“What class do we have after this?” Dokyeom rummaged through his drawer desk for snacks but all he could find were the wrappers only.

“P.E. Hurry up and let’s change or we’ll be nagged by Teacher Park. I heard that we’re playing dodge ball today.” Mingyu stood up from his seat while Dokyeom followed after him suit.

After they have changed to their sport’s uniform, Dokyeom looked around the gym, searching for a particular someone and he saw her. Her long shiny black hair was tied up to a pony-tail and she just stayed silent unlike typical school girls who would gossip when they got the chance. Her friend pulled the hem of her shirt and pointed at something that made her to giggle.

“Class! All eyes on me!”

Half-heartedly, Dokyeom diverted his gaze away from the girl towards the teacher in front. “Today, we will play the game, dodge ball. I will pick the members of the team and no objections are needed. A to the right and B to the left.”

“You, A. A, B, B, A. B, A, B, B, A…” And it continues until they were separated evenly.

Dokyeom searched for any of his friends but he frowned unsatisfied when all of them were at team B. Woozi and The8 waved at him happily, while Wonwoo and Mingyu were talking with each other as their eyes were focused on Dokyeom too. (I put the 96 and 97 liners in one grade.)

Mingyu showed a thumb up to Wonwoo and he went over to talk with The8 and Woozi. Dokyeom wondered with a question mark popped on his head when he saw his best friends were chatting and then they gave him their wide suspicious grin.

“Why do I felt that a shiver just ran up my spine just now?” He rubbed his arms as if a pile of snow was thrown over him all of a sudden. “I don’t feel good about this. I never felt good when they gave me their evil smile.”

Teacher Park stood at the center of the teams and threw the ball upwards before blowing her whistle. Dokyeom and Mingyu ran forward at the same time to catch the ball but unfortunately, Dokyeom lost since he’s shorter a few cm than Mingyu.

Mingyu smirked when he saw an opportunity to outs 5 people from the opposite team so he threw the ball towards the right side of the court. His throw made the ball bounced from one student to another and thus team B was in lead by 5 points.

Dokyeom shot Mingyu a glare while the latter stuck his tongue out, attempting to splash a bucket of oil in his friend’s burning fire. “Oh. You’re going down.”
