Just a heads up guys, there is alot of Korean speaking in this chapter, and since both characters (Tyra and Eden) do not fully understand Korean yet, when reading just imagine that Hoku is translating everything to them in real time. Author’s POV…

Finally it was time for the show to start. The American team was still in their seats, fans around them had quieted down considerably while the two hosts Chung Won-young and Park Gyeong lim walked out to the middle of the stage.

“Welcome to M-net Soundplex. We are all equally excited for the show we have planned for you.” Won Young announced causing the crowds to scream and pull out their fan made signs of Big Bang.

“I’m sure you’ve all been waiting a considerable amount of time for these guys, so without further ado, Big Bang!” Gyeong lim cheered as they walked off the stage to allow space to Big Bang. Big Bang’s Tonight began playing as the crowd screamed. Hoku smirked when she saw Jiyong run out onto the stage full of charisma. Everyone in the room stood up to dance as the guys jumped onto stage with so much energy. The American Team in turn stood with the crowd, clapping their hands to the beat as Big Bang sang.

Hoku’s POV…

I would probably never get over the feeling I would always get watching Big Bang change from the jokers they were backstage to the serious and energy bringing stars they were on stage. I smiled once Jiyong looked my way during the chorus, throwing us his signature smile causing the girls around me to scream.

“Big Bang!” The hosts both said again gesturing to them once they had finished their song. The crowd along with us all took our seats back as the hosts clapped along with us.

“We are Big Bang!” the guys announced together before bowing as the girls around cooed at their handsome expressions.

“Can we have you each introduce yourselves?” Gyeong lim asked as the guys nodded.

“I’m T.O.P. It’s nice to meet you.” TOP introduced as I nudged Tyra teasingly.

“I’m Taeyang, what’s up?!” Taeyang said with his usual hyped expression causing us to giggle Eden’s way.

“I’m G-Dragon. Nice to see you.” He said as I smiled inwardly watching how his fans reacted to him just saying hi.

“I’m Daesung, nice to finally be here.” Daesung said as we cheered from the stands, over exaggeratedly.

“I’m Seungri, how you doin?” Seungri mentioned with this charm causing me to snort quietly.

“Big Bang has a whole special concert planned out for everyone, so let’s let them continue.” Won Young added as they stepped off stage to let the guys continued. Big Bang continued on with Fantastic Baby, Café and Bad Boy before finally the chairs were brought out for them.

“It took some type to get you guys on our show, but finally you were able to come.” Gyeong lim joked as the guys laughed and nodded.

“First off, Big Bang doesn’t know this but we collected questions from fans that were left on our homepage, so I’ll pass this out.” Won Young mentioned almost feeling my heart drop into my stomach thinking it was the letters. They passed out individual envelopes with the guys names on them before starting off with TOP.

“Top-ssi.” Gyeong lim urged as he smiled and nodded, pulling out his question from the envelope. He chuckled a bit, feeling Tyra’s nervousness shoot through the roof from next to me.

“What is ‘exposure’?” He spoke as I laughed, side eying Tyra’s hesitant face. The guys just laughed in reaction to his question.

“Even as I see you now, I don’t think anyone’s ever seen you wear shorts before.” Won Young admitted causing Top to laugh.

“Are you uncomfortable showing your body?” Gyeong lim asked as Top pulled the mic to his lips, shaking his head.

“No, no, no, I just rather be fully prepared, fully prepare my body before it is shown. I’m more comfortable this way.” He explained gesturing to himself as he spoke. The hosts all nodded in understanding along with the crowd.

“You lucky bastard.” I whispered teasingly over to Tyra who smirked proudly.

“Taeyang-ssi.” The hosts spoke as he pulled out his question from the envelope; we all noticed the blush immediately. TOP leant over to see what the fuss was about before chuckling.

“What does it say hyung?” Seungri asked over as Taeyang put the mic to his lips.

“What is ‘woman’?” He spoke as we chuckled inwardly seeing the same blush cross Eden’s face.

