“Mark.”

Mark bobbed his head to the rhythm of his Hip Hop music while tapping his feet on the floor, following the beat with a confident smile. It seems like he didn’t hear the voice that was calling for him just now.

“Mark Tuan.”

Still, Mark is inside his own small world without a care making the guy irritated by his friend’s obliviousness. Tugging away the right earphone from blocking Mark’s ear, a shriek boomed over his eardrum making the latter almost fall from the bench because of surprise.

“TUAN YI-EN!!!”

“Holy mother frigging !!! What the hell???” Mark held onto the wooden bench for his dear life before he could fall on the floor and he turned to face a frowning JB. “What the actual damn do you want, Im Jaebum?! You startled me!”

JB showed him his other earphone with a raised brow. “You shocked me with how you could truly hear music with this extreme volume. Anyway, I wasn’t going to talk about that. It’s about Eunae.”

Upon hearing that one special name, Mark had his back straighten up as he pulled his left earphone from covering his left ear. “What’s about Eunae?”

“You should confess to her.” JB whispered out lowly after looking around meanwhile Mark was freaking out at the other side. “What?! Why should I?!”

“She’s going abroad after graduation.”

Silence…

“You’re kidding…”

“I’m not joking, man!” JB had his arms up in the air as if he’s surrendering.

“You’re serious?” Mark finally had his eyes widened and JB nodded fervently as a response. “Yeah! Her parents talked about it last night and since I’m her close cousin, she told me about it!”

“No… It can’t be…”

“That’s why you need to tell your feelings to her before it’s too late!” JB patted his shoulders, encouraging him to do the impossible.

Mark had a fire of determination in his eyes while standing up with a balled fist. “That’s right. I need to do this. Like a man!”

JB followed after him and he pumped his fist, giving his friend some spirit. “Yeah! Like a man!”

Mark pulled Jackson’s ear hard and the guy growled at the pain that he was currently feeling. Jackson began to groan when his blanket was tugged away and he sat up abruptly with closed eyes.

“What do you want Mark?! Princess Jackson is trying to have his beauty sleep here!”

“I’ll just ignore the fact that you know it was me who wake you. I need you. Come on, pal. Get up now before I burn your manga.” Mark dragged Jackson away from his bed at once.

“Now, rise and shine our kids!” Mark clapped his hands to wake his friends up who were dozing off while standing on their feet.

Bambam and Yugyeom leaned over each other with droopy eyes while Youngjae was snoring with his head down. Jackson… He’s already in his own Princess world on the gym floor meanwhile JB and Junior were yawning out of sleepiness. The only sane one was actually Mark.

“Why are we… *yawn* here again…?” Junior asked with his eyes closed, trying to adjust to the light but failed.

“Help me decorate this place.” Mark pointed out as the guys JB and Junior were making disapproved sounds since the other 4 were already dead to the world.

“Seriously? It’s 2 freaking a.m. and--”

“I give you guys 4 hours of sleep.”

“But we need more--”

“JB, I’ll buy you another iPod since yours were broken last week. Junior, I’ll give you Heeyoung’s number since you were too scared to ask her. Yugyeom, Bambam, I’ll buy you two PS4 each complete set with 10 war games. Youngjae, I’ll give you 50 food coupons for my sister’s restaurant. Jackson, I will buy you 30 manga for free.”

As if Mark’s words were their energizer, his 6 friends had their eyes wide and they were saluting to him with straighten back. “Sir, yes sir! Your command!”

“I know you guys love me. Thanks for agreeing after I offered something.” Of course Mark responded to that with a hint of sarcasm and his friends just beamed, unaffected by his sarcastic reply.
