Joshua heaved out a tired sigh after interviewing idols and actors everywhere as he lazily punched in his password house. Being a reporter is really tiring since it requires him to move his limbs in every place he could find to ask questions about the entertainers current’s stories.

Pushing the door open, he could just pass out on the couch without bathing or changing but his fantasy was blocked when he saw his wife dozing off in front of the television.

“Serin?”

Serin woke up with a startle and she whipped her head over her shoulder. “Oppa…”

“What are you doing sleeping here? You’ll catch a cold.” He muttered worriedly and turned off the flat-screen tv.

Serin stood up and they went to their room together. “Do you want something to eat?”

“No thanks. I’m not hungry.”

“Ah. I forgot to say goodnight to Sesoo and Jirin… I think they’re not asleep yet…” She frowned when she was already lying down on the bed.

“It’s fine. You look exhausted so just go to sleep. I’ll entertain them until they’re asleep.” He ruffled his wife’s hair and went towards their twin’s room beside theirs.

“Kakkung~” Joshua poked his head inside his twin’s room and they giggled when they saw him.

“Appa.”  Both Sesoo and Jirin ran to him and he lifted them in his arms happily. “Where’s omma?”

“Omma’s sleeping. Omma’s tired so let appa read your story book for today, okay?” They nodded their heads and he lied them down on their bed.

Joshua knew deep down he was so tired that he could faint on the spot but when he realized how tired it must be for his wife to wait for him every night, he felt that he could do this for once. His kids are not that close with him too because he’s busy searching money for them.

He reached out one of their books and was about to read it when Jirin pushed a calendar to him. “Appa. Tomorrow is Mother’s Day.”

“Oh really?”

The book was pushed to the side and they discussed about what to give Serin as a present.

“How about appa makes breakfast for omma?” Sesoo break the silence and Joshua snapped his fingers. “That’s it. Sesoo is quick. Good job.”

“So, what kind?” The father asked and Jirin raised her hand upwards. “Oh oh! How about waffles or pancakes?”

“That’s great. Jirin is getting smarter too. Appa will do it tomorrow morning and you two will be my assistant chef.”