“Have you dated before?” Won Young asked as Taeyang laughed nervously before shaking his head.

“Never?” Gyeong lim asked as he nodded chuckling.

“What type of woman are you looking for?” Won Young asked as Taeyang’s slowly drifted around the room before stopping on us.

“I like a fun, outgoing type of girl, beautiful, funny, and understanding of my love for music.” He explained causing us to all smile over to Eden.

“I think he’s talking about you.” I whispered teasingly to receive an elbow to the ribs. I laughed, turning my attention back to the show, this kind of segment I really liked.

“G-Dragon.” They added as he sighed pulling out the question before his eyes shot open. Daesung and Taeyang leaned over before breaking out laughing into their mics.

“What does it say?” Top asked as Jiyong sighed causing me to blush in worry.

“What is ‘love’?” He spoke as my blush grew twice as intense with the squeals around me, this time both Tyra and Eden nudged me teasingly.

“We’ve all heard about G-Dragon’s love interest, right?” Gyeong lim asked the crowd who in turned screamed, the ones around me screaming louder. Jiyong hung his head embarrassed still seeing that adorable smile.

“How is it going with her Jiyong-ssi?” Won Young asked as Jiyong looked up smiling, never meeting my eyes.

“We’re doing fine. She’s fine.” He worded at the hosts nodded.

“From the pictures we’ve seen, she’s incredibly beautiful.” Gyeong lim added as the guys all nodded.

“How long have you been dating?” Won Young asked as Jiyong looked up in wonder, typical guy to not keep track of time.

“Um.” He whispered smiling sheepishly as the guys all laughed at him.

“Did you seriously forget?” Taeyang asked over amused while Jiyong held his head in his hands while Daesung laughed and patted his back.

“About a month, right noona?” Seungri then asked turning his attention to me as I blushed now in the spotlight.

“Omo, is she out here?” Gyeong lim asked surprised as the guys nodded gesturing over to where we were sitting, gaining everyone’s attention. Seungri stood up and walked over to me as I covered my face embarrassed by the loud squeals. Tyra and Eden didn’t help, instead they pushed me out of my seat when Seungri offered me his hand. I groaned, hissing back at them before putting my hand in his to walk over towards the stage area. The hosts both stood up as I made it to the stage before bowing.

“Omo, Hoku-ssi, you are beautiful.” Won Young admired causing me to blush and smile over to Jiyong who was now standing next to me.

“I’m Hoku, it’s nice to meet you both.” I introduced holding my hand out as they shook it surprised before Jiyong leaned in towards my ear.

“You can go sit back down.” He whispered as I smiled and nodded, walking away from them to my seat.

“Omo, she’s beautiful, just like you Jiyong-ssi.” Gyeong lim admitted causing me to laugh from my seat.

“Don’t you think if they had kids, they would be incredibly endowed?” Daesung teased causing me to hide my face into Tyra’s shirt. The subject on us past as Daesung pulled his question out, asking him about his work in ‘Cats’, then Seungri was next with his question on ‘hosting a variety show’. I’ve never laughed so hard in my life to be honest. Before long it was time for the guys to perform a few songs again, Blue, Love Song and Number 1 were performed before one of the stage employees came out to let us know it was almost time. We nodded and followed them out quietly to the backstage area. After this segment of songs, the guys were going to move onto their solo songs, along with our interview with them. Once again, the same man hooked my ears up with sound pieces, ones that I could hear the guys singing through clearly.

“Wow that sounds awesome.” I said in realization causing him to laugh as he adjusted my sound box now hooked up to the back of my pants. The guys finished and ran backstage while the hosts entertained the audience out front.

“You ready?” Jiyong asked running over to me out of breath before I sighed trying to calm my nerves.

“When are we going on?” I asked as he looked to the guys then to me.

“It’s going to be Daesung, Seungri then us.” He explained as I nodded.

“Then we’ll do your interview segment, and then it’ll be Bae and GD&TOP.” He explained as I nodded. I was nervous but excited for my first performance alongside Jiyong.

