Seungri whined as I peeked out my eyes to see him plus the group of dancers sitting around him.

“Um, the same time as I told you last night.” I pointed out causing Taeyang to laugh.

“Maknae, how many times does she have to answer that question before it sinks in?” Top asked over sounding irritated which made me laugh.

“Big Bang bickering, wow, now I must be dreaming.” I mutter before looking over to my friends and Selena who were glued around the rooms computer screen with a few dancers with them.

“What’s going on?” I asked over to Daesung confused as he looked over and shrugged before the group around the computer turned to me in surprise.

“What?” I asked confused before the door to the rehearsal room slammed open against the wall scaring me.

“Ji, what’s with the sudden heart attack this morning?” Taeyang asked also holding his chest before Jiyong’s eyes searched the room eagerly before finally landing on me. I stood up confused as he marched over to me in a fit.

“Are you alright?” I asked confused before he reached down for me shirt, pulling it up a bit causing me to gasp and pull it down.

“So it is true?” He asked looking at me pissed as I bit my lip looking around the room.

“Why didn’t you tell us?” Tyra asked as I sighed looking around the room to the worried and surprise faces before Daesung came to my side.

“Bro, she just didn’t want you to worry about her.” Daesung mentioned as I looked to the ground in shame.

“You knew, and you didn’t tell us?” Jiyong shouted causing me to flinch in reaction.

“Ji, she didn’t want to worry you or us.” Top interfered also taking my side causing me to sigh.

“I’m just going to leave.” I mumbled hurt and embarrassed, grabbing my bag carefully off the ground before walking to the door.

“Don’t do this.” Selena spat as I sighed pulling open the door.

“I don’t want to be a burden to anyone but it seems what I try to protect isn’t right.” I added before walking out alone. I could understand why he was mad, but I hid it for them. What kind of lie did I throw myself into?
