“Oh… You have soccer practice?” Again…? Eunrin tried not to sound that disappointed but her boyfriend could actually see through her as her voice gone down an octave than before.

“Yeah. I’m so sorry, Rin.” Joshua hissed mentally upon seeing her glum face as he rubbed his palms together, feeling so bad for leaving his girlfriend after school for almost two weeks straight now.

Before he could actually apologize once again, his friend already called for him at the front. “Jisoo! Come on or we’ll be late! I don’t want to be scolded by Teacher Yang!”

“Forgive me, Rin.” He bit his bottom lip and went to catch up with his team members.

“What’s wrong? She seems down for a second.” S.Coups asked with a raised brow.

“Yeah. Did you have a fight?” Jeonghan nodded and he frowned worriedly.

“No. We don’t. I promised her that we would walk home together today but coach suddenly wanted to do a practice so… Yeah…” Joshua explained with an exhausted sigh leaving his lips.

“Ouch. That hurts. She seems so happy just now.” S.Coups winced as if he’s feeling Eunrin’s pain making Jeonghan to punch his back, asking him to shut it.

Joshua felt like he wanted to cry a river of tears as he let out another tired sigh. Practice is going to be longer than he thought.

Eunrin waited for Joshua at the library patiently and she looked at the time once in a while. 10 minutes have passed and he’s still not here.

“Where is he? He’s supposed to teach me History…” She mumbled lowly as she scanned around the place in boredom.

Diverting her eyes on her notebook, she doodle random things and a giggle escaped her lips. She wrote hers and Joshua’s name with a heart in between. Making some pointing out arrows at Joshua’s name, she scribbled a few words and some of them were ‘my boyfriend’, ‘he’s smart’ and ‘handsome guy’. (Lol.)

She felt her phone buzzed, indicating a message just came and she her phone. Looking over the message from Joshua just now, an unsatisfied frown came on her eyebrows after reading what he sent her.

I have an emergency Student Council meeting during recess. I forgot to tell you. Sorry. I can’t teach you today. *5 crying emoji* *5 shouting emoji* *5 sad emoji*

Biting her bottom lip, she sent a forced reply although she badly wants to throw everything at this second.

It’s okay. It can’t be helped…

She stared at their name and erased the compliments she had for him before writing some new ones such as ‘bad guy’, ‘I hate you’ and ‘why are you my bo’

Stopping the word ‘boyfriend’ as if she finally got her mind right, Eunrin tore the paper from her book and crushed it to a shape of a ball. As she made her way out, she threw the trash away.

Today, Joshua could finally walk home with Eunrin and she couldn’t be any happier than this. They were in different classes so she treasures their time together very much. She skipped her way to his locker since he’s waiting for her there and when he saw her, he waved with a huge grin on his face.

“Do you want to go anywhere?” He lent out his hand and she received it with a small smile. “Sure. Anywhere is fine.”

As they were walking around the streets, Eunrin went to see the teddy bears inside the ‘A+ Dolls’ shop and Joshua went to answer his phone first. She was about to show him the cute purple colored one when she spotted him talking on the phone.

“No. Even in the middle of our date you had to go?” She mumbled sadly when he suddenly made his way to her.

“Rin-ah, I--”

“What? You have soccer practice? You have Student Council meeting? You can’t spend your time more with me again? Fine. I get it. I’m not that important to you, isn’t it?” She countered continuously making him surprise by her sudden change.

“No! It’s not that… Listen to me--”

Once again, Joshua’s words were cut by Eunrin herself as she shoved the teddy bear to him in anger.