I stood near the entrance of the stage area where the guys were entering from, Daesung was currently getting set up on stage as Seungri was getting set up backstage.

“What song are you doing?” I asked when Seungri made it to my side.

“What can I do?” He mentioned while I nodded.

“Oh, I like that song.” I cheered causing him to smile.

“Thanks noona.” He thanked for the confidence I had just sent him while we watched Daesung sing ‘Wings’.

“This song is so beautiful.” I whispered watching Daesung in amazement before I felt an arm on my hip.

“Are you going to be ok?” Jiyong whispered as I sighed, pulling one of my ear pieces out before nodding.

“As ok as I’ll ever be.” I spoke back while he smiled, leaning in and kissing my cheek.

“You’ll do fine.” He whispered causing me to smile and nod. Daesung bowed and walked off the stage towards us, where I met him with a hug.

“That was beautiful Dae.” I praised in his hug causing him to laugh.

“Thank you Hoku-ah, but I’m sure your instrumental will be even more beautiful.” He retorted causing me to blush and laugh at him.

“You couldn’t just take my compliment and walk away?” I asked teasingly causing him to laugh and walk away.

“If I didn’t already know, you and Dae could pass as a happy couple.” A voice spoke as I turned to see TOP oppa now standing next to me. I just snorted and rolled my eyes at his comment.

“Stop spouting nonsense oppa.” I whined turning back to the stage where Seungri was now getting set up.

“What? I was just pointing the obvious.” He mentioned back causing me to roll my eyes.

“Oh stop, I don’t look at anyone else like that, except for Jiyong.” I groaned annoyed back before he smiled and nodded.

“I know.” He spoke causing me to snort before noticing his new attire.

“A green suit?” I asked amused fully turning to him as he adjusted the fur cover on his shoulder.

“GD&TOP.” He explained before I nodded in understanding. Seungri finished and it was our turn, Jiyong planned to do Crayon first, then That XX.

“You’ll do fine, alright?” Jiyong pointed out standing next to me in the entryway while I sighed.

“Are you sure? I mean, I don’t wanna mess you up or anything.” I whined over to him causing him to smile.

“Baby, please, you’ll be fine.” He reassured grabbing onto my shoulders so that I would face him.

“Now how about you give this boy a kiss good luck?” He asked amused causing me to snort before I leaned forward, kissing his lips gently before pulling away.

“Go get um.” I mentioned causing him to laugh before he pulled his sunglasses done, nodding for the music before he ran out to the screaming crowd.

“You and Ji are the most adorable couple I have ever seen.” Taeyang mentioned from next to me causing me to laugh.

“I could say the same about ‘the blushing couple’.’ I teased before he turned to me confused.

“Who?” he asked as I smiled amused putting a hand on his shoulder.

“I’m talking about you and Eden, genius.” I whispered jokingly while he blushed embarrassed.

“Hoku-ssi, you’re up.” A voice called as I looked over to see a woman motioning for me to go to the stage.

“I have a special guest as my pianist for the next song, I hope you all welcome her as warmly as me.” Jiyong announced to the fans as I walked down the short stairs than to the ramp towards the stage. Coming into view, putting my earpieces back in my ear the crowd screamed as I smiled, waving before I bowed to both sides. Jiyong smiled at me before gesturing for the piano. I took a seat behind it, carefully taking off my heels before I crackled my knuckles.

“One, two, three.” Jiyong counted as the guitarist played before I gently entered with the piano. The song went on without a hitch, I stood from the piano when we were finished and bowed, leaving alongside Jiyong.

“That was perfect.” Jiyong said reaching over and holding my hand causing me to giggle. We waited patiently as the staff set up the chairs again, extra ones for us.

“This time let’s welcome both Big Bang and the US VIP Team.” Gyeong lim announced as we all walked on bowing to the fans before taking a seat. Since the girls were not fully understandable with Korean, I took a seat between them with only one mic while the guys sat on both sides of us.

