Mingyu looked over his phone when it started buzzing again for who-know-how-many-damn-times now. A vein clearly popped out of his forehead when he saw another unknown number, which means it’s neither his family nor his friends. The probability of it being one of his admirers makes more sense.

“Do I have to change my number again? It’s already the 3rd time this month,” he grumbled before shoving back his phone inside his pocket. “Did someone sell my number or something? Cause it must be pricey, considering I never gave one to people other than my important ones.”

He strode over to his locker before opening it rather harshly making his friend to frown.

“What’s wrong?” Wonwoo asked as he chucked his books that he was going to use today inside his bag.

“I’m beginning to hate numbers again, though it seems impossible since I love Math,” the taller guy muttered, picking up his books and as usual, ignoring the endless amount of letters that were surfing out of his locker.

Wonwoo eyed the love letters that were streaming out like waterfall as Mingyu shoved the leftovers out of his small space for books. He has seen this scene many, many times but it still looks amusing every single time it happens. Mingyu banged his locker shut after he’s done, apparently fuming at the non-ending popularity.

“Can we change phone numbers?” Mingyu turned to Wonwoo with a blank look making the latter to snort. “Of course not, dude. I know that you mean literally but I rather not. Don’t want the popularity to be smudge over me, right?”

Wonwoo said that in a sarcastic manner and if he’s not older than Mingyu, the guy would already knock him over the ground.

Recess came for Pledis High and Mingyu was busy munching over his fried rice until his eyes spotted someone he never saw or maybe bother to acknowledge. He locked his gaze on her, his target, pretty much like a stalker and he almost chocked over his milk when he saw the girl’s freaking smile. He has seen endless girl’s smiles (for the reason of flirting with him) but he never felt like, what, shocked, just over a smile.

“Holy ,” Mingyu cursed when he felt his heart beats in a rapid pace.

“Why? Your fan girls called again?” Wonwoo hummed while slurping down his noodles happily. Apparently he didn’t notice his buddy’s eyes that were on a girl.

“Who’s that angel?” Mingyu turned to ask Wonwoo.

“You can see magical creatures now? That’s amazing,” Wonwoo guffawed and he was pulled by the neck by Mingyu the next second, making him almost chock over his meal. “No dammit. I mean that beauty.”

Wonwoo was having a hard time to spot the girl Mingyu was talking about with the latter’s arm around his neck but he managed to find her. “Oh. Sunhwa?”

“Sunhwa?” Mingyu asked back.

“Yeah. She’s a first year student. She just enrolled here,” Wonwoo let out a relief sigh when Mingyu released him and muttered with a shrug.

“She’s younger huh…” Mingyu trailed, his eyes were glued on the specific girl.

Vernon who was just beside the megaphone felt his eyebrow twitch in annoyance and he kicked the latter away from him, “Ugh. So ing loud.”

“Beautiful sea. Time to surf,” Hoshi said with a smirk as he strode towards the Surfboard renting place with an overly hyperactive Dino, “Surf! Surf!! SURFFFFF!!!”

“I want to play beach ball,” Jeonghan muttered and S.Coups agreed, “Count me in.”

“I want to play too!” Dokyeom raised his hand along with Joshua, “Me three.”

The 7 of them went away to play the game, leaving only Wonwoo and Mingyu behind since Seungkwan and Vernon went away to swim.
