“See you tomorrow, Anna!” Youngmi waved slightly and Anna waved back before taking her right.

School just ended for her and she was now on her way to her house that was located a few blocks away. Her eyes shined upon seeing the black haired male that just went out of the gate from her house. He was chatting with his friends about random things when his eyes landed on hers.

“Anna. Just came back from school?” Wonho asked with a smile and she answered with a nod, preventing herself from blushing hard.

“Hey there, kiddo.” Minhyuk, one of Wonho’s friends, ruffled her light brown wavy hair teasingly.

Anna frowned at his teasing smirk before fixing her hair back. “I’m not a kid.”

“Oh yes. Yes, you are.” Kihyun, another one of his friend, grinned as a chuckle escaped his lips, having fun making her to scowl in misery.

“That’s enough guys. If only you were not my friend…” Wonho came to her rescue and he stood in front of Anna, so his friends would stop bothering her.

“Ohh… Wonho… Are you her knight in shining armor?” Minhyuk teased making Anna to fluster behind Wonho but he didn’t seem amused by that.

“Hold up, guys. We’re going to be late to the blind date.” Kihyun intervened at once when he looked at his watch to see the time.

Blind… date…? Anna thought curiously.

“Right! Guess what, Hoseok-shii? Your crush is going to be there too.” Minhyuk snickered when a slight blush appeared on Wonho’s cheeks. “Are you embarrassed? Look at his face. It’s so funny.”

“Shut up.” Wonho grumbled and he turned to look at Anna. “I won’t be home until later so eat dinner without me, okay?”

Pushing the weird feeling away from her heart, Anna let out a nod and Wonho left with his friends.

Tossing and turning around didn’t do her any good so she decided to get out of bed and went to down some water inside her. Anna made her way to the kitchen but before that, she glued her back to the wall, picking up a ruler and placed the stick on her head.

Moving away from the wall with her hand static, she read over her height and groaned when she didn’t really grow much. Last year it was 144 cm. This year it’s 146 cm. And then next year what, 148? I’m already 17 for nature’s sake…

She stomped her way to the fridge and pulled out a jug of cold water, along with her mug. She jumped onto the kitchen island before facing the window in front of the sink. Staring at the moon, she grew a little worried when Wonho haven’t come home yet.

She recalled back the first time she met him as a normal first year college student and he was her father’s friend son. His father doesn’t want him to waste money on renting a house so he forced his son to live with the Park’s family.

He doesn’t mind since it’s kind of better more for him. He said that he won’t miss his family that often since Anna’s parents reminded him of his parents. The gap between them was four years and by the way his friends treated her, she’s positive he viewed her as a kid too.

“My physical appearance betrayed me too…” Anna muttered sulkily because she has a baby-faced, she’s smaller than her classmates and she looks like a middle-school student rather than a high school one.

“I don’t think I have the chance…” She heaved out a long sigh.

Wonho yawned sleepily as he strolled his way to the kitchen, rubbing his eyes to stay awake. “Good morning, auntie.”

“Good morning, Hoseok.” Mrs. Park smiled as she poured a cup of coffee for him.

Wonho noticed the seat beside him was unoccupied when he was about to chomp down a toast. “Where’s Anna? Doesn’t she have school today?”

“Anna left first. She said that she had class duty today.” She replied while washing the dishes.

Wonho bit on to the bread with his eyes stuck on the seat beside his. He went back to concentrate on his breakfast before washing up since he also has class today