“Welcome.” Won Young added before I smiled and nodded translating it. (Author Note: I’m not planning on doing two lines of each, so when they ask in Korean, just imagine that Hoku is translating at the same time. It’ll save me time also.)

The three of us bowed our heads while the crowd clapped.

“Can we ask you to introduce yourselves?” Gyeong lim asked before we nodded.

“I’m Hoku Fernandez, the clubs head coordinator.” I introduced before holding the mic to the other girls.

“I’m Tyra Salsbury, Co-admin.” Tyra said

“I’m Eden Ortiz, also Co-Admin.” Eden added before I nodded.

“You girls are all beautiful.” Won Young admitted causing the 3 of us to laugh in reaction before bowing our thanks.

“First I would like to ask Hoku-ssi a question if it’s alright.” Gyeong lim mentioned as I shook my head, urging her to ask freely.

“You are from the states yes?” She asked as I nodded.

“Then how is it that you speak such fluent Korean and on top of that Japanese.” She asked as I smiled putting the mic up to my lips.

“I’ve been studying both Korean and Japanese language.” I explained.

“Do they not understand us?”  Won Young asked gesturing to the girls right after I translated to them.

“They are still learning.” I admitted before they nodded.

“Well I’m sure every fan here is wondering, how is it to be able to work along Big Bang for the last 3 months?” Gyeong asked as I laughed sheepishly.

“It’s amazing. Beyond anything we had hoped to accomplish with our team. They are as they show on those YouTube videos, funny, outgoing and then when work is involved they turn into those serious hardworking idols. We’re so grateful we were given the chance to experience this.” I admitted causing the room to chuckle.

“Tyra, said she had never dreamed that she would be able to work alongside a group she only ever saw on YouTube.” I added while they laughed.

“How long have you all been a fan?” Won Young asked as I looked up in wonder.

“A little over a year, maybe a bit more.” I admitted while they gasped.

“I introduced the girls to it after I started listening to it.” I added while they nodded. They asked us a few more questions about the fan club and our interaction with Big Bang and YG, our thoughts on their accomplishments, projects, activities, and the previous concert.

“Hoku-ssi, how is it dating one of the most famous idols in the country?” Gyeong lim asked now gesturing to me as I blushed smiling.

“It’s a strange feeling.” I answered looking over to Jiyong’s smiling face.

“Strange, meaning?” Won Young asked as I chuckled a bit.

“Being a fan of his for so long, suddenly becoming his girlfriend is a story out of a dream. Something you never thought real. I’ve dated before, but never in my life have I met someone who can make me blush as much as he does.” I explained bushing while they laughed and nodded.

“Jiyong-ssi, what about Hoku-ssi attracted you to her?” Gyeong lim asked as Jiyong laughed with the guys before he put the mic to his lips.

“On one of the first nights they were here, I did something to upset her a bit, she was the first woman aside from the ones I work with or are related to that actually yelled at me like a normal human being.” He admitted causing me to throw my head back laughing at the memories.

“After that night, I had a hard time forgetting about her. I was able to see her determination to her work, she reminded me so much of myself.” Jiyong offered causing me to laugh.

“In the time we’ve spent with the noonas, Hoku-ah is like Hyung’s twin in everything. They think so much alike and are so much alike when it comes to work.” Seungri added causing me to smile over to the hosts.

Finally it was the part of the show I was dreading, since I was the only one that basically knew that it was going to happen. Seeing that they were now taking out folded pieces of paper from behind them, I sighed looking down to my lap.

“We have a surprise segment for the Big Bang members.” Gyeong lim explained as the guys looked up excited and surprised.

“We have personalized letters here from each of your mothers that we would like to read.” Wong Young added as the guys gasped in surprise. One by one, they read each members one, and one by one, the members broke out in tears following the letters.

“Now Jiyong-ssi.” The host announced as I passed out tissues to the other members for their surprising tears.

I watched in interest as they read what Umma Kwon had wrote to Jiyongie. It was adorable to hear all the various things she was worried about with him, concerning him eating more and resting like he should.

