“Laura.” Jin spoke up and Laura hummed as her hand was flipping over a page of a comic. “Hello Jin oppa. Why the sudden call?”

She heard a silent respond at the other line and she can’t help but to think that Jin had passed out by spotting a cockroach right beside his hand. “Oppa? Seokjin oppa? Hallu?”

“Ah yeah… Uhh… I was just thinking…” He started and she put away the comic from her hand to hear what he has to say. “Maybe… Um… we can go hang out together?”

“With your Bangtan friends?” She anticipated silently and she prayed so hard that they’ll hang out with s since her crush is one of his friends.

“Umm… No. It’s just you and I. I hope you don’t mind.”

“Oh. Sure. When do you want to meet up and where?” She forced her shoulders to not slump down at his reply as she stood up from her bed.

“I’ll pick you up at your house in 30 minutes.” Laura felt that Jin’s voice was increasing an octave but she decided to wave the thought away. “Alright. Then, I’ll see you later.”

To be frankly honest, Laura had fun walking around with Jin together although she sometimes felt uncomfortable since it looks like a date. She never saw Jin in a romantic way with her so it was an understatement if she felt it like that.

Looking around the park in boredom, she spotted an ice-cream truck before blinking his eyes with a grin. “Oppa~ I want ice-cream…”

Jin almost melted into puddle by the way she made aegyo to him and he smiled automatically. “Of course. I’ll be back so wait here.”

As they were sauntering along the street with ice-cream in their hands, Jin felt his ringtone came to life so he answered the call swiftly. “Yes?”

“What? B-But… Fine.” He hung up and Laura looked at him with an eyebrow raised. “What’s wrong?”

“I’m so sorry Laura but I had to go home now. Are you okay with walking home alone?” Jin apologized and she nodded once. “Of course. I’m a big girl now.”

“I’ll see you tomorrow at school.” Jin waved before leaving her behind hurriedly.

Laura onto her ice-cream slowly while sauntering along the street. She felt a little lonely after Jin left so she looked around in boredom. She spotted a figure that she knew at her corner eyes and brightened upon seeing him.
