Yeonhee’s tip of fingers grazed over the leaf of the dying flower as its color slowly turned back to its original state. A smile crawled its way to her lips when she saw how the green rose bloomed right in front of her eyes.

A shadow fell over the flower, making her to frown since the plant can’t get its sunlight. Lifting her head up, her eyes slightly widened upon seeing a male outside her window. She was not surprised by the fact that the guy was floating on air but it was because the guy was exposed to the blazing sun.

“Why?” She spoke softly and he already knew what she meant by that.

“I’m bored.” Wonho replied with a shrug before pulling the window open, his bat wings are still flapping, balancing him while he’s in the air. “Come on out.”

“Door.” She muttered as a matter of fact and she shut the window in his face.

He rolled his eyes and waited for her at the entrance. His girlfriend appeared right after and she pulled her hood over her head.

“I’m the one who’s supposed to be afraid of the sun and not you.” He raised a brow and she dismissed him at once. “Hot.”

Without waiting for him, she brought out her white feathery wings and fly away first.

“Cold as always even after we became a couple. I like that. She didn’t change.” He tailed after her fast before holding her hand with a smile and she didn’t mind it.

Yeonhee absentmindedly healed all the flowers inside the school garden as her mind was going elsewhere. She recalled back what the other creatures had to say, or maybe whisper, about her and her boyfriend’s relationship.

“That’s a weird combination and I just had to say it…” A shape-shifter frowned oddly.

“A vampire and an angel as a pair? Really now?” A devil snickered in a mocking manner.

“They must have gone nuts.” A werewolf rolled his eyes.

“They should switch their personalities!” A pixie gasped in shock.

“Angels are mostly cheerful while vampires are usually emotionless.” A cyborg voiced out blankly.

“I know that mixed partner are popular these days but I never really thought of that.” A witch tilted her head to the side with an interesting hum.

Even though a majority of the creatures make fun of her and Wonho’s relationship, there’s a few that support her, especially the other mixed couples.

“You two look cute together. I wish my partner is from other group too.” Hanna, Yeonhee’s angel friend sighed dreamily.

“If he took advantage of you, just punch him in the gut.” The female werewolf gave her a pumped fist as her vampire mate nudged her in the rib. “Like how you did to me?”

“I wish you’ll be happy with him, Yeon-ah.” Yeonhee’s mother ruffled her hair with a giggle.

Her steps came to a halt when the black butterfly came in her view, a sign where the students’ break was already over. As the animal flew pass her, she began to step towards her own class or she’ll get unwanted detention from being late.