“Jiyongie, the family would like to meet this beautiful woman you have been dating. Bring her by to meet the family soon, alright?” The host read as my eyes shot open to her before blushing in embarrassment. She finished the letter and we all clapped aside from me, I saw that extra note sitting in her lap.

“We have one last surprise but it is directed towards Jiyong-ssi.” Won Young announced as the crowd quieted down as Jiyong looked up through his tearful eyes, causing me to smile.

“We have one more letter here addressed to you.” Gyeong lim explained as Jiyong looked to them confused before nodding.

“We asked this person to personally write this for you, and for your fans to here.” Won Young added as I sheepishly smiled down to my lap where I was holding the mic. I watched in interest as the guys watched expectantly.

Jiyongie,

This may come across as surprising but they had asked me to write you a letter, so I wanna use this time I was given to express everything to you and the guys that I couldn’t before.

Firstly I want to start with the Maknae of the group. I won’t be here forever to keep you out of trouble so for my sake and the sake of your hyungs, behave from now on. I understand the need to want to explore and take on new projects, but everything comes with a consequence, and if you are doubtful about it, then it may be in your best interest to look more into it before you do something hasty. I look at you as a younger brother, and would do anything to make sure your safe, so please take care of yourself.

Daesung, you are an amazing person, genuine, sweet and one of the most caring people I know. Being with you for the last few months, I was able to find out the reason behind your nickname ‘the smiling angel’. Never let anyone tell you otherwise, no matter what life may throw at you, no matter how hard it may get, keep your chin up and keep fighting. You’re hyung’s and I will always be there to catch you when you fall, remember that.

Taeyang Oppa, from my perspective you are the mother figure of the group, and that’s how it should. Take care of the others when I can’t be around, make sure to keep them out of trouble and out of harm’s way. But most importantly, never let them turn on each other. I know that your mom had never accepted your career from the start, but if I was her, I would be proud to call someone like you my son. Such a hard worker and devoted to what you love, that’s all that matters.

TOP Oppa, I finally understood all the meanings behind ‘Bingu’. Never in my life have I ever laughed so hard than the times I have spent with you and the others. Even when life is getting you down, and it may seem like there is no way out, be sure to always look out for yourself and the others. Oppa, you make me worry sometimes when I see you, I can’t help but feel my heart break when I see how exhausted you are to the point that you look like Seungri in the making. Keep up with your health, that’s all that really matters in life. No matter the money, fame, music or movies, without your health all those are pointless in the end.

Now on to my Jiyongie, it took me a while to begin your portion of the letter aside from the fact that I was too embarrassed to start this whole thing in the first place. But in the end, anything to do with you, I am willing to offer my help and attention towards. Jiyongie, I know as a fan, you’ve had a rough life from the start, none of us are given our dream so easily, something we have to work hard towards, no matter what it may be. Never in my life, I had I ever thought I would be where I am now, surrounded by those I had admired for so long, a far. But look where I am, dating one of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life, and no regret in sight. It’s an amazing feeling to be able to see you grow in popularity in front of me, to be able to witness your fans reactions to you all first hand. I wouldn’t change everything that has happened to me since being here. Fainting, cracked ribs, and a laceration to my head, none of that mattered to me, all that matter was the safety of you and the members. I know it may not be easy for me from here on, but as long as I am by your side, I don’t care what happens to me, as long as you are happy doing what makes you happy, I’m fine with that. Thank you for giving me a chance. Even though we just started dating, I won’t leave your side, I’ll stay by your side till you no longer want me there. I’ll be your lighthouse, someone you can count on, I’ll catch you when you fall, I’ll help you up when the media pushes you down, I’ll do everything in my power to make sure you are still my happy and safe Jiyongie. No matter what you may hear about me in the future, all I want is to be with you and for you to be happy. I am so proud of your many accomplishments, your music, your hard work, you’re everything. In front of the world, in front of your fans, in front of those watching, I want to express how much you mean to me, no pair of words can express how grateful and how much of an impact you have had on my life.
